Hey,
I've created a Telegram support chat for the 6T.
I think it's very helpful and often easier and quicker to solve problems or ask and answer questions than here on XDA. You will also find useful information and links.
Feel free to join:
[INT] OnePlus 6T support chat
1. English only
2. No spam/flame etc.
3. No off topic please
MODERATOR NOTICE: LINK REMOVED
Cheers
Per the forum rules, posting social media links is not allowed on XDA:
Self-promotion is forbidden, this includes blogs, social media and video channels etc. Random links will be removed.

@Guard of the snow
I've not only moved your thread into the Q&A section but also removed the links to Telegram.
As an exemption from the last bullet of rule no. 5 of the XDA Forum Rules, we grant only developers the privilege to share references to their social media in their own development threads. These conditions obviously don't apply to this thread or to you. For this reason the reference to Telegram has been removed from your thread. Please refrain from sharing of social media in future. Thanks for your cooperation!

You are a bad mod if i am being honest with you
1. You are using incorrect reasons in your mod message
2. Rule 5 is "Create a thread topic or post a message only once, this includes external links & streaming media." last bullet point is
Self-promotion is forbidden, this includes blogs, social media and video channels etc. Random links will be removed
Which does not apply to me since i am sharing news, in the news channel, its not owned or affilited with me, i am not promoting it, i am only sharing a rom which people have done without any issues before. THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT GRANTING THE "PRIVILAGE" TO DEVELOPERS IN THE RULES
3. Yes IMEI changing is illegal IF ITS NOT YOUR IMEI

Mam, Sir!
I appreciate that you help me to correctly read the rules of this private website. And it's correct, you initially posted the thread in the Guides, News, & Discussion section. That section contains two stuck threads that are actually meant to be read and acknowledge prior to any posting. One of them deals with Telegram:
WhatsApp / Telegram Chat Channels - Way Forward
Please read the content by clicking on the following link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/3769646/
forum.xda-developers.com
and it directs to nothing else then that we only accept Telegram links by a developer in his own development thread:
WhatsApp / Telegram Chat Channels - Way Forward
Why was your Telegram/WhatsApp group/channel thread closed? Well, it's just becoming too much. Going forward, we will only allow only one Telegram/WhatsApp link in a development thread by the ROM developer provided thorough support is still...
forum.xda-developers.com
And it doesn't matter if you own or are affiliated with a Telegram channel or not. If the developer teams of the two OS you've mentioned decided for whatever reasons not to publish their work on XDA, why should we allow XDA to be a platform to promote their social media?
And as a user who just joined XDA today - and I hope you'll always receive here the support and assistance that you require or even better publish your own development here, you probably don't know yet that Telegram is not accepted on XDA as a filehost because a download of a ROM would require a registration on Telegram.
Last but not least: I've not had the impression that you shared news but raised a question: "Both have android 12, has anyone tried these?"

I don't know how long you monitored XDA as a guest before you decided to register this account today. If you're a long-time guest you've certainly realised that we allow support for the restoration or call it repair of the original IMEI of a device. By the way, it's not your IMEI it's the one of the specific device.
And this is what you've stated in the thread that I've closed:
I could maybe use my imei from my other phone which is redmi note 9?

Your question is a clear indication to start a discussion not about repair/restoration of the original IMEI of the device but to seek guidance about how to replace the IMEI of one device with the IMEI of another device.
I hope I was able to shed some light on your concerns.

I am sorry for being mad at you in my first post, for me the first emotion i feel to anything is anger, i am aware thats a bad way to live and i am working on it, i am aware that doesnt excuse my actions and i really am sorry. About the IMEI change, i have asked if there was a way to repair IMEI, and if there wasnt if i could change it to mine, i am now aware that is wrong and i shouldnt have done. I have nothing else to say for my other post as you are completely right about them. Once again i am sorry for being rude to you and being a nuisance. You are a good mod and i shouldnt have said that you arent based off of one post

Regarding social media links please observe that as an exemption from the last bullet of rule no. 5 of the XDA Forum Rules, we grant only developers the privilege to share references to their social media in their own development threads and if thorough support is provided in the thread. These conditions obviously don't apply to your thread or you. Additional information is also available here:

WhatsApp/Telegram Groups and Channels - Going Forward Hello XDA family! Just notifying all members that posting certain links to Telegram and other sites like WhatsApp is now allowed on XDA. What does that mean? We will allow links to messages...

As a friendly reminder, please refrain from sharing social media links unless done in the OP of your own development thread.
Additionally, I checked your post history and deleted all posts that didn't add any value to the thread, in which you've posted or to XDA in general. Please review the above linked rules not only with emphasis on rule no. 5 but also no. 15 and post only if you can add value to a subject.
Thanks for your cooperation.

That's Telegram, not XDA, and no official via the company itself at their official link. Not interested in Telegram-only offerings.
Ohh, forgive me. How can i not know what exactly u wish? ... ...
Also; how about stop asking meta questions?
Also pro tip; there is never a "best rom". But DYOR. Im out.

@aLcaTr4z I've sanitised this thread from your references to Telegram and deleted a similar post by you in this thread. In future, please refarin from sharing of references to Telegram groups in your posts!
And allow me to give you another heads-up: In this forum, it's not on you to tell our members what to ask and what not. If you're unhappy with a post, please just report that post in question.
Thanks for your cooperation.

@Oswald Boelcke, how makes this sense? Shall we all live in this XDA bubble only here? Scared of Telegram? I mean, now it makes sense to me while all flee from this here to Telegram. With such "Rules". Sorry for bothering.
You can ask the dev to update the main post with the telegram link, if he doesn't want it then there is nothing anyone can do about. Every site has their own rules and what is allowed, if you don't like some thing about them then you either don't reply or use the services.
What is the best Rom for battery life?

Mam, Sir. It might not make sense to you but I know it makes a lot of sense to many of our XDA users. As you are voluntarily using this private website nobody denies you to "flee to Telegram". But as long as you continue to post on XDA you have to abide by the forum rules, to which you agreed to adhere when you registered a few years ago.
