HI GUYS,
As we know moto g5/plus comes with a good camera in stock rom. But when we install custom roms like lineage os or RR
the camera comes with the system (snapdragon camera) is unable to capture good quality photos and we search over play store for camera apps but they cant give performance like stock camera
so i have a solution for this ..............
LENOVO SNAP-IT camera for almost any device
This camera is stock camera extracted from lenovo device with the libs of lenovo ak6+
FEATURES:
1)Super quality HDR mode
2)front cam features - EP,poses for selfies
3)Pro mode ,Panorama, Art Nightspace ,Artistic HDR ,Portret mode ,Panorama selfie ,Golden Years
4)menuel focus , exposure control
PROCEDURE:
*METHOD 1*
1)Download the zip file from g drive link
2)GO to twrp and flash the zip file
3)wipe cashe/dalvik and reboot into system
*METHOD 2*
1)Extract the zip
2)copy all the files under libs folder and peste in DEVICE/SYSTEM/LIBS
3)copy the apk file and paste it in DEVICE/SYSTEM/APP
4)reboot the device

A mere camera app can never improve the camera quality. Its the camera HALs, blobs, post processing that is induced in the stock rom sources which help the camera realise its full potential.

Actually it is made with 100 % original libs so it can perform much grater then that of snapdragon camera.
Please take a look at camera samples I think you will be impress with quality
Those pics look good... EXIF info on them says Redmi 3S though?

I have used this camera in many devices
Like
1) Redmi 3s
2)micromax q380
3)moto g3
4)moto g5 ( which is actually my friend's and it is in cc due to hard were failure so I can't post pics from it)

So just to be 100% clear... you or your friend used Snapit on the G5 Plus (before you had hardware failures) and the photos from it definitely looked better than the stock camera app?
Or are you assuming they will be better?

Bro just be clear
I have already cleared that the camera can give same performance as stock cam on stock ROM
But the problem occur when you install any custom ROM on device the snapdragon camera comes with it can't give you performance like stock moto cam on custom ROM (and you can't install stock moto cam on custom ROM due to libs)
So this is the perfect solution to get stock cam quality in any custom rom

I'm sorry but stock cam mod is made for custom roms.. i havent used your files but just take a look at that mod too

Hey why are you using snapit instead of stock Moto camera and are these libs of stock Moto G5 plus or of some other phone
Not really that much better photos from the stock app. Camera app crashes and refuses to open if you hit the HDR button. Had to clear app data to get it open again.

I am currently using miui 9 beta rom from Xiaomi eu on my Mi Mix.
For the camera, I am getting really amazing results with the modified Google camera apk, the one with ported hdr+ from the Pixel.
It's useless at this point to ever lunch the stock camera, which is really awful.
I use very often the "double click the power button" from lock screen to get into the camera. This however launches the stock camera.
Is there any way to force MIUI to launch the Google camera instead?

try button mapper... or similar apps from store, no root, root or xposed.. depending wich level modification u want...

I was looking for the same thing a few days ago didn't solve it and moved to ViperOS rom.
Maybe it can work if someone finds a specific MIUI file with the camera path shortcut on it, I have no idea where to start looking ...
So far even button remapper doesn't work for this

Either, then you will need build prop editor with root.
Enabled Hal3 via the build.prop - installed the camera app - fc's on opening. MIUI 9 Xiaomi EU rom

Can anyone share some feedback on this app working on custom ROMs for the Mix like LineageOS? With a custom ROM and a better and more customisable launcher like Nova Launcher for example, I think the integration and implementation of the Google Camera HDR+ app will be much better than on the stock MIUI ROM.

I installed the app. It is mostly unusable due to crashes. Bt when it works photos are flawless.
I have 3.4b installed, works better, no crashes, more configuration options available.

I tried that version it doesn't work. What device did you choose from the settings for hdr+. I tried it kept crashing.

its not working bruh ! tried every HDR+ mode but the App is getting stopped evertime I do this.
though if you still want to use the HDR+ mode choose from Pixel & when the app crashes..
1.long press the App Icon
2.Select take a selfie
3.Change to Rear Camera
it will work but its annoying :silly:

I've been using this for a 3 days now and it is pretty awesome! Thank you so much! Photos are way better than any modded cameras out there.
The only thing I've been struggling to fix now is the slow motion. It says "can't connect to the camera". I've tried basic fixes out of YouTube and tried flashing some fixes I found on the internet -esp. here in XDA but I am still out of luck.
I am 99% complete now on this camera, just the slow motion isn't working. I am using Xiaomi Redmi 4x running Resurrection Remix 5.8.5-20170929-santoni-Final
I surely will wait for your help.

Thank you so much. I'll look forward to it. And one more thing as I am currently playing with the cam right now, 60FPS also won't work on my device. I have replaced media_profiles.xml and set the necessary permissions but it also says "can't connect to the camera"
Camera App crashes after making any changes in settings . I have done everything dats recomended but nothing helps .

Are you using magisk root? Uninstall the stock camera first via any system app remover. Secondly, Try flashing camera 2 api module. Then download the modded camera on this thread. Works for me (except slow motion and 60fps video -but fix will be coming soon as per dev.)

Install camera2api enabler module. Then install the gcam attached on OP. Reboot and done

Same happened with me too.
I was on stock rom BTW.
I reverted back to stock media_profiles.xml
But the stock miui camera supports the slo-mo and works quite fine at a speed of x0.25

Check the issue with other rom. If its not fixed then your rear camera module has not been attached properly.

I have flash fastboot rom latest miui global dev, still cant connect to camera, and when i check to CIT, it is unknown.
I think my camera module was broke
ANX Camera crashes when I try to open it, ive got the extra files for it and the fixes but still can't get it to work.

I'm using pixel experience rom and anx 148 I think, whatever the latest was at the time I downloaded
Use 1.37 version
use this modules "ANXCameraUnity_139.PastAdorableHawaiianmonkseal.zip" and "ANXCustLibs_141.DarkorangeKindDikdik.zip"
For abhishek's LOS take V139 and 48MP Fix V127. But it doesn't work on Pixel experience.

I am on Pixel experience plus rom, i use mentioned ANX modules and i dont see any issues (unless 4k video and front camera led and video), i flashed via twrp.
I tried same ANX modules on syberia rom and everything works.
I flashed these roms over indian firmware 10.3.5.0 ( i did not flash Chinese vendor)
