Pre-patched Magisk boot img for OOS 9.0.2

Here is the pre patched boot.img for OxygenOS 9.0.2. Save someone a couple of minutes of downloading and patching etc. Hope it helps save a couple minutes of time for someone.

BootLoop after installing (abd/fastboot) Boot.img. Need help!

HI there, so after patching the Boot.img with Magiskv23, it seems as if flashing it with ABD/Fastboot causes the bootloop. I had to flash to flash the stock boot.img back. Any advices? As I research this seems to be an issue with the fix being "I made some investigation and checked that replacing the file in the Magisk-v21.4.zip/arm/magiskboot with the magiskboot from v21.0 and flashing that one fixes the problem." But I have no idea how it'd work.
My device used to work with Magiskv21 until I updated my device and it has to be rooted again. So I got the stock boot.img file, patched it adb/fastboot flash it into the device (same method as before) and it causes bootloop.
If you experience a bootloop, attach a dmesg (kernel logs) when the device refuse to boot. This may very likely require a custom kernel on some devices as last_kmsg or pstore ramoops are usually not enabled by default.
HOW do I do this?
In addition, please also upload the result of cat /proc/mounts when your device is working correctly WITHOUT ROOT.
I can't go back to unrooting it, as I still want to keep my data on the device. Is there any way I could attach this without unrooting it?
If you experience issues during installation,
boot.zip
in recovery, upload the recovery logs, or in Magisk, upload the install logs. Please also upload the boot.img or recovery.img that you are using for patching.
Will include both stock boot.img, and stable and v23001 patched files.

Have you tried looking through your device's forum here on XDA? That's usually a good resource for issues like this. If nothing else you can get help from users that know the device.

Just a heads up to boot this file, and then install magisk through the app.
Do not flash this file. You'll bootloop.

Android 14 Developer Preview 2 root

On DP1 magisk was installed alright. When i updated to DP2 by removing -w flag from flash-all.bat. I can't get magisk to work by patching boot img via magisk and flashing it. Somehow volte/5g magisk module is working :O Is anyone having same promlem or know how to fix this?

Nope, I had the same result with the 14 Developer Preview.
We probably have to wait for a Magisk update.

Edit. Magisk manager says not installed but phone is rooted
Well... Swift backup app doesn't have root access
At least I can use banking apps now

SM-G970F Magisk says I have a ramdisk: yes = can't patch recovery.img

Hi y'all,
I had thought that my XZ1C was a pain to root, but apparently... Thanks in advance everyone.
I installed LOS 20 to my Samsung S10E without rooting it before. Now I would like to patch the compatible TWRP recovery with Magisk 26.1, and then flash it so I can has root.
Problem: Magisk 26.1 app says I have a ramdisk. So when I want to patch a file, it does not give me the option to "patch to recovery" (sorry, the formulation might be off).
I think going back to stock would allow Magisk to understand that "ramdisk: no", but I am not sure, and I would like not to have to redo everything from the start.
Anyone has a magisk patched TWRP recovery.img on hand please ?
