IronMan-Rom for the Galaxy S7e is finally here with a dedicated thread on XDA :victory:​
Hey guys! Here we are another time
Assuming that you already know me more or less, this rom is based upon latest Samsung Experience 8.5 (Android 7.1.1). I really love the Samung UI, that's why I work on those roms and not on AOSP such as LineageOS, I know I'm a little fanboy
Coming to the features, it's similar to the ones you'll find on my other roms such as BatMan-Rom (for the S8/S8+ and S7/S7e) or the SuperMan-Rom (for the S7/S7e) or even the EOL (End Of Life) HydraRom (for the glorious N7) :good:
The Rom itself contains many many custom features via RomControl, I'll list the most important ones below, still you are very welcome to try them all via the RomControl app (choosable in aroma). Now enough talking, wish you much fun flashing the rom and hope you'll enjoy it! :fingers-crossed:

Rom features of V1.2.0 Nougat:
- Based on latest N950FXXU3BRA8 Nougat base
- Prerooted with SuperSU V2.82 SR5, Phh root r310 or MagiskSU (choose in aroma)
- Magisk V15.4 (aroma selectable)
- Latest Busybox 1.27.2 included in aroma
- Aroma installer! with support up to 4GB zip files
- CSC features are currently not available due to encrypted csc files (a workaround is to use the S8/S8+ csc but I'll figure something out)
- Adblocker included as aroma choice
- Full rom control!! App name is IronControl Free
- Fully deodexed
- Private mode working (only with Modded Settings from aroma)
- LED indicator settings
- choose IOS, Oreo or stock emojis in aroma
- DM-Verity disabled
- Force encrypt disabled
- Modded SystemUI with many tweaks in RomControl (header colors, qs colors, notification colors and much more)
- 3Minit Clock/battery in romcontrol

How to install the rom:
For advanced users:
0. Make sure to have a backup somewhere on external storage
1. Make sure to be on most recent TWRP, bootloader and modem
2. Flash the rom
3. If you need VoLTE or Wifi Calling, flash your correct carrier CSC
4. Done :highfive:
For normal users:
0. Boot your phone, enable OEM unlock in developer settings
1. Flash TWRP with Odin, following this thread Galaxy S7e TWRP until it works correctly (to access download mode, press home+volume down+power on while phone is turned off)
2. Make sure you are using most recent bootloader and modem, latest one available here on Android File Host
3. Now boot into TWRP by pressing home+volume up+power on while phone is turned off
4. If TWRP asks you about allowing system to be edited, swipe yes to confirm
5. In TWRP, go to wipe, format data (a keyboard will pop up now), type "yes" (this will wipe all your data, make sure to have a backup!)
6. After this, reboot recovery and start the rom installer
7. Select your preferences in my aroma installer
8. If you selected to auto update bootloader in aroma, the installer will reboot automatically
9. You can still install my CSC selection if you are customer of a carrier which is not supported by default CSC inside the rom
10. Wait till the rom boots up
11. After setting up, open IronControl Free and let the app apply my default settings!
12. Enjoy the rom!

Known Bugs:
- Iris scanner (if you know how to implement an iris scanner into a s7 let me know )
- face unlock by samsung, we have trusted face by google instead
- Back key light not working due to the fact, that the Note 8 and Galaxy S8 don't have hardware buttons anymore. We need to wait for a similar device as the S7 to get android 7.1.1 to fix it
- Knox related features such as secure folder, samsung pay or samsung pass may not work any longer after rooting your phone

Just as a small addition:
If you are using any 3rd party kernel (not the included IronKernel) you may want to ask your developer to include this wifi hotspot fix. Using 3rd party kernel will break the hotspot function!!
Please, again. If this issue happens it's not an issue with the rom BUT the kernel. I hope all devs will include it for n8 ports

Is VoLTE working on S7 Edge?

Lovely, downloading now. Can I ask if the SPen options in the settings menu have been removed? And is it worth dirty flashing over Batman 1.5 or would you expect issues?

Spen not removed because the same rom can be installed on n8 devices. I think n8 users would kill me

Update: The battery life is same as S7 edge stock.... I guess my battery is deteriorated from charging the phone too much.....

Rom did not install Applock although I found it in Aroma. It is not selected

I wish you could make this for my N910T.

Yes, i tried to copy "cscfeature.xml" & applock.apk from another rom (Note 8 DX port rom) and it work fine

It won't, unless you do a clean flash, wipe dalvik, system, data and cache then flash the rom again

Fingerprint scanning stops at 80% then force closes.
If you can fix that I think this will be a good daily driver rom. For now I reverted back to my stock (7.0) setup from my TWRP backup.
Just found out that there is a fix posted on the telegram group. Gonna try and install this again later.

Me too! I do a clean flash with 5x wipe but still fingerprint stop scanning @ 80% and gps didn't work also.

I expect the fingerprint issue to be resolved :confused

Just share because as can see everyone asking for fingerprint fix . I download this rom yesterday and found this bugs . I use this rom for 1 hour and back to my own rom . So i cant make flashable zip to fix it . It look like no one can solve it , so i share with you all . It just easy step . To fix fingerprint . Just extract secsettings2.apk with zarchives . Then compress again but make sure you choose zip and in compression level choose no compression . After complete rename it again to SecSettings2.apk . Put it back to priv-app . Dont forget to set permission . If it work , please hit thanks

FP is not an issue anymore on this rom its been solved already..topic is in telegram group..it was not intended to flash the fix file via twrp,did you flash the fix file via twrp? Tsk tsk

I heard some users facing issues with fingerprint and messaging via sim2. So here's the fix

This is a full S9 plus port with android version 8.0
If you want to report a Bug, read the F.A.Q First Then provide a logCat OR LoggingKit.zip with detailed explanation
Read the instructions and the F.A.Q Before installing the rom or posting a reply.
You are not allowed to use this base, if you want to make rom, "DIY"
Any sort of File Kanging will be reported without hesitation, we know our codes.

Ive debated weather to release or keep this port for a while, but figured it would be a good thing for the community, and maybe my last. S9 framework isnt the most stable in terms of long-term use , so a major thing to be said is expect a reboot once atleast every 24~48 hours , some are totally safe and wouldnt encounter one, some will. compared to PrometheusLite this one packs much more performance and fluidity. and ofcourse all the software flagship features that are possible to port (No AR3D emoji or bixby Voice as those require 64bit)
RULES OF POSTING : READ everything before commenting, And especially the instlal steps, the rom has been tested throughly for a long time, so if you have an critical issue like not booting or no sim, you missed the instructions, posts that are irrelevant to this project will be ignored(Constructive criticism is welcomed). If you do face a new bug however, dont just say "hey bug here" provide more information, and a LOGCAT, bug reports without logcats will most likely be ignored.

Download and copy the ROM to your device external SDcard (preferred)
Wipe everything (SYSTEM,DATA,CACHE,DALVIK and preferably Internal storage all together)
Flash the ROM.ZIP
VERY IMPORTANT
When the phone reboots and you see boot animation, hold volume down + home + power then volume down to restart the phone
This is needed to have deodexed Oreo roms work (this is required after clean flashing the rom only) if not done, your rom will lag
[*]Be careful, setup wizard will ask you to CANCEL/REBOOT for SIM installation, PRESS REBOOT and let the phone do its thing, if you did not install an OMC rom before you must do this, otherwise your sim wont work well. its necescery to have many countries properly supported, if you skiped this you will be asked agian but it wont do the right thing and will just be stuck

Good idea to read this F.A.Q While the rom is installing
Q : BixbyVision has weird stretch
A : Update the app in GalaxyApps
Q : I dont have root help plez
A : Install magisk app if its gone
Q : Phone took alot of time to boot, and is very laggy
A : pay attention to install steps and reboot
Q : There is SIM popup that keeps coming to ask me for restart
A : you DID NOT follow the instructions, Reinstall the rom and pay attention
Q : in the first SIM question in setup wizard, language is not english, what does it say
A : The RIGHT button is what you need to press, it will factory reset the phone (not touching your internal) and setup your /EFS with an OMC file that is linked to your simcard, so the rom will auto detect your CSC just like official samsung phones
Q : I dont see any EDGE panels after installing
A : Reboot the phone
Q : How is battery Life ?
A : With some tests and some cycles, it will be better than stock due to optimzations
Q : What to do after the rom is setup ?
A : Go to samsung apps, let the phone update everthing
Q : My phone does NOT boot help pls
A : Ensure you have LATEST AF bootloader and modem installed, did all the wipes, and did your house chores,
Notes
Those issues are basicly unfixable until we get official oreo build from samsung
- Because we are limited when it comes to what we can use (libs drivers etc)
If you have no Root, manually install MAGISK APK if you picked magisk
For the most optimal feature set, Pick CSC instead of OMC
- In some countries OMC can lose feature sets
If faceunlock is not working be sure to disable Figerprints+Fingerprint gesture
EdgeLighting needs to be enabled for all apps manually
If you pick OMC be sure to select the RIGHT slection for simcard question at setup wizard
- Failure in doing that will keep the the popup and no simcard will work
- You can Pick CSC to avoid this or read the thread instructions
The DolbySpeaker Mod is experimental and EXTREAMLY LOUD so be careful with it
- If you want normal sound boosting, just pick the standalone soundbooster instead

But i have a issue i dont know if it can be fixed but the screen is automatically dimming when auto brightness is turned off. This is very anoying anyone know how to fix this. I tried factory reset and playing in the settings but its not fixed. I had also on the stock rom the same issue. Pleas help me :crying

In screenshot you have internet speed in status bar, can be enabled in settings, or can be enabled with Xposed installer?

This rom is very good but mobile vibrations not working

Amazing rom! I wish the crashes were less frequent tho, I got 2 of them 30 minutes apart from each other. Can't wait for a fix!

I'm pretty sure the dev wrote in the first post that this bug is impossible to fix, so don't hope for a fix. Prometheus Lite 2.0 will be based on A8 which doesnt have S9 infinitys but still has other flagship features

1) need the native blure background at the edge panel
2) need to fix the gametools problem

for fixes you can try stock firmware files by replacing them ,ps bluetooth replace bluetooth files from your stock fw to system...hope you can fix your bugs in rom.

Would a port be possible for the j7 prime?

Twrp for A11 works with A12 also on m21

Could you please tell what all partitions should be deleted before installing this. I deleted as per above note -- only cache, dalvikcache and data . I then installed but it went into bootloop....Also when installing, it was complaining about missing /product I think,,,,
Also, is there any base version on which the phone should be before installing this...
Currently, I have installed stock A11 last rom ie 01.03.2022 version.

Sorry , Now this time your rom is working

Guys I am facing an error, in the end it is showing me failed to mount /product (Invalid)

Installed this Rom but when trying to update to magisk 25.1 it gets stuck in boot loop.

i installed this rom but i don't know why i can't install any app on playstore. it says i always have not enough storage. this rom can't detect my 128 GB of internal storage
