Hello,
I have a Note 9 N9600 SD845 HongKong Version, I am using Lyca Mobile sim( Tmobile MVNO) with it .
I have gone through this forum and could not figure out if its possible to install the N960U1 firmware on N9600.
If yes, will it activate all the tmobile bands on N9600 ?
I also have a ATT unlocked note 9 N960U, I have flashed it to N960U1 successfully using Odin. Is it the same process for N9600 ?
Thanks in advance
I there, I have the same phone model and the conclusion that I made was that you can't just flash the u1 firmware like how awe are used to. I had to root mine in order to install tmb software. I then had 4g Lte and wifi calling, but before you root look at what you may be missing out on. It is usaully stuff dealing with knox i.e samsung pay, secure folder, etc.

I dont need Samsung Pay but after flashing to u1 would I get OTA updates or every time will have to update manually for the monthly security patches

Unless you flash the official Samsung software using Odin, you will not be able to install OTA updates. But from my understanding you can't flash USA U1 firmware onto the Hong Kong/International N9600 Note 9. The bootloader will only accept firmware for their respective models. All U.S. Note 9's can flash any of the carrier versions or the unlocked U.S. firmware, but you can't flash the international N9600 firmware... and vice versa.
I found what is supposed to be the Dec release for the T-Mobile variant.

I cannot get Odin to flash successfully, I get a re-partition error. The box for re-partition is unchecked in the option column. Do I need to flash the last Android 10 update to T-Mobile first?
That's for the S20 not FE
I did not notice that 981 instead of 781. I must have been too excited. Thank you.'
Hello
My s21 ultra exynos CSC is EUX
no way to change it
I flashed with odin with or without sim, but nothing. So samsung pay doesn't work, and i can't receive official update.
What Can i do?
Hello,
Recently i bought a used Japanese Docomo Note 8 (snapdragon), i believe that the stock rom is tweaked/upgraded/modified to accept my local carrier in Malaysia.
I did a search and found that Snapdragon chip is only available on SM-N950U/SM-N9500 version but it appears that my phone model number in "about phone" is SM-N950F.
As far as i know that N950F is using Exynos SoC.
I am now having trouble to install and use Shealth together with others banking app or even Samsung Pay.
I checked my chipset from CPUz and it is indeed a Snapdragon but running on SM-N950F version of firmware.
this is my current firmware information:-
BL : N950FXXS5DSC5
AP : N950FXXS5DSC5
CP : N950FXXS5DSC5
CSC : N950FOXM5DSB2
HW REV : N950JPN.04
(More on details on my attached screenshot)
I downloaded latest firmware for N950F and flash with latest Odin, result is fail attempt with "secure check fail : pit"
I have limited knowledge on Samsung Note 8 firmware and hoping that you can enlighten me.
My plan is to identify what is going on with the current stock firmware and if possible to flash back to Original stock rom (CSC: XME) or perhaps any Multi-CSC stock firmware.
Or is it save to just using custom rom with bricking the device?
I have a recently purchased galaxy s21 ultra 5G SM-G998U and Im currently stuck on Sept 2022 patch with A12. CSC is XAA/XAA/XAA/ATT. I'm from Kenya and since this is a US-based model how do I go about accessing the updates, do I flash the firmware to the one in my region or the one in the US
Should be fine, as long as the CSC you want to use isn't included in the firmware you're flashing. You must flash the firmware that corresponds to your model number - meaning you can't flash G998B, G998W, or G998N firmware.
You'll need to use the CSC.tar, not HOME_CSC.tar, because you'll need a factory reset.
So I use a SM-G998U or U1 firmware?
