[Q] Problem with power management (Android Wear)

At least I'm *assuming* it's a problem with power management...
1. WhatsApp Web interface. This doesn't appear to work unless the phone it turned on and unlocked. It will work for a short while after the screen is turned off, but then it stops working again.
2. Android Wear - This doesn't appear to connect to the P9, unless the phone it turned on and unlocked. It will work for a short while after the screen is turned off, but then it stops working again. Even when the screen is turned on it takes 20-30 seconds to start up communications again. By that stage I might as well use my phone instead of my watch.
I'm assuming this is Huawei's extreme app killing, power management system. I've turned on "Protected apps" for all apps. But this obviously has not cured the issue.
Can anyone sympathise, or even better, offer a solution? Is this problem cured by Nougat?
I have my L19 P9 working perfectly fine with my moto 360 2015 by set android wear app to ignore battery optimization in setting

Bluetooth not enabling on EMUI 5.0.2

Bluetooth isn't working on my P9. I've tried restarting the phone, toggling airplane mode on and off, checking that apps aren't automatically turning it off. I'm out of ideas on how to fix it. When I try to turn it on anywhere in the system, it starts off dimming as if it'll turn on, but then I either go out of the Bluetooth section in the system settings and see that it's still off, or close and reopen the notification shade and see that the Bluetooth shortcut is either still dimmed or still off.
My phone is model number EVA-L09, running EMUI version 5.0.2 and Android version 7.0.

I've got a slight idea as to a possible reason that Bluetooth isn't working on my phone. My idea is that as lots of the stock apps are missing, that could mean that some internal files could be missing too, such as the ones that would allow Bluetooth to work, or at the very least, turn on.

Android Pie Screen Lock with On/Off Button and Screen Timeout Lock

Hello Everyvone,
since i've upgraded to EMUI 9 i'm searching the option to disable the screenlock by pressing the on/off button.
Sometimes i disable my screen just for seconds and want to came back without need to unlock it.
Until Android 8 there was an option for this in every Android version. But where can i find this now in Android 9?
Same problem is with Screen Lock by timeout. Normaly after screen timeout i configured 3min where the device was not already locked. So with just pressing on/off i could have came back without unlocking again.
Any ideas how to get this back now?
Yeah the brainiacs at Huawei removed this with the Emui 9 update, it is still possible in stock Android 9 afaik. Now you can't set any time limit or anything, just instant lock when the screen turns off whether it is by pressing the power button or after your chosen time. Really annoying but not surprising. I wonder if this is to force us to use fingerprint unlocking, which I don't use because... Huawei.

Home button animation after Android Auto install

So I was just messing about with my phone. Using it, you know? (that's what you're supposed to do with a phone, right?)
When all of a sudden, I realize that when pressing the home button, I get the home button animation that is on Pixel and most Android 8.1 devices.
After searching a bit, it seems to be related to installing and setting up Android Auto.
It also seems to go away after a reboot and come back again when you open Android Auto. A little trick for you all!

If I turn off the car and turn it back on, android auto won't work

Hi,
If I turn off the car and turn it back on, android auto won't work. I need to restart the phone. With another phone where Android auto is not in developer mode it doesn't. Is that possible? At the first start everything is ok, but if I turn off and restart the car the phone connects only via bluethoot and not via cable unless I restart it and sometimes I have to restart uconnect as well. advice?
thanks,
Mariodm
