I'm using the 2gb version, which for some reason they decided it was ok to put an 32 bits OS into a 64 bits hardware IN 2021
So, apparently, the 3gb version use a 64 bit rom. Can I root my smartphone and then install this rom?
The Redmi 9C 3gb variant uses the same rom with the 2gb variant. Therefore, it's both on 32-bit.
Let's just wait for xiaomi to give us a 64-bit rom or a custom rom.

This is a shame, this phone is totally nerfed with this 32-bit rom.

Nope, the sources r broken and xiaomi isnt even bothering fixing them so this might not be possible

hey guys, firstly forgive me for my ugly english, because i'am an arabian man..
my problem is in doogee x5 max pro stock rom it comes x32 bit and my phone processor is mediatek mt6737 and it's a 64 bit processor most of the custom roms for my rom is 64 bit and needs a 64 bit twrp recovery ! that cant be installed on my 32 os
what can i do ? any one have any method that help my to install the 64 roms ?

Absolutely not, you gotta wait for kernel sources just like the rest of us. Currently only LOS14.1 and MIUI8 and MIUI9 are available.

No, you have a different phone with different configurations, and the fingerprint Hal alone would cause a lot of issues. Do not flash any roms from this thread. Your best option would be using custom miui Xiaomi.EU rom.

The problem is that there aren't many of the mi8 pro's around. If you want a custom rom you could try asking a developer to build one for you for a fee. its alot of work, and you would need to be the Guinea Pig tester. Again, I feel that you are better off using xiaomi.EU or Stock with a custom recovery and Root. This will be your best experience anyway.
As we know there's only difference in the cameras, i am eager to know if same custom rom will work on both the devices. I am planning on buying RN 10 pro (indian). I will only buy it if i get enough developer support.

ok can you slap "Sweet" ROM on a "Sweetin" device with MI flash tools and lock the bootloader ? is it safe enough ?

olive/ 8​olivelitec /8a​olivewood/ 8 dual​For stock roms you can only flash those that match the code name.
For the AOSP some include the 3 models.
