1.) What to do if My Phone got bootloop or not booting ??
You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:

This is more like regular OTG. Just plugin whatever and works.
Remove "USB HOST" Switch in CodinalteParts
Fix issue with audio crashing when creating effects.
F2FS support on /data
ext4 is still supported also.
Hassan using that source code, so all roms have f2fs for data.

Wont boot, inspite i have changed data file system, installed more than 3 Times but it does not even show the bootlogo, it reboot before it shoes bootlogo

All other ROMS I tried work except for camera, also for facebook, whatsapp, messenger, etc camera doesn't work (it crashes)

DOWNLOAD ROM
GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing crDroid to your Z2 Play, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running treble TWRP recovery
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

[*] VoLTE and VoWIFI not working
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!

If you can send/receive messages, can receive calls, but cant make them, download the two files from -Here and replace them in system/priv-app. You will need root for this
GSIs
This CRDroid build ships with Project Treble compatibility (lite VNDK), meaning you can flash a GSI as System Image from TWRP. Please don't report GSI bugs here, report them instead to the GSI's maker. A Format Data from TWRP is required after flashing a GSI in order to avoid problems.
Technical details on our Treble implementation:
This device is a community-treble device, meaning other devs before us made it compatible with Project Treble (lite VNDK), using the oem partion as a vendor. GSIs still have some problems regarding cpu frequency scaling and camera. You have been warned.

Nice rom, thank you for you work!
I've encountered two problems though:
One problem is default usb mode - after setting it you cannot change mode after pluging into usb (option other then default are inactive).
Second problem - rom is a bit unstable. To be exact: when I wake the phone via active display (waving hand over the phone or moving the phone) sometimes screen turns on correctly, sometimes doesn't wake at all, and sometimes shows only the status bar and nothing else. Strange.
Fingerprint scanner cannot be configured in all these new-december roms? Configured for example to wake/sleep the phone, or volume setting etc, not just as a fingerprint scanner. Such possibility was in 8.1 AOSP some time ago, it was really awesome.

The usb issue we haven't been able to reproduce, so for now it is what it is.
On to your second point, that's all handled by crDroid, there's nothing from device side that interacts with how the screen is drawn when that happens, so i wouldn't know what to tell ya
Lastly, would you mind showing how that worked? I've never seen it in any of the 8.1 roms i used

we currently not implementing OTA updates, yes vanilla will be available on the next update.

Flashing this rom yesterday. At the moment it works perfectly. Very good battery life.
It has small bugs but I think they will be fixed in future updates.
Battery consumption is excellent.
Fast charging does not heat up the terminal at any time.

It's hard to say "yes" for me bcz I'm using tissot as a secondary phone. But I can say that It's stable.

Night light flickers on tapping the screen and accessing apps. Same issue with EvolutionX A13. No problem with Pixel Exp Plus A12 (August) though.

Yea It's but I wanted to share with September patch.

Thanks a lot for your efforts to bring this to our beloved MI A1´s! It works pretty well so far. I am just wondering, as I am coming from LineageOS, if there is any way to have the "hold back button kills app" functionality in Arrows OS too? I couldn´t find the option anywhere. I always loved that function to quickly kill misbehaving apps by simply holding the back button for 4 seconds and it would task-end the app. Thanks again.

Hi, There's no OTA update section because that's unofficial build. So you have to flash dirty. ^^

After updating to this version, the data transfer with Windows isn´t working anymore. The usual pop-up asking you if you want to charge/transfer data once you connect the USB does not come up anymore. The phone charges though and if connecting my Mi A2 to the same cable, data transfer with the PC works fine too. So it isn´t the cable or the PC problem. Hope you can fix this? In the 09/07/2022 version, it worked fine.

Thank you for the ROM. I'm wondering cos the Mi Max 2 has 3 hardware navigation buttons is there anyway to get these to work with this ROM. I tried settings, system,gestures,system navigation, 3 button navigation. but this only enable 3 soft buttons which can be hidden but still cannot get hardware buttons to work. please help. thanks

I have the same problem, but all the other things are very good.
The same happens and on lineage OS, now i see there is a fix there.

did you find a fix for it. i'm old fashioned and like to use the hardware buttons. I tried Lineage also and yes the same problem. I like this ROM so hopw someone can tell me how to get hardware buttons to work

You don't read the changelog yourself? In the future, except for PixelExperience, all others will enable navbar by default.

Ι cant use lineage 20 because the mobile internet is totally dead!!!
the fix is here if you havent see it allready https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-12-1-13-unofficial-lineageos-oxygen-09-26-2022.4452577/page-7 but i dont if it can working on this rom.

for the other i said, i meant the hw navigator bar, but there is a zip file, i didn't know that when i wrote it. For the mobile internet the problem was on lineage os 20, 19 has mobile internet but not easily 4G. Ι am from Greece, i have Cosmote carrier and here there isn't anymore 3G/H/H+, only 2G/GPRS/EDGE, 4G/4G+ and 5G. With lineage OS 20 i have only 2G but only voice and sms, no internet all. I tried many things with APN etc, but nothing. Finally i installed this rom and its working very nice without problems.

Thank you for that. Sorry I didn't realise there was a Telegram Channel. Can I ask how do I install it. There are 2 folders product/vendor. product folder has file named HwKeyOverlay.apk . vendor folder has file ft5x46.kl. Do I just install the apk file ? thanks

yes can only manually enable. they are enabled in the pixel experience rom only if you want to try it. the zip cannot be installed in TWRP

Try using app X-plore with root access
* No need for seperate Text Editor as it's already built into the app
shows how to edit files here
go to “Configuration” > “Root Access” and make it “Superuser + Mount writable”
Locate file " vendor/usr/keylayout/ft5x46.kl "
Long press and edit
uncomment the three lines at the bottom by removing #
Save file
Reboot
