I've been trying for 2 days now and keep getting stuck on a fastboot bootloop. I have to flash a stock image to fix it.

Some people have tried since the Beta. Some builds worked, some builds doesn't. Now that Android 12 is official, just wait for it.

Have you tried the Magisk Canary build?
Can confirm. Latest Magisk Canary works on Android 12. I'm using Fullscreen Gestures module. Zygisk is also enabled, no idea what app to test Zygisk with yet.

Are you sure you're using Magisk Canary? Mine is fine. I have a few modules installed already. Canary is not in the official repo. It's a pre-release build.
Magisk Canary build is here:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/topjohnwu/magisk-files/canary/app-debug.apk
I also used the boot.img from latest official firmware package from Google here:

What version you are using? Go to Settings - Magisk Hide
There's been no new Magisk release recently...
There's the new beta, but that's not intended as a daily driver but for testing and aiding in the development until the next release.
If your using the beta, expect issues...
As I know you need pass safetynet first, then will appear
Thanks everyone I downloaded the older version.

Magisk Hide aims to hide root for SafetyNet, so this doesn't make sense
I'm running OOS 3.5.4 on my Oneplus 3T with the latest Magisk but safetynet is not working. How can I fix it?

Never write "the latest". Write the actual version. There might have been an update while you post...
At the moment it doesn't matter, because there seems to have been an update to SafetyNet (and the Magisk forums are a mess because of everyone posting "it doesn't work").
When asking for help, if you have a possibility to provide a log, so so (Magisk log in your case).
SafetyNet Fix for Jasmine
this module will allow you to Pass SafetyNet on custom ROMs with latest Pie fingerprint and access to all apps on Google Play that you can access on Stock

Yes, if you pass Safetynet
This will work for the latest version of LineageOS for MicroG ?
Nebrassy, I don't know how long that creation was, but this is priceless! I have passed SafetyNet easily, with others I had bootloops or no network.
Samsung Galaxy S6 (G920F) + LineageOS 16 from 14.09.2019 + MindTheGApps 15.06.2019 + Magisk 19.3

Nope..it's not available.
No buds compatibility included. Can someone pull the buds APK from the stable and upload it?
This changelog is lame, time for 11 beta already
Google Pay broken?
Is anyone else having issues with Google Pay?
I'm getting an error saying that the device is rooted or running an uncertified software.
EDIT: looks like SafetyNet is failing.

I am on OB17 and Safety Net passed. I don't use Google Pay so I cannot comment. I am stock, no root.
I am having bootloop issue on oneplus7pro with OOS openbeta 17 after flashed Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip,it was working on openbeta16,anyone here facing the same issue?
Did someone update with Magisk and system update yet (using TWRP Retention.zip)?
My phone is rooted and I have a custom kernel installed, is it safe to update?
I'm having bootloop on ob17 using latest twrp and magisk canary, modules disabled, stock kernel. Boots fine if magisk is uninstalled.

The only other thing that changed recently is an update to Google Play Services (beta).
Can you confirm which version you've got there?
EDIT: ignore, downgraded Google Play Services to latest stable version and still failing.
Not sure what went wrong, but I guess the only solution is a factory reset at this point
Thanks!
W.
@Oswald Boelcke @Funk Wizard
I'm new on op7/p forums but I'm coming from op5 and they have dedicated pinned threads for all OB/Stable builds instead individual ones for each new build.
Is possible to have this? Is there any volunteer?

I use Magisk for a few things, notably to setup tethering for my grandfathered unlimited plan. Curious if you had any luck with Magisk and, if so, how did you set it up?
Thanks!
Eric
I've tried and failed.
Magisk manager fails at the 'repacking' stage when attempting to patch boot.img.
This is using either release or Canary versions of the magisk APK, and using the boot.img extracted from the official Pixel 5 Factory image. I've even tried running Magisk manager from a different device.
I hope we can figure this out soon, as I can't really start using the Pixel 5 as my main phone until it's rooted.
Bump
For me the Canary Version 21005 worked.
Downloaded it (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/topjohnwu/magisk_files/canary/app-debug.apk), changed the release channel to Canary in the app aswell and patched the original boot.img from the factory image.

Hello everyone I'm not used to post anything on forums. But this time i'm stuck big time. It's been four days since began to try to root my newly updated phone but I must miss something because i can't get anything working. I've tried the few methods i could find but none of them work. If someone got an idea or a life saving post on any serious android website, it is very welcome.
Thanks to anyone who will help in advance.
try the latest canary build, others have said that works on OneUI 4.
you should keep any modules zips you want as you can download them in the canary build..
