anyone have any luck getting the ESPN Scorecenter to work and not keep looking for an internet connection? I would think there would be an easy fix...unless ESPN has to be the one to do it.
let me know. thanks!
Update to the latest version, Scorecenter 1.1.0 version 92 is correct this problem for me.
This is bizarre. I have ScoreCenter on my phone, it works great. Tried to install a few days ago on my gtab, it didn't work. With the update it now works, but.... When I launched it it said I was logged in to MYESPN as "Kenny Wheaton." Um, no? I logged out, then started trying to add teams. There were all sorts of teams added that wouldn't be default teams, so I deleted them as I added mine--then they would come back and mine would disappear, in bits and pieces. Clearly two of us were somehow editing one profile. I uninstalled, and am now feeling a bit weirded out.

I had this happen too! When I installed it, it was automatically logged in to an account. Not sure if it was the same as yours. I tried to change favourite teams from ones that I thought were default. Mine would quickly disappear, and others would appear.
I found it quite unnerving, and quickly uninstalled it.
If you read the comments on the market, the latest update seriously hosed the entire program. Tons of complaints. Looks like we have to just wait ESPN to fix it.
Mine is crashing immediately as well. Tried uninstall/re install with no success.
Hello guys. I just intalled official pie update that came yesterday on my phone via OTA.
However I forgot to uninstall goodlock 2018 (im from EU and therefore its not officialy available) I had navstar (I added different buttons) and task changer turned on.
After installing Pie, these features are no longer available on my phone (in good lock app they appear blocked and I cant update them).
BUT since they were not turned off, now im stuck with them and I cant turn it off (the buttons from navstar are still there even after uninstal). I tried uninstalling but they still apear.
The result is that its now crashing with Pie ONE UI and experience home keeps crashing. I have temporarily added different launcher and its works, but if I go back to home experience, it starts lagging and crashing again.
What can I do? Can I officialy revert back to oreo, remove goodlock and then install pie again? Or is there other way to do it?
I have once heard that you must never uninstall goodlock features without turning them off first because they cause problems afterwards and it seems this is the case here.
Would appreciate any help here, the phone with default home experience launcher is useless because of crashing.
you could try a factory reset....

I had good lock too with nearly all mods being used and switched on, after update, other than my phone looking like crap, it's not caused any actual issues like you describe.
I don't use navstar though and I use ruthless launcher so maybe that's why.
Have you uninstalled each individual module? Rather than just the good lock app itself?
If so your only options are either wait for good lock to be updated, or a factory reset, I say a reset is always best after a major version update anyway, although I can't be arsed doing that myself yet
Well it seems that deleting Home Experience data fixed the issue. Thanks for the replies though.
On side note I realy dislike new recent apps. Task changer in good lock was miles miles better. If you watched something in youtube and went into recent apps it kept playing in background, here it leaves any app and scrolling isnt nearly as smooth. Hopefuly they add it back for pie because right now I sort of regret upgrading.
After my update on AT&T yesterday, I have persistent handles on left and right as well as the edge handle that is usable in the upper left. Anyone know how to get rid of these? I tried turning off edge panels and they still show. Also I have tried the transparency trick, no good there either. Is this a known "upgrade" or a known issue? Thanks in advance.
Disable One Hand Operation + for those handles
Do any of you know how to get multi window to work? It seems to be gone.

Well...it's a launcher, called ruthless haha. Just Google it and you'll find the XDA page, it's a branch off from the original rootless launcher, basically it's a pixel launcher but with lots of extra settings.
I am on the us carrier AT&T. I am using the snapdragon model. I took the OTA yesterday and I left goodlock 2018 installed and all the addons enabled.
I am not getting any of the issues you described. The good lock app just shows all the mods as "disconnected". One hand operation and edge lighting are still working.

Thanks mate, been scratching my head trying to get rid of those 2 bars. They were about the same height as the keyboard and pressing near a bar made it freeze for a few seconds. Cheers
Im on S8 exynos pie Beta 3. Task changer is not working. Even with badlock. Is this working for anyone of you?
Hello, since last update with miui 12 I can't update Chrome anymore and that Andrioid System WebView. Any ideas how I can solve it or need to wait for another miui update? I tried to clear data, uninstall(though it doesn't uninstall completely).
Keyboard sometimes stops working properly. To deal with keyboard I have to close it using 'back' button then start editing my post again. It's quite annoying and my friend having the MI9 as well seems to running into that issue. Any ideas how to deal with that? Is Gboard faulty under Miui 12? I had one app in miui 11 that to login into I had to switch to 3G rather than use LTE(took me a while to figure out). It's an app from my network provider so I can check there how much money is left, or the GBs for Internet as turn on some services.
That app is working now fine but it got new update recently with new interface and stuff(and I don't want to update it, because it's not working properly and the interface is much worse). Is there anyway to make it disappear from updates page so I accidentally will not update it? Already had to download it from APK mirror once...
Thanks in advance for any replies.
I just got my 5a yesterday. After updating to Android 12, the weather stopped working. I had to add a widget to the home screen to see the weather. Now I have 2 dates on my screen. Is there any way to fix this?

Are you running stock? I had that issue by using the old Magisk and the old saftynet fix on my 3a XL. Leaving my 5a on Android 11 till 12 is improved or something cause I am finding it hard to like A12.
Yes it's stock. The way I fixed was, I made a second account under multiple users. Then I switched back to my original, deleted the second accounts, it's been fixed ever since...
I just got a Zenfone 8, and I updated it to Android 12 (UL-I006D-ASUS-31.1010.0410.43-1.1.25-2202-user.zip). I installed Nova Launcher, and I cannot widgets.
Video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10N5oYJ3oG_wWFjtLtrKT5C0awkV49P75/view?usp=sharing
Looking at Nova's logs, I see:
Code:
java.lang.NullPointerException: Attempt to read from field 'com.android.server.appwidget.AppWidgetServiceImpl$ProviderId com.android.server.appwidget.AppWidgetServiceImpl$Provider.id' on a null object reference
So, it seems ASUS's Android 12 build is missing something from its settings app.
Does anyone else have an issue adding widgets? I tried Lawnchair and have the same issue. ASUS Launcher obviously works fine.

I have experienced no problems adding widgets with the same firmware version: neither on Nova nor on Microsoft launcher.

Really? Weird. I've had issues on Nova and Lawnchair.
Could it have something to do with my phone being rooted?
There's lot I can try, it's curious that I'm having this issue though. Clearly, I'm doing something wrong, but I don't know what.

Mu guess is that you accidentally uninstalled an essential app while debloating. Could that be the case?
I didn't "debloat," per se. Though I guess I did disable some apps that I don't use. I didn't think I disabled anything too important, but I can check that.

Actually NTI, the same thing just happening to me without root on my ZP8.
I've been on A12 for a couple weeks, but my battery life was dismal. So yesterday, I decided to do a factory reset. Battery life improved, but now I cannot place widgets in third-party launchers. (The launcher app's stock widgets do seem to work, but that's it.)
I attached a quick video showing the issue. (Side note – notice how mine says, "Settings has stopped" when I try to add a widget.)
The real pain is this did not happen until I factory reset the other day. In other words, I was able to place widgets in Nova on Android 12 without issue.
I reached out to Nova, who told me that this is an issue with all third-party launchers on the Zenfone 8 running A12. I then tried placing a widget on a few others and found the same problem.
Nova then sent me to talk to Asus, who told me, "Sadly we wouldn't be able to assist with a 3rd party launcher."
5-star response. Anyway, I'm just glad to see others bringing this up. Hopefully Asus makes a fix for the bug.

I switched to using Niagara Launcher, and I am happy and am able to live without widgets... but it would be nice to use them. I assumed re-installing Android 12 would fix it, but I didn't try that. I'm hoping ASUS eventually pushes a new Android 12 build, and that installing that will fix whatever is missing.
In my video, I have the same issue where it says "settings has stopped."
EDIT:
So, I went to ASUS' website and found the download for Android 12 (WW-31.1010.0410.43). And in the description, I see:
This upgrade patch only allows to upgrade from Android 11 WW-30.12.112.72, WW-& 30.12.112.82 versions to Android 12.

I don't know what version of Android 11 was on the phone when I got it. I got the phone, booted it up, skipped through the setup screen and immediately upgraded to Android 12. Then I unlocked the bootloader, thus factory resetting the phone and then I went though the setup for real. After that, I installed Magisk.
So, maybe I needed to upgrade to the latest Android 11 first? But, that makes no sense as the Android 12 upgrade worked. No idea why I (and you) are having this issue and others aren't.

I'm not sure. But it's super frustrating because I was on A12 without an issue like this. As far as I know, only the Asus ZenUI Launcher allows me to have widgets now.
What part of a factory reset—weeks after I installed the latest update—would cause widgets to stop working in third-party launchers? So annoying. Lol
