It's gone for now. Hopefully it will come back in the release version.

I have noticed that my P5 has been much more sensitive to temperature on the beta 5. It never overheated on A11, so I'm hoping this won't be a thing with A12.

i've enabled the new weather widget as shown in:
Here's a look at the Assistant weather widget in the Google App
Ahead of the Android 12 public release, we have spotted evidence of a brand new Assistant weather widget. Here's what it looks like.
www.xda-developers.com
but it still wont solve the live space weather issue
if you are rooted you can enable this receiver in google app = "com.google.android.apps.search.assistant.verticals.snapshot.widgets.weather.WeatherWidget_Receiver"
edit: after google update, now widget support material ui colors..
edit 2: added the new pill widget, receiver:
"com.google.android.apps.search.assistant.verticals.snapshot.widgets.weather.FreeFormWeatherWidget_Receiver"

[REF] Complete widget list.

While thousands of apps have been released since Android's release, there have been relatively few widgets created (for obvious reasons). However, some do exist, and when mixed in with all of the fart apps and soundboards, it can be quite difficult to catch new ones. That being said, a thread tracking all released widgets could probably be beneficial to many. I'll try to update this first post with others' comments as more widgets are released, so feel free to share any I may have missed, or that have just come out.
Also, the widgets should be mainly universal, able to work on multiple homes. If a widget is only intended for, say, aHome, please include that information. Listing dimensions would also be nice.
So far:
Analog clock: The one from 1.0 (2 x 2)
aniCalendar*: A monthly calendar, that can be changed to a clock, as well. Available for $.99 on the Market, but definitely worth the price (2 x 2).
BBC News Widget*: Self-explanatory; gives recent news. When clicked, gives more news stories (1 x 4).
Calendar: One of my favorite; shows upcoming appointment times and locations from your Google Calendar. Also displays the day of the week and the date (2 x 2).
Forecast*: A great little widget that shows the day's high, low, and type of weather (sunny, rainy, etc.). When clicked, provides a forecast for the next few days right on the home screen (1 x 1; larger 2 x 1 version available).
Music: Extremely useful; allows you to play/plause/skip/previous right from the home screen (1 x 4).
Picture frame: The one from 1.0; self-explanatory (2 x 2).
Quick calendar*: While the app is excellent, the widget definitely needs polishing. Currently, places a small block on your home screen showing your next couple appointments. Available after downloading the Quick Calendar app (2 x 2, I believe).
Retro clock*: A digital clock with a retro look (2 x 2).
Search: The one from 1.0; self-explanatory (1 x 4).
Sticky note*: Great widget; appears as an icon of a sticky note (why there is a push-pin alludes me). Once clicked, the widget expands showing you a larger note, which can be edited quite easily (1 x 1).
Weather: Provides some details regarding the day's weather (1 x 4).
Yahoo News*: Very similar to BBC news, but of course, from a different news source (1 x 4).
* Available for download in Market.

you didn't mention the best thing about Bratag's excellent Sticky Note widget
When you press the camera button while either the title or note body field is selected (when editing or creating a sticky), it performs a voice-to-text conversion so you speak your sticky notes into the phone instead of typing. Very cool.

The ones not provided in the market are all, I believe, part of the 1.5 firmware. I run dxTop, and they are all available without downloading anything else. Thus, they should be available with the standard Home. I'm not sure about aHome or OpenHome.

WifiToggle is very nice. There is/was also another widget by this company, Rounded Labs, which toggles your ringer between silent, vibrate and on. I couldn't find it on cyrket though.
Brightness Toggle Widget
Thanks for the tip. With the improved security for widgets, I see new ones popping up every day now (Google's Android market).
The guys you mentioned added a Brightness Toggle Widget as well. If only I could add these 1x1 widgets to folders...
Here's the Ringer Toggle Widget by the way.
If you can't find Cyrket stuff, try again later, I suspect there might be performance issues. The traffic is probably getting impressive and increasing every day...
Thanks JJah. These widgets are great. The guys at rounded labs need to add a fourth one for gps or something so I have a complete row. I agree about putting them in a folder too. Another option that would be cool would be the ability to edit the colors. I like the blue, but I also like to switch wallpapers and it looked kind of weird with a bright red bg.

thanks for posting about my SimpleWidgetPack, I just thought i would mention the widget sizes and other information here for anyone interested
Simple Time - 2x1, display the current time, option for 12 or 24 hour clock
Simple Date - 2x1, display the current date in the form "XXX YY" where XXX is the first 3 letters of the month and YY is the numerical date
Simple Battery - 1x1, display the current battery charge as a percentage
Simple Temperature - 1x1, displays the current temperature as a degree, uses Google weather api to retrieve temperature based off of the location that you enter. Options for update interval time, and farenheit/celsius
All four widgets have options to change the text color and background color.
The application is available through the Android Market for $0.99
Ill promote my own widgets
* TimerWidget (1x1):
a timer that can be set in minutes... progress will be shown in a modern hourglass on the homescreen and it will vibrate/ring when the time is elapsed )
* VolumeWidget (1x1):
a widget thats shows the current ring mode ( vibrate / silent /ring ) and the volume. By clicking on the widget you can set the ring mode and the volume with a slider
Both can be downloaded in the market in Applications \ Productivity
Both widgets are totally free, but include a banner on their settings screen.
you what would great? if there was an XDA-Dream widget

HD Widgets stopped working

I had been using hd widgets for my weather and clock widgets. Everything was working fine until my note 9 upgraded to pie. Now the clock won't update after the screen turns off. If I reboot the widget won't load until I remove it and create it again. Anybody else having compatibility issues with their note 9 after the pie update. Mine is the N960U1 model.
If you check the google play entry and reviews it mentions issues folks have on pie
Thanks. I missed that

Question Gesture and custom launcher

Hello, I have a problem with the navigation gestures and the custom launcher, Nova launcher in this case, but all the tested launchers had this problem. When I return to the home page and I tap on an application quickly after, the screen flashes and the application does not launch. But while waiting half a second after having returned to the home page, I do not have this problem.
The navigation bar doesn't trigger the problem and the One Ui launcher works fine.
Does anyone have this problem?
Watch my video to see the problem more precisely.
Eyah
Yeah. Nova devs said it's a Google limitation that they put on 3rd party launchers. So we have to wait til Google let's 3rd party launchers have some sort of access to something.
If you noticed, the lower corner have the white marking to activate google assistant that pops up.
This problem is also on Android 10 on most devices... Its a shame google doesnt dort this out...
You can have third party gestures 100 percent working on any Samsung phone if you install Hexed from the Play Store, create a custom theme and in the theme preferences check Navbar height and set it to 0DP. After you build the theme the navbar will be gone and you can use something like Vivid Navigation gestures for your navigation. You can even hide the battery icon and keep the percentage. I highly recommend the app.
I thought it was fixed with Android 11
I could be satisfied with the One Ui launcher but we can't at all install icon packs that come from the play store... Damn I begin to regret my OnePlus 7 Pro

I've thought the same... Its strange... Yes in terms of launcher oneplus is nice but thery Update policy ****ed me up... Had the 7t pro mclaren that im using as second phone and they said Android 11 on December 2020, now its february and nothing... Also security patch is November 2020. Samsung is way better innterms of update/camera/battery abd build quality...

Question Dynamic Calendar Icon

Is it OP launcher or Android 12 issue that calendar icon only displays 31 rather than the actual date. I tried different icon packs but no go. If I am not mistaken, I had this feature on my OnePlus 7 Pro on android 11. I understand this feature works with 3rd party launchers but was curious to know any fix to make this feature work with the default launcher. Thanks
Install Google calendar
Google calendar is the default calendar on this device. I did further research and it appears to be a known issue with this device. Hopefully, next iteration of firmware might fix it. It's a step backwards imo. Not a big deal but annoying for sure.

I use nova. There's no true OnePlus launcher anymore. The stock launcher is just a rebadged oppo launcher

I have the same issue as well but others report no issues with stock/system launcher. Dynamic Calendar icon works fine with 3rd party launchers like Nova, Action Launcher, etc. I am hoping NOVA will come up with a way to smooth the gesture hiccups. Action Launcher recent update did make the gestures much smoother (although not perfect). So there is a hope
I use business calendar for work, has a tonne of options, think there's a free version, widget looks better then Google calendar too.
I think if it's to be a dynamic icon, wouldn't that essentially be a widget.
Think I've been under a rock. Haven't noticed dynamic icons before
Edit: I've never noticed that lol. Just spotted it now

Hi all, One of the things that was missing for me was the center clock. The void in the middle needed to be filled so here you have a module to place the clock smack in the middle, it's not off center like previous mods, this one is as it...

I tried to do my own cinematic wallpaper after June update but it doesn't work on my Pixel 7. I do everything as is described but I haven't small button with stars. What's going on?

Need to get a server side update before it will work. Slowly rolling out...
All feature drop updates aren't rolling out on the go, even though you have the June feature drop update installed. It will come with an app update.

For ANYONE experiencing this issue, go to the app info for "Wallpaper & Styles app, & Google / pixel wallpaper images" app. .
Click the 3 button menu at top right of app info, click "uninstall updates", and it will instantly appear"
Many ppl sideload the beta wallpaper & styles app, n ESPECIALLY Google/Pixel wallpaper images, (I updated my 6a with the Pixel wallpaper images app from 7 and 7a to replace my Nature swept walls with the newer feathers walls,) before the June update, and after the reboot, I was missing emoji/cinematic wallpapers as well.
Soon as I uninstalled updates back 2 the factory version, everything appeared as it should

Sorry this doesn't work for me.
Had to 'show system apps' for it to appear and the only option I get is disable or force stop.
This is on a stock Pixel 7.
Maybe as you sideloaded the app it give you the option to uninstall.
Have to wait for it to update.
The Emoji wallpaper does work, and with the cinematic bit, just not user wallpapers

Look under show system once your in the app info section, and find Google Wallpaper Images.. uninstall updates... That's what worked for me.
The app itself is located in product/ app
I found it but it is impossible to uninstall updates. I haven't this option.

The option pops up when you tip on the three dots on the top right corner of the "App Info"->"Google Wallpaper Screen" (german name: "Emoji-Workshop: Hintergrund").
I sideloaded the App update as well and it did not work but after uninstalling the updates as described it updated itself in < 24h after a reboot.
You do not need to be logged in into the play store but the play store app has to be activated.
