[q] help htc one dual sim update

Hi,
I just bought HTC ONE Dual Sim. I didn't know that you cannot update the software prior to buying it.
I stuck with it. Is there a way to update the phone. I just an ordinary girl. I don't really understand the technical part.
Is there a video how to do it? Is there hope on updating my phone to 4.2.2?

Your phone will get updated OTA to 4.2.2 . Just check for updates ( or wait for awhile. You will get a notification about a system update)

There no software update menu in the phone. So I cannot check it. What do you mean by OTA updates? Will it automatically pop up in the future that there is an update?

hi everyone.. i recently bought a used htc m8 and it is already rooted and therefore i cannot get the OTA lollipop update..
it is running android revolution HD 8.1 and clockworkmod..
I have no idea about rooting and unrooting and what the names i just mentioned above mean.. someone please help me get back to stock firmware... or help me convert my phone into google play edition lollipop...

Lost os and need to get it back to use my phone again

Hi, I have the HTC Desire 510 for sprint 32-bit version. I had rooted it and my os mysteriously disappeared. I was able to get the nosense rom on my phone but it is for cricket wireless. Can anyone help me to get a rom that can work with the sprint network. Can anyone please help me.

Hello Bladefirelement and welcome to the forums,
If you want stock you can use the updated Stock RUU.
If you want to try a custom ROM, you can try one of the Raptor ROMs here and here. A little bit of searching has to be done for the newest NonSense 1.04 ROMs but they can be used for Cricket as well as Sprint and its MVNOs. They can be found here.

Would like to seek for your help again guys. I have an S4 Active (AT&T Native) and had already rooted and unlocked. I would like to ask if it this is possible to update to Lollipop and retain the unlock option. And if this device is still possible to update to lollipop. kindly give me your insights. Pls Pls Pls I need help to rebrand my sm-g295a so I can upgrade OTA. Stuck on 5.0.2

Please I need help this is so sad, I use and unlock unlocked AT&T G s6 edge and I don't get updates over the air, pls someone help me on how I can upgrade to nougat or simply debrand. It's annoying since all my friends using same phone are on nougat please help. :crying:
