Question Kali - Xiaomi Mi 11

Hello I would like to know if a Kali compilation is available on this model?

So far there not 1 custom rom available for the Mi11.
(OneOS is not a real custom rom)

Custom roms and kernels scene?

Hello
I can't stand a phone without root, fortunately we have exynos models of s10/10+ here, though I see that only one rom is available for now, will more devs will cook roms and kernels later?
Also is it a pain to flash custom roms due to A/B slots like it's on 6t?
If we get an stable twrp the full world of GSI opens up.
For non samung roms (aosp) the chances for an S10 specific rom is close to zero..
I am confident twrp will be stable, all new phones get this first period where twrp is semi stable then gets fully loaded

can't wait anymoreeeeeee :crying::crying::crying::crying: LOL I preordered my S10 and it's here but I haven't used it properly so far, only at home and didn't even set it up fully... I neeeeeeeed twrp. root and xposed are available and daily useable.
Saw there is a new way of rooting the s10/10+.
But no new custom roms
when custom roms?
I think twrp needs more stability
I have the s10+ for a couple of days, I can live without rooting for now but the ads are a teal pain in the *** . As soon as the custom roms are rolling on s10+ it will give ne another reason to root
don't wanna sound rude but for what do you need twrp or custom rom .. just root it, install xposed and customize your phone ..

Modify custom ROM's

Hi guys,
Say I wanted to modify an existing ROM (LineageOS, HavocOS, AEX, etc.) then what would I need to do? Is there an existing, comprehensive guide to modifying ROM's? Can I modify an existing ROM for another device of the same manufacturer (for example a ROM for Realme X to Realme X2 Pro)?
I know it needs knowledge of all sorts, and I would say that I have enough knowledge to play around with a build, and even so I wouldn't mind bricking my device just to try.

it would already be very useful to understand if it is possible to switch from Rom Stock CN (China) to Global. I have tried but there is nothing about it
I'm currently on havoc os gsi and there's a couple of things if they're added to it it would be perfect
1-90 hz
2-stock camera port
3-fingerprint and face unlock features
4-optimization for animations

General We need twrp,we need ROM developers!

We need twrp, we need ROM developers!Xiaomi is an open mobile phone. There are many users of mi11ultra this time. I hope to have many ROMs like oneplus, especially the native Android ROMs. Thank you, Rom developers. It's worth noting that the beta version of twrp has appeared in pixel5 with the same partition mechanism. Xiaomi11 series mobile phones can be saved!

Custom Rom for redmi 4x

Hey folks. I hope you guys are doing well.
I want to know that should I install custom rom on my redmi 4x? Will it create problem for my device for long term use? If not, then which custom rom is the most stable out there and fast as well. Literally which one will be the best? I want your help. Thanks!
Since there isn't any good compact budget phones out there and I had to change several apps I use because they're not compatible with the 4x's software anymore, I've been researching about this.
The most recommended ROM is PixelExperience, the main downside about it is that has been discontinued. It works on Android 10 and that's an improvement over the 7.1 we have. Here: https://download.pixelexperience.org/santoni
Another one quite recommended is Lineage OS. This one has not been discontinued as far as I know but works on Android 9. Look: https://lineageosroms.com/santoni/
With all the custom roms, just like official ones, there always will be users that say something is not working properly.
I haven't tried any custom rom, ok? I just googled a lot about the options.
Good luck.

Unfortunately Lineage OS stopped official builds for the Redmi 4X this year, when they stopped the 16 builds (official blog post).

From personal experience, I've used Lineage OS 15 and 16 since I bought this phone over 2 years ago. And it has been working great. It takes a beginner some time to get used to flashing, recoveries, testing new ROMs, etc. but that should not be a big issue. The Linage OS wiki has a very good tutorial on how to set the phone up, it should mostly work with other ROMs too https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/santoni/install

There's actually no developpement for Galaxy Tab S8 serie. The hardware is pretty new and Samsung doesn't help users to dives into his hardware...
If you want to try roms, you can still install TWRP and try GSI.
About Linux, except using Termux, you can't do anything since the Kernel is locked and there's no way (yet) to enable KVM on snapdragon devices...

GSI (Generic System Image) is a kind of rom that (should) work on any Treble enabled device (aka almost any device that come with Android 11 and up).
However, on Samsung devices, most of hardware relies on proprietary drivers (like camera or spen...), so you should'nt expect them to work good as using Samsung firmware
There is not custom roms almost to none Samsung device any more. Samsung is trying to become Apple. Locking every device with many ways. Only root there is, and this more difficult every year. Unfortunately Samsung is still creating the best hardware , and good software, so there isn't very easy to go to another company for the most users..
