Nexus 6 no LTE/4g - Nexus 6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey there, my Nexus 6 with the Verizon (US) Sim-Lock is not able to get 4g/LTE network in Germany. It only has acces to 3g and E. Is there a way to fix it?
Thanks a lot
PS: Sorry for bad english...

yes, get unlock code.

They take a couple days but it is free. Worked like a charm for mine.

[GUIDE] How to Get Free Wifi Tether on Droid Bionic!

So, here's a way you can get FREE wifi tethering/mobile hotspot on your Droid Bionic so you don't have to pay Verizon twice for the same internet you are already paying for. I don't know why Verizon would block this feature especially when you consider that there's a 2GB cap on your mobile internet usage anyways.
<MOD EDIT>
We don't have a 2GB cap. I've been over 2GB's a month for almost a year without any issues.
we don't?

Two gig limit is for anyone that was not grandfatherd in. Data plans now have limits and different caps.

<MOD EDIT>
I am grandfathered in, Verizon throttles you once you reach 5gigs while on 3G, but they haven't been able to throttle 4G still, enjoy it while it lasts, I am at >3 gigs so far this month, and that is with no tethering!
im trying to do this but i have windows 7. for some reason the usb is not recognized by my comp... also do u have the latest readiocomm for me it says that mine is 2 month old

[ROOT] Verizon Note 10.1 - SCH-I925

First and foremost, I did not create this root package.
Just posting it here so people can have it in the forum:

Use the Frodo exploit.
I am working with a dev to unlock the bootloader, donation will be automatically to the following charity:
http://www.pawschicago.org/
The Bootloader is in fact locked.
If any devs need the following:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p1
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p2
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p8
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p9
let me know I can send them to you right away.

Has anyone tried any custom recovery flashes? Does this do what my brothers Verizon note 2 did when I put cwm on it before I realized I had to unlock bootloader first? I spoke with their verizon's reps before buying their note 10.1 LTE and asked them if it can be used with other network providers and he said, " Yes, DEFINITELY, The note 10.1 LTE is GSM unlocked" To my great surprise when I received my note 10.1, I couldn't get it to work. Will there be a way to get this to work? They say it is unlocked but in reality it isn't. I need help because I really do not want to be on the verizon network because I have solavei that gives me unli 4g data already. Please help me. I dont mind paying someone to get this working for me, I just don't want to pay verizon's crazy fees just for data.

Awesome, I wish I could help but my coding skills are in their infancy at the moment. Anxiously awaiting the ability to use nandroid backup again and deodex'd roms. I assume deodex is what it would take to get the multiwindow complete control app to work on the 10.1?

I am in the Twin Cities, MN, so I have LTE in various places. I won't be able to compare to my EVO because it's not active on my line, but I'll post speeds later tonight when I go through an LTE zone (thank you Micro Center for being perfectly placed...).
Testing now. I would like to go S-Off before I test, but I guess that can wait.

Service mode/USSD codes

Is there any way to access the service mode menu? I wanted to see which LTE band my phone is on but none of the codes work with my nexus 6.

Sorry...
I apologize for bringing this thread back from the dead but I figured it was worth noting that the USSD code *#*#873283#*#* works on T-Mobile although I have no idea what it actually does. Tired it on my phone and it responded with "check-in succeeded". I googled it and it apparently has something to do with Sprint, even though I'm on T-Mobile??? Strange.....
