If i rollback to EMUI 8, then i unlock bootloader using HCU Client, i root and then i update back to EMUI 10, will it be still rooted? Can you explain how it works? What can i do and what i can't?

You can look at this thread. Its have guides to unlock your bootloader and how to install TWRP also updating firmware. https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10/how-to/guide-manual-updgrade-to-update-oreo-t3758286
But beware, unlocking bootloader will do a factory reset. Backup your data first using hisuite or twrp. Otherwise your data will gone forever.

So i used FH to rebrand and install the Android 9 Beta version on my P20 Pro.
During this i had to unlock the bootloader. So now, whenever i restart my phone, it warns me about not being safe. Could this also be why Google Pay does not work?

I used Funky Huawei to install the Android beta. I want to downgrade but can't do it via FH as I can not change the DNS of my router.
I read about doing it with an SD card but the P20 doesn't have one.
How can it be done?

I was able to use FH and HiSuite to downgrade to 8.1.
Please can anyone help me with downgrade from emui 9 to emui 5 without bootloader code?or with getting bootloader code on emui 9?
You cannot downgrade without unlocked bootloader. To get an unlock code look at DC Phoenix for example, but it's a paid service.

thanks, but dc unlocker works only on emui 5 thats why i want to downgrade
EMUI 10 has relocked my bootloader and the fastboot command doesn't work with it.
Under what version of EMUI Do I have to return to be able to use fastboot to unlock my bootloader, 8.1, 9.0 or 9.1?
P.S TOOL_ALL_IN_ONE_2.0.0.9 not working on EMUI 10.

Does your bl have status locked or relocked?
Does <Fastboot oem unlock "unlock code" > work? (i assume not, just to confirm)
Is "enable oem unlock" in developer options on?

Now there is a way to leave the project because my phone wants to reinstall EMUI 10.

EMUI 10 beta locks bootloader on Mate 10 Pro too and also Mate 20,i think.
You should be able to leave the project from the Beta app.

So the beta locked your bootloader and rolling back unlocked it?? Did you have to unlock it again yourself or did it just unlock??
