Hello everyone there!
Has anyone else here tried the LiveBoot App which lets you have dmesg & logcat bootanimation at the beginning of your bootup? We'll, I purchased the app since it worked on all my previous devices. It would be great if someone can provide a solution here for the app not executing the bootanimation although all permissions (including root) are enabled. When I load the application, I see the toast saying 'LiveBoot was granted Superuser permissions'. But the actual program doesn't execute (including the test run). Other configurations for my phone are as follows:
Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra (12GB+512GB)- purchased from China
Bootloader Status: Unlocked
Current ROM: Xiaomi.eu ROM (v.12.5.17.0)
Rooted through: Magisk
TWRP installed: Yes
Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks and regards,
Siddhesh

1. EU --> Things like google assistant, and Transalations and anything non-Chineese is better fixed here.
https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/how-is-this-different-than-miui-com.18629/
2. Available but issues currently, better stick with MIUI8 for exposed for now
3. Raise request with xiaomi to unblock bootloader --7 days wait at max --> unlock using Mi tool--> flash twrp -- > voila
4. Yes. You would need to flash superSU / Magisk in Xiaomi EU site everytime.
Thanks if i have other question i write here. Thanks
Everyone here seems excited so there's alot of different information floating around. Anyone who owns the china mi 11 ultra please give description on how you successfully installed eu rom. I see there's a twrp listed on the eu site, is there currently a proper root method?

Yes, but it's a big process and always does not work.
I have the same problem
Redmi Note 10 Pro - MIUI 12.5.1
Last night I updated my device and it presented the same problem mentioned above, and the only way I got it was using the Google background app. The problem is that this way I can't specifically select which background to use, being limited to the last choice I made.
In the same way that the friend mentioned, I tried to install the apk (procedure I did to activate the superwallpaper function in the menu) but I was unsuccessful, and a message came up saying that the application is already installed natively on the device, and if I wanted to proceed. Continuing the procedure, the message that appeared was that the application was not installed.
I just wanted to have the options of super wallpapers again on my device
Just search for SuperWallpaper_ALPHA_V2.6.228-04122107-ogl.apk install it, reboot the phone and you will have Super Wal
Thanks bro, I did what you recommended and found a group on the telegram that shares updated apk and found a newer version of the alpha superwallpaper installer.
So, in my case, problem solved.

I never had it in the first place?? on my Redmi note 10 pro (UK) and i've just had the global update to MIUi 12.5...Still not there? oh and the bastard 10 second AOD is still forced!
I want to root my Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro but didn't really manage to find any guide here on how to do it.
I rooted all my devices until now so I know the general drill.
As far as I know I must get TWRP and install it on the device using the fastboot adb tool and then install magisk from TWRP.
Is there any generally known guide that works I can use?
I am afraid mostly of getting the wrong TWRP version.
At the moment I only unlocked my bootloader from the developer settings.
Model: M2101K6G
MIUI Version: MIUI Global 12.5.1 Stable, 12.5.1.0(RKFEUOR)
Android Version: 11 RKQ1.200826.002
Security update: 2021-09-01
Baseband version: .3.c5-00123-0915_2330_283cc94d60
Kernel version: 4.14.180-perf-gc5bece796cb5
Purchased in Romania
I also noticed there are multiple versions of the device(sweet, mojito...etc), what is the difference between them?
EDIT1: I found out how to find the codename of my device, it's sweet
For anyone wondering how to do it, just install Device info HW and check under System the value of Device

Hi guys,
i have a Xiaomi Mi 11 - EU Rom; TWRP installed, rooted, Magisk installed and debloated. I want to install Fake Store from F-Droid, to replace the G.-Playstore (com.android.vending). Even with the Magisk Modules it isn´t possible for me to install the "Fake Store". Are there further dependencies to the vending-package, I missed to uninstall?
Help is very much appriciated!
Thanks a lot!
