Install whatsapp on wifi only Galaxy TAB 2 7" w/o rooting your Tab

This is for ppl who are facing issues because of blue stack, apguard or getting error messages like "tablet not supported", "it looks like your client has been modified". Please follow the below steps. I tried today and it worked perfect. No need to root your tablet. For easy understanding, I have colored the text :- Red-Things that are to be done on phone . Green-Things that are to be done on tablet
1) Install Carbon backup app from play store on your android smart phone and on your tablet. My android smart phone is rooted [it should work in non-rooted smart phone as well]
2) Take a back up of whatsapp and select the option to save it on your external SD card.
3) Now move to your tablet. Take a backup of any app. In my case, I took the back up of Temple Run2 and select to save the back up in your external SD card. This is mainly done to create the Carbon backup folder structure.
4) The back up would be available under /ext_sd_card/carbon/
5) Now back to your smart phone- copy the complete carbon folder under /ext_sd_card/carbon/ and upload it some where. You can use some file manager like EXexplorer to do this for you
6) Moving to your tablet, download the carbon folder you uploaded in your tablet and replace with the one that is already existing on your external SD card.
7) Open Carbon application and restore whatsapp
8) It will ask you to install whatsapp from play store. I would recommend you to download the apk and install it.
9) Select restore option again and restore whatsapp data
10) Now you can open whatsapp with the same state as you left it on your smart phone. I mean the messages
Please note : Whatsapp can be attached to a single number only, so please uninstall it on your smart phone after the above process.
If you want to use a different number on your tablet, then follow the below steps after Step 10.
Send one or two messages to your friends.
12) Uninstall whatsapp and install it again.
13) Restore the back up again from carbon app.
14) Open Whatsapp, you will be asked to verify your number.
15) Enter your new number and select Ok. Please make sure that the new number is in working state i.e. the SIM card is inserted into a phone and can receive SMS/call
16) Whatsapp will send the verification code to your new number.
17) Wait for sometime and you will get the prompt on your tablet to enter the verification code.
18) Enter it and enjoy

Good, but there is any way of doing that without an Android smartphone? Will the Bluestacks or YouWave works?

Blue stack worked for many but it did not for me. Not sure of you wave.

Just enter ur other mobile number and a message will appear with the code insert into the tablet and dfonee..

Should I have the smartphone evrytime i use whatsapp along with the tab ! ?
Or I can use any smartphone , follow the above process and after uninstalling whatsapp from that device
, I CAN use normally in my tab ?

Some info about Whatsapp before I answer your question.
1) You can TAG one Whatsapp account with one Phone number only
2) If you try to configure Whatsapp with a already tried phone number, then it would stop working in your previous device. [rather it asks for re-verification of the number in your previous device]
Coming back to your question :
Scenario 1 : Lemme assume that you have
* smartphone [android] with Whatsapp configured with your phone number [eg. 12345].
* you have ANOTHER active phone number [eg. 6789] which can receive SMS.
Then go ahead with the above steps and configure the other number [eg. 6789] on your tab. Now you can enjoy Whatsapp on your Smart phone [with your old number i.e. 12345] and your Tab [with your new number i.e 6789] simultaneously.
Scenario 2: Let us assume you have
* smartphone [android] with Whatsapp configured with your phone number [eg. 12345].
* you do not have an alternate active phone number.
Then go ahead with the above steps and configure whatsapp on your Tab with the only phone number [ i.e. 12345] you have. But after configuring, you will loose whatsapp on your smartphone.
You need not have your smartphone with you every time when you use Whatsapp on your Tab, in any of the above scenarios.

The so called sh*t you mentioned in your post is working for me w/o rooting. If you are not sure how to do stuffs, please stay away and do not de-motivate people. Thanks for understanding.

Whatsapp allows you to have one number bound with one device only. So, it is impossible to have same number on both the devices.

No you can't. Whatsapp allows you to be online on a single device only with the same number. [hope this helps you in better understanding]

WHATSAPP regarding
I am not able to install the APP (WHATSAPP) in my device Samsung Tab GT-P3110 without 3G build no JZ054K P3110DDCMA4...NOTE: I have tried the carbon backup trick its backing & restoring the APP data (not the App).The restore is also with errors as it cannot see the APP in the device.... it asks for app but playstore wouldnt allow (it says the device not supported). However the App is installed from other way .....but would not continue to work . It stops & says (unfortunately its stoped).
Show me the way how to override.....& make the play store to allow install the APP.

It did work for me on an already existing number and all its data too got restored.. Maybe you're missing a step..
Install apk but do not open it.. Restore data and then run/open the app... That did the trick for me..

Hi every one, After i update my note 8 to android 8.0 I encountered a problem, i hav download some video or music via tube mate but samsung music can't detect the music i download and samsung gallery also can't detect the video or picture i download.. anyone meet ths problem? i try copy picture, music, or video from my computer to my note 8 ,but also samsung music and gallery can't detect all the file i copy into my phone. But other app can detect all my file.. how to fix ths problem??? Help me!...thank

did you gave storage permissions to those apps when you opened them for first time?
you can check under settings/apps/APPNAME/permissions
if not you need to give them storeage permissions and maybe some more, then they will be able to read all files wich are on your phone ....
If this doesn't help try to factory reset but backup your stuff first

Question cant clone my old phone to mi 11 pro

im trying over and over with a few apps:clone it , smart switch , mi mover , any apps and i just cant copy my old phone (huawei mate 10 pro) to my new one mi 11 pro . i tried with doing nothing , just giving the 2 phones to integrate on the same wifi net , i tried with hot spot leading by the old phone and i saw that the both phones are connected together , but nothing . i tried with note 8 , to copy from the huawei to note 8 and i succeed in it , but with the mi 11 pro ? no !!! what is the reasson? whats stops the 2 phones to be comunicate and transfer the whole files and sms etc.

What are trying to "clone"?
SmartSwitch isn't that smart especially between different OS's/devices.
Try to get SmartSwitch to copy just the SMS files, then phone contacts separately.
Create backup files on the old device (which you should have started doing long ago*) then transfer files manually.
*All critical data I need for a full reload is on my SD card which is then redundantly backed up.
Plan ahead, have a plan or you'll have a mess or worse, lost data.

Worst case scenario , copy everything into a laptop folder from the old phone and transfer it to the new phone via USB cable
Your folders structure will still be intact when you reinstall most apps that have media folders, images, documents , videos etc
A lot of apps don't like being cloned thesedays and won't work properly anyway unless you reinstall them from the playstore

Hello guys
i'm facing this weird issue when i copy paste or move files i notice very low writing speed and some time between file and the next one .. specialy when the files have small size like below 1MB
does anyone else has faced this problem ?
my other ( older ) samsung phone which has EMMC5 is far faster than RN10 ( UFS ) when copy paste which is very strange !!
My Xiaomi is Note 10 Pro / unlocked BL / Rooted / CrDroid 7.16

Well I currently am facing this problem on an unrooted stock ROM. [MIUI Global 13.0.1 Stable]
So i doubt if this is a ROM problem. And if it is, it exists in the stock ROM too.

can you explain the problem you are facing in details
what are you copying ? numbers and sizes
where are you copying from and where to
being on miui stock and having this issue may tell it is a hardware problem
try copy from internal to a folder in the same storage and report back

Well there aren't much details to be provided. Was just moving some images from the WhatsApp data in Android folder onto my laptop to free up space. The sizes of all of the pictures were < 5 mb. Was moving 2-3 at once and took 30 seconds.
Also I was deleting some audio folders of WhatsApp too which took ~30s to delete a folder with just 1 audio file, and this happened multiple times.
Not sure if the problem is with my mobile or my laptop, but is definitely a lot lot slower than expected.

well that another thing and here we can't be sure who or which to blame maybe usb port maybe data cable not necessary the mobile itself
my problem was when copying or mpving from here to there in the internal storage itself
or when deleting also
while the most annoying thing i forgot.to mention earlier is opening a folder with much files inside like 100 image pr tens of apks it tooks a lot of time to open the folder and i have to wait some seconds with the rotating loading icon which is really frustrating

Hello folks I got a new oppo neo x3 and am having problems installing apps well the main one I use is f-droid but when I go to install I get error saying can't install I also tried different ways that found on Google changing permission and such with no luck any advice be great

Weird! I just tried on mine, no problem to install it. Could you provide a screenshot of the error you get, the version of coloros you have, the name of the app you use to get the APK and any screenshot of any other messages you get?
