Hello everyone ... I just bought a mi9 lite and I would like to know that witch is the best custom rom for this phone ..
.
,Thank you
Well, I cant tell You which one is the best, but I've installed Lineage 17.1 and I'm so happy about that. I love it. Good old "slide from bottom" interface, great response time, nice UI, no crappy bloatware. Yeah, it was damn worth it!

Hey guys!
I've been away awhile and I was trying to find which ROM was the most stable for Manila...but there's sooo much to read!! Wow, a lot's been going on here.
I'll be honest, I just don't have the time to weed out the best rom...
If anyone is so inclined and can be nice and has been keeping up to date on the new ROMs, can you please care to direct me to which ROM you believe is currently the best?
Thanks for your desire to help me out!!

Well, im afraid to tell you but this is all a personal preference. Different roms have different pre-packaged software. There is no such thing as the "Best" ROM . Its which one is Best for YOU.
It takes all of 15 minutes to download and install one...... just see which flavor suits ya best
On that note, I use L26M2DV4 and its pretty nice. Ive also heard HDIII M2D is good as well.
I've been flashing like crazy... from G-DK4 to everything but my best pick is HyperDragon III Jade +Manila 2D
Super Fast no bugs so far, battery is good , GPS fast
btw
AT&T in San Juan Puerto Rico
Thanks for the vote karlospr!
Much appreciated
Gotta check out PDACorners Versions as well, it rates right at the top .

Rupy's is the best IMHO
I have been burning M2D's for some time, including NATF, PDACorner, & Hyperdragon, but have found that RRE V5.9 is the best out. I realize that some will complain that it has too slow of a startup time, but how often do you really reset your phone. It is EXTREMELY stable and is suprisingly lite for what you get. You can find it below:
Rupy's Thread
unfortunately Rupy has called it quits on TILT roms as he has gotten the fuze, but give it a shot, i am very happy with it.
Hi,
ive been looking around and installed a few roms over the past few weeks and im trying to find one i like and that i can install and enjoy for a while. i want somethings thats got good speed, but also nice user interface to it and attractive, i like the touch flo 3d, and do like the ability to customize and i also like the facebook app for my contacts,
so what is a good rom that someone might no about for me ? thanks heeps Jim.
definately touch 10.9.1 there is a thred here in the main page. get it! awesome, stable, fast, great user interface. you wont regret it
x2 rom for the x1.. very stable and fast(if you know how to speed up your phone).. been using this rom and I'm very satisfied.. cuz it remains xperia's specialities.. search for x2 R7A-016 within this forum.. it's the latest version
you did a good start, continue with your approach
but this thread is definitely redundant
Its great to see that you guys are still working on a 3 year old smartphone and i like it.
But i would like to know if any of you would like to make a rom like s8 a clean touchwiz port ,i know its kind of not possible but would love to see a last rom like this and also miui8 ,thanks chippa for working on it, would love to see your work on it soon.
Thanks.
Bored with aosp lineage based roms .

You have an ORD as much of us here. The only cure (if there's such thing) is using an apple phone. Many already did that, but after some time they bought again an Android. What I do, I use only Los currently Los 17.1. No major bugs, a good daily driver. I can't use anything than aosp for much time, in this case miui ROMs. At the time the devs abandon this device you probably already bought alot of other devices, so don't bother about ROMs support for this device. Check for help here instead.

Hi, I have my only good phone which is this redmi note 11. I was wondering if its worth it to flash custom rom and use it as a daily drive either flashing it pixelplusui or pixel experience. Is it gonna make the phone better to use or worsen the experience of this phone.
For me yes you should switch to a custom ROM. MIUI for this device is too nerfed and bugged to begin with. As for experience that depends on your preferred ROM and your device variant (as of now custom ROMs on 4/64 variants too laggy). I personally use Pixel Experience and it definitely made my experience better and what I deserve
Indeed, switching to a custom ROM would improve your experience. I switched to PixelPlus UI because MIUI has so many bugs, flaws, and sporadic app crashes. It was the best decision I ever made. When I flashed the PixelExperience rom, I thought it was a little jittery to use, but PixelPlus UI was the second rom I flashed after that, and it was the best one. I found it to be a lot smoother than PE. I haven't tried EvolutionX or Derpfest, but I plan to someday.
i wouldn't recommend it , i see loads saying yeah do it and then complain about all the bugs in it . have a look at the custom rom posts and see for yourself .
I use latest CrDroid on 4/64 variant and I am 100% satisfied. It's worth to give it a go, or to try some other roms as well. You can always go back to miui if you don't like the experience afterall...

Hi Cykip,
If I was to go down custom rom route, I would defo go with what MarvavCZE said... I love CrDroid, have used it for ages on various other devices and it's perfect for me. The amount of pre built-in rom tweaks are amazing, far more than most other roms... I love it, best distro ever....
However, much like The Mero said... I am very happy with stock rom for the time being. This phone is too new (barely 2x weeks old), modern device, and compared to my other phones more expensive. So I am happy with how it works and behaves for now.
Perhaps in a year or two, I may consider it... buts stock for me for time being
Lister of Smeg
lister is right , phone is too new to have a decent custom rom . it can take months or years to fix bugs .
but if you have an old phone try installing one on that . you'll learn how to do it and if it goes badly at least you wont have wrecked your new one
Xiaomi did not yet release the kernel source code officially, I can only recommend to wait until that happens and official custom roms for this device become hyped. Until then, you cannot expect a daily driver.

Mate look, everyone know Xiaomi stock UI is worst and it's a master copy of IOS. I was facing a number of issues. Flickering, refresh rate jitters, stupid google dialer plus a lot other that I forgot lol
I went with ppui and cherish is but no gcam module was working on em. Now I'm on rice droid and it is smooth as butter
