Has anyone had any issue with the battery draining out rapidly overnight when the phone is in idle without any apps running. My battery remains around 75% before I go to sleep but the next day morning it drops to below 30%........am confused :S

Maybe you were really running apps, or some of them started updating.
You really need to check up on your phone activity.

It's not possible without any logical reason, and this one can only be an app running in idle wich can't even go CPU to sleep.
It's pretty simple to search for the issue, just need an app such as "CPU Spy" who can help you to find WHAT is draining your battery.
Before do it, I advice you to test it without charger (evident ) let us know

Your phone is not getting into deep sleep. There might be some apps giving wakelocks or kernel wakelocks. Install better battery stats and cpu spy from market and identify the culprit!

probably it is because of the samsung push service. froze it with titanium back up or uninstall it.
Hi all, i got this phone for my girlfriend, expecting awesome battery life...but it turned out is less then awesome...a day and a half with light usage...draining around 10-15% overnight. i can't post screenshots but the battery utilization says that around 30% battery usage is made by system. It is the global version running MIUI 8 Global stable 8.2.9.0 if i remember correctly...any hint on how to get better battery life?
I am getting great battery life with this phone. I am on latest Global 8.2.12.0 version.
As I type this on my redmi 4, battery stats shows 5+ hours of screen on time and its been 1 day 9 hours since full charge and still 45% battery left

use Security App in MIUI
Try Formatting the device... or If you're on Official MIUI ROM try security option.. clean junk, stop background apps etc. etc.
Try reboot your device after full charge. I think it cannot go into deepsleep after charging. It is a error wich also happens in redmi 3s. But when you Start your phone again after charging it might be better.
As the screenshot, my phone hardly ever goes into deep sleep, I have accubattery installed and I installed better battery stats to check for any unusual wakelocks but everything seems normal.
Settings :
Bluetooth always on connected to mi band
GPS always on but I hardly ever use it as the ss shows
Connected to wifi most of the time.

Is AOD on? I've had AOD on and the device never slept last night. It was only last night that I thought of measuring the drain overnight as I've been noticing an abnormal standby drain. In eight hours of sleep, my phone "slept" for only 14 mins. Tonigt I'll test the standby drain with AOD turned off and report back

Well AOD turns off at midnight automatically, so I'm pretty sure it's not the reason.

Well, here it is. Still not going to standby mode, still draining hard when not being used. I'm on MIUI 10.2.12 global stable,, btw.

It's similar on my old s7, but that phone drains only 2 to 4% overnight with aod off
Try reeboot phone. Also update to the latest stable its help for my battery drain

Already on latest global stable, and I've already rebooted the phone quite a few times now. Losing 30%+ overnight is something lol

Try to turn on airplane mode while sleeping, that fixed the issue for me.
The phone for some reason is awake searching for networks

Well XiaomiEU ROM works good for the battery despite having some weird small UI bugs. Phone is sleeping now. I still prefer having a locked bootloader and an encrypted device, but battery is on a higher priority than that.

I am experiencing huge battery drain (20-25%) every night.
I am with pixel experience since Wednesday on Mi 10T (android 11).
I have installed BBS and I see that the phone is in awake (screen off) state almost all of the time.
I don't understand much the app so can someone tell me from the screenshots what can be causing the problem.

I tried PixelOS recently both 12.1 and 13 I seem to be getting buggy deep sleep even after restarting. I did a clean flash of both ROMs using the builds provided by the developer still had the same issue. I recently installed RiceDroid V8.6 phone seems to be going into DS state and the drain is low but consistent. One night I got only a 1% battery drain after 7 hours the next 2 hours I got a 7% battery drain in 2 hours (the phone was also in DS state ) Any idea what could be causing this inconsistency? The BB on it seems better than PixelOS Tho.
Any recommendations or suggestions will help. I haven't rooted my phone for any modules as well.
Also if anyone is using RiceDroid it shows ~20W fast charging. Shouldn't it be 33ish Watts when charging from around 10-15% and the battery is cold?
