I was trying to flash a custom rom because I didn't like the att customized rom. I unlocked the bootloader thru htcdev.com and I used the All-In-One toolkit to flash CWM. Everything was fine and I was able to enter CWM. However, after I flashed the Android Revolution HD 6.0 rom, it just stucked at HTC screen. I am trying to enter the recovery and reflash the rom, but I cannot enter CWM anymore. It just disappeared and reboot. I can enter the bootloader. I tried to reflash CWM, but same thing happened. Please help :crying:

Happened to me too, I finally got into CWM again after locking my bootloader, unlocking it again. Still can't get it to boot, nor Sideload a ROM from ADB. :/

I just got the phone today(att), are you sure that these roms are for us and not for an international variant of the phone?

The good news is, if your phone powers on, you haven't "bricked" anything.
The bad news is, it sounds like you didn't back up your stock ROM and there's something hinky in how you flashed CWM the second time.
The better news is that you can restore the stock recovery image, and using that, you can reflash the stock ROM. This will put you back at square one, but rest assured that if you can power on your device, and you can get to fastboot, you haven't "bricked" anything.

Don't fastboot flash the recovery. fastboot boot the recovery image. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the good news! May I ask that where I can download the att stock rom and the stock recovery image? I can only find the european and asia version. Thanks
Did you happen to flash the correct boot.img that should have been supplied with the Rom? If not you have to flash it as well.
i flash stock MOB31E rom using official TWRP 3.0.2.2 after i flash it my boot recovery was gone and only appeared is broken android with exclamation point

Probably your device's recovery replaced by stock recovery.
Inorder to prevent this , you shouldve uncheck mount system read-only.
Anyhow, now you can still root your phone and install a custom recovery with a tool!
if you wish I'll link it here!
BTW, your device isn't booting now?
Pls its ok to me but i dont have a pc

Its still booting no stock recovery and custom recovery
I've recently flashed my OP3T with stock ROM 4.1.3, & do the clean flash with TWRP. After finished, when I went back to the recovery mode, TWRP is lost, and the recovery goes back to stock recovery. Every time I start up/reboot my phone, I always get the DM-Verify warning.
Anyone can point me why after flashed the 4.1.3, my recovery goes back to stock recovery?
Also, which method should I use to change the stock recovery to TWRP & bypass the DM-Verify warning?
Thanks in advance
As for the TWRP, after flashing with TWRP you have to boot into Recovery and root (SuperSu/Magisk).
Only then TWRW sticks.
As for the DM-Verify, there is a thread here how to do.
Honestly, the DM-Verify doesn't bother me, so I don't bother to remove it
Cheers

Thanks for the answer, . Actually when I flashed with 4.1.3, it came from the Experience ROM, ver. 17. After flashed with the stock 4.1.3, when I went back to the recovery, the TWRP is gone, replaced by the stock recovery. I thought that when we flash via custom recovery such as TWRP, it will bypass to flash recovery, CMIIW.
When you flash stock ROM, the image will contain the stock recovery, so you will need to reflash twrp from fast boot

Booting up default ROM, it will make sure recovery is original and if not it will restore it just like it did for you. TWRP rooting will remove the original recovery making it impossible to break TWRP for you.

You don't have to. Just flash magisk or SuperSU right after the ROM, you will get both root and twrp
got stuck in boot loop after unrooting SU then wiped factory settings and stuck on boot with no rebooting and access to TWRP

There may be a more simple way that I am not aware of but I would just download the stock image and flash it with Odin.
I had a similar problem before and flashing stock fixed it.

Glad you managed to sort it
I thought you did not have access to TWRP, which is why I suggested flashing the stock images.
for future reference, you can get stock images here https://updato.com/
Should you ever need it.
