As you all know MIUI is a highly customizable ROM with an eye pleasing UI. I am here very happy to present for you the new MIUi 8 for merlin. After solving all the rejects and making fullota. and porting boot.img using this guide by STRYDER~007 .
device stuck at bootloop. logcat is attached to this thread. Rom zip still has all cm apps. May be CMTheme engine is causing bootloop. How to disable all unnecessary cm apps and file.im new to android development . i dont have any programming experience .i want to learn .any one please help me and guide me to complete this rom .

I have done what I can.. But its not booting.. If any dev like to contribute and make it work it will be nice ...

Try talking to @jhenrique09 ... He did developed a stable version of MIUI for merlin but the thread was closed, but he might help you...

Hi y'all. I managed to port the firmware/rom from the A9000 HongKong which has GooglePlay and a ton of languages to our beloved A9100. While the rom works just fine, it has a weird bug with the camera (back only) which I currently cant fix. If anybody can help, please send me a PM

You must have unlocked bootloader, TWRP installed and a working brain in order to install this rom
Also be sure that you have installed PI2 CP/modem or else the rom wont work
1. Download this ROM and modem
2. Flash the modem via Odin
3. Copy the ROM to the internal storage
4. Boot to TWRP
5. Wipe data cache system
6. Install my ROM
7. Flash this patch
8. Boot to system

You might root your boot image with Magisk, download Gapps for Android 8.0 from OpenGapps.org and flash MagicGapps Magisk module. This module will install Gapps systemlessly.

Ah. As GSI images work in another way, you will have to wait until TWRP comes for your device.
Or if your rom is already rooted you could install Magisk directly from the Rom
If you want to restore Stock you should download Ereocovery from here: https://mega.nz/#!6eplUQAB!K4hfh2s-b_sSVSJ_Xxg65sywdpJHNRKtzs2ZMRr2bVk
Flash it from Fastboot.
After that get the stock rom for your device( An update.zip that should contain an update.app)
Something like this: http://huawei-firmware.com/rom/huawei-y6-2018/atu-l21/19931
And just do what it says here

By the way, the backlight of my phone ATU-L22 seems dimmer after flashing the LOS15.0.
Not sure it's just my phone or the rom.

Almost all custom roms available here have support multiple Y6 version of this phone.

Hey mate. Did you got success? I am using moto g9 play as well. Bootloader unlocked already. Waiting to see if anyone successfully running android 12 , and if everything working like camera , Bluetooth etc.
