hello everyone,
i hope this is the place to put the question, anyway, my s21 ultra loses 4g internet since the beginings ( when i bought it) , with android 11
And i always have to enable /disable plane mode, for it to reconnect
after the android 12 update, also nothing change , sometimes i switch between 2 APN i created , the apn are identics, just for the internet to reset, sometimes its two times in a minute, sometimes its 3 times in an hour,
the signal is great, i tested changing protocol from ipv4 to ipv4/6 but nothing change
hope some have solution,
Thanks in advance for your time
I had a similar problem with my S21 Ultra starting right after the August 5th software update. It was resolved with another update later that month. Then two days ago, on Oct 5th, I again installed the monthly update and once again I'm having connectivity issues.
thks for the reply , so there is no solution but switching apn every 10 minutes

Hi guys, I have an issue with 4G after the last dec update. In 4G/3G/2G auto connect mode, usually the receiving data arrow ( v arrow below the 4G symbol in notification bar) gone missing and thus the connection got lost. Only transmitting arrow is visible (the ^ one). I have to wait for some minutes or turn to flight mode and back to get my data connection back.
In the beginning I don't really sure this issue is caused by the latest update, but after I tried nearly everything, including factory reset which is doesn't help, I think that the update is the problem.
I have tried my sim on another phone and it worked normally. I have tried another sim on my note 8 and it got the same problem.
Oh and this is only a 4G issue. My 3G works normally. And before the update, I never experienced this kind of problem.
Two of my friends got the same note 8 and one of them is also using the same carrier as me, but neither of them experiencing this issue.
Anyone can help?
Thanks in advance
I had this issue too, it seems 4g connection only got the problem...,
Problem solved, they replace my device
I have the same problem but seems like in a different way, when I got the phone first time I contacted my service provider to activate the 4G service cause it was inactive on my line due to provider's issues, anyway the phone worked on 4G for only 2 days, after that it kept working on 3G, I contacted the service provider many times but they have no issues with my SIM or handset.
I still don't know what is the problem, is it a hardware malfunction? Is it an installed app? Is it a Samsung Update? I don't know!
have tried getting a replacement sim card, I had same problem in the past and they had by mistake sent a sim that was not 4g, got replacement and problem solved
Well, the problem is that it worked at the fist time on 4G so the SIM was 4G not 3G, but I have just comeback from their store, at the first the technical support did something in their system and switched the phone to airplane mode then turn the network ON back and the deice worked on 4G but after a couple of minutes the phone switched to 3G without going back to 4G, then he advised me that this problem either a SIM or handset problem and it's always 90% SIM problem, so we changed the SIM card and the phone is working on 4G for around 30 minutes till now, I hope it will keep working on 4G
2 days and phone is still working on 4G, it was a SIM card problem
Aoa dear
I.have the issue of secure folder as its not there in my cell phone and when i install it from play store and open it but failed to open as it give the option knox mode failed
Hi . I bought a redmi 4x a few months ago .
Initially, the version of this Phone was miui8.2 and I upgraded it to miui9.1 and android 7.1.2 .
After a few months, when I'm connected to the Internet through the SIM card, after a few minutes, the connectivity sign to the network is visible , but has no internet .
I suspect that this problem is due to the upgrade. For this reason, I downgraded the phone version to miui8.5 but I still have this problem
Even when I put the network mode on 3G, I still have the same problem
I tested this SIM card with a different phone (samsung j5 2017) and had no problems
Please answer my problem
What should I do ?
Check APN
I updated my Samsung S20 FE 5G to latest firmware Android 11 via OTA. After update, the network data stopped working on sim1 tray. I can receive calls, send/receive text messages, but no network data. I reset network settings, made factory reset, it did not help. Strangely, when I insert same simcard into sim2 tray, the network data works fine. I did not have this issue before update.
Is anyone experiencing same issue and how to fix it?
This happened to mine but not always. Traced the problem today : LTE band 3 and 1 work fine, LTE band 20 no data (on Three UK). Pushing my phone to 3G/2G (network mode) and then switching it back to the original setting, in my case LTE/3G/2G fixed it (at least in the last hour or so anyway).

I am with Three UK too. After switching networks from 2G to 3G, then to LTE etc fixed my mobile data issue. However as soon as I travel to area where 5G works, the network data stops. It seems this update affects 5G modem and generally mobile data
It's since reoccurred on mine after restarting phone. Not a good sign for this update/S20 FE
Yep same issue also three UK hopefully there's a fix soon this update also broke my duelshock 4 contoller ability to work with phone, rubbish update
only issue ive had since the update was the one day of ridiculous battery drain, other than that, smooth sailing
Hey guys, bought a Mi 11 Ultra (Global ROM) off Giztop and plugged my T-Mobile sim into it and have almost no data at all times. Occasionally it will get data and I will get a message through or load a Youtube video but it seems very rare. While driving for long periods of time I will be on call with someone and it seems like every 4-6 minutes I lose service and the call drops. I am currently lost, have reflashed the modem, etc. I was wondering there was any APN setting fixes or something in developer settings that I may have missed. I am completely new to this phone so please throw the kitchen sink at me..
THANKS.
It seems strange because I have TMobile as well and my phone gets better reception than TMobile phone. Check your MIUI version your APN make sure is in T mobile fast and turn off 5G
I have the same phone from Giztop chineese version on T-moble and I'm having the same connection issues with this device i have to keep rebbot the phone to LTE or 5G to connect is it the rom version number is
miui 12.5.20
I had issues with CN MIUI version. I was on a video call and was dropping often. I switched to Global version and its been working since then.
Hi guys,
I have the P30 Pro since it was released and so far never had issues when traveling (from Germany) to other countries (mostly within Europe).
Last time it (voice and data) worked fine was this year in January when I went to Switzerland.
In April however I did not even get a signal (only emergency calls).
My provider confirmed there are no restrictions and nothing has changed.
The only thing that changed was the pushed EMUI 12 Update end of March...
I checked all roaming and apn settings, switched the sim card to another slot, rebooted, etc. Nothing helped.
Once I leave the German border only emergency calls are available. Coming back to Germany everything works fine again.
I was wondering if I'm the only one here with that problem and, in any case, how it can be fixed?
Will bring another phone on my next trip for further testing.
Thanks for you help!
Is 'Network provider' in network settings set to automatic?
Yes it`s set to automatic, I did not try changing it when I was abroad. Trying it right now it lists other providers but I can't connect to those.
Tried the same thing on the company phone (Samsung) with the same result.
Should be automatic, so looks correct. I would try another SIM (new number), if behaves the same way.
