hi
As you all know m31s has slow motion and süper slow motion video captıure capability.
If I'm not mistaken, there wer "tirgger area" mode for my s10e at süper slow motion mode.
User was able to select that mode and move a sqare area on the displey to select area.
And if any movement happens at that area, camera was starting super slow motion capture. for either 4ms or 8ms.
I remeber that was available on my M31s whanI just purchased it.
But recently I couldn't find that setting.
do you know any way to re enable it, or any ROM that feature is still available.
thanks in advance.

Any news on this? I have seen on GSM Arena that the Galaxy S6 actually shoots slow motion with audio, the interface in the Note 4 is good as it is, it just lacks the proper shooting mode, Slow motion with Audio, video quality is ok right now, i just miss the audio, adding the slow motion effect to a video directly on the phone is a huge upgrade, but having the Note 4 lacking behind the iphone 5 is just not right, S6 does it right tho, any news of someone porting the S6 camera to the Note 4? Thanks for reading.
You can use 'Snap Camera' app, open it, enable advanced controls (or something like that), go to video tab, choose 720p, change bitrate if desired, now choose Record at maximum framerate (or something like that). Record a video and play it at x0.25 with VLC and/ or use a video editoron your pc.
Thanks for the reply, but im interested in the current slow motion mode in the note 4 where you can slow down a fraction of the video while the rest keeps the normal speed, exporting the video like that is ok on the note 4, but no audio.

Oh, then try this app alongside with the other one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobile.bizo.slowmotion
Open this app, choose to record a video using Snap Camera with the settings I told you before, then return to the app and edit the video as you want.
Hi
My camera record slow motion video but when recording was done and when i want set slow motion speed the setting button not working.
Is there any guide for this?
Thank you everyone
#edit# i have this problem with all video files! Setting button has no functionality!! #
I think it's camera bug or 'slow motion' doesn't support some video formats. In some firmwares there were that problems. You can flash another firmware or install other camera app that supports slow motion.

Thank you for your answer
I want to know is every one phones same as me or not?
please some huawei p10 owners tell about their slow motion mode.
can you change slow motion speed or not ?
I had a similar problem but managed to find the solution. When I got my phone, I uninstalled/blocked all of the bloatware. Amongst these programs was also the Videos application, which I blocked. It appeared that this app was needed to edit the videos. Now that I have it unblocked everything is working fine again.
The slow motion and sometimes video recordings are unpredictable as for performance. I think the SLO-MO is bugus. Never worked for me, only intermittent..
Which video app do you mean ? by title and if I uninstall will the camera app still work. I will not be editing in my phone. I have fabulous slomo at hoghest frame rate but the other 2 speeds do not work. If I remove will ithey now work ? Also slo mo ar highest speed have no control over film captured action duration . Thought it would continue recording slomo till I pressed stop ?
Hope for answers for my P20 Pro
thanks
Hi,
Does the Note 8 have the dual shot camera mode found in other Samsung phones, where you can take pictures and video with both the front and back facing cameras at the same time?
I found myself using that mode the most on my Note 3, because I was always the one taking pictures and not appearing in any of them.
Thanks,
Daniel
Hello Daniel,
I just checked over all of my settings in the default camera app, and I did not find that feature.
Hi, It's not usually in the default modes, can you swipe from the left and try to add a new one, check if it's in the options from the market?
Thanks
It should do something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZJnBhcU3Eo
I'm familiar with the mode, but unfortunately, it is not a native option from Samsung. There are only 3 additional modes in the market: Fast Action, Animated GIF, and Rear Selfie, none of which will achieve the dual camera mode we are looking for. Sorry
i found a separate APK for this, if you are interested: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-8/help/dual-camera-mode-app-t3674266
I don't have the phone yet to test it out, but thank god for these people who mod out apps!
I downloaded the Dual Camera APK from APKMirror (the one that works as a plugin for Samsung Camera) and it works well. I've been using it for at least a month without trouble.
Cand it do Video and Pictures, or is it limited to just pictures?
Hello everybody, there is a new app called DuoVision Camera that records and takes picture from both front and back cameras simultaneously, and even has the retro frame with todays date. Check it out on playstore https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sec.android.app.camera.duovisioncamera&hl=en. Enjoy !
Hey.
Can anyone tell me if there is an app to increase the length of super slow motion video or use it more freely in general?
Cheers
No, because Super Super Slow Motion works thanks to a small memory chip attached to camera sensor, slow motion part can be only as long as long is this memory buffer - when you tap Slow Mo button in the app, it's not starting recording in Slow Mo, instead it flushes the already filled memory buffer to the video file - this is why some people complain about timing/lag.

Bummer ;/
It would be nice to be able to use Samsungs Galaxy S9 "start super slow motion recording on movement in configured area". It's the same sensor, may not be a hardware limitation.
I tried to install the galaxy apk file but installation failed.
i'd be also nice selecting different speeds.. don't know if either possible though.
Hi i see in picture mode you can do the full 100x zoom but video mode has been restricted to only 20x? why lol is there a way to bypass this or unlock the feature anyone have any luck? i got my phone yesterday the zoom is crazy on this phone now if the video had the same zoom it be even more crazy. What it needs is min at-least 30x zoom unlock since the lens is clear at this zoom so there must be a way to actually unlock that i would say.
You can always press and hold the photo shutter button and it will take a video instead, I think at only 1080p though.
In video mode at 100x zoom?

It took me literally 15 seconds to test that myself. Yes, it works at 100x.
Another way is to simply zoom in picture mode and use screen recorder to record the screen that works too at 100x zoom
