I'm havin a problem with my xiaomi mi 11, i cant send mms messages.?? I've got the regular message app.. and the app messenger, made by facebook?
The problem is that i can send sms/regular text-messages. but when i add a picture., or if it's converted to MMS. There's no pictures and no one receives the message.??
Everything has been set to default.? i've formatted and reinstalled the phone but the problem is still there?? The phone does work with everything else??
Anyone with a explanation?? Or a quick fix??

I finally received my note 8 yesterday. I have the unlocked version on cricket wireless network (att). Everything on my phone is working fine EXCEPT my group messages. They are coming in separate. I do not mind using a texting app but I found recently that Textra is having problems- so I'm trying to avoid using a texting app.
All advice is needed and welcomed. Thank you.
If I understand correctly, I am having the opposite problem. I set up a group to send messages to and everyone sees all the replies - they want my texts, but only want me (and 1-3 specific other people, if only that were possible) to see if anyone replies. I'm using Message+ and can't find a setting to change that... if I understand this correctly as well, I think they are sending MMS and I want them to send SMS so only I see the replies. I have have tried other apps but they either limit contacts to 20, or everyone has to have that app, etc. Is Textra still having problems? Maybe I'll check that out.
I use yowhatsapp in my mi 8. When I close the screen, the connection has been lost in whatsapp. After I enter whatsapp, my messages start to come. What can I do for this? Anybody help me please?
I found the problem. If I click to xioami cleaner, it closes all apps and messages don't come until I enter to whatsapp. I tried all ways but I could not ignore whatsapp
Had the same issue on my SE. Only switching to a xiaomi.eu rom fixed it for me.
I fixed, it is because of wrong yowhatsapp app
mi 9t pro global, factory rom, does not receive SMS verification apps in general verification code, example: whatsapp, facebook, instagram among others, can someone help me, I do not know what to do, rummaged in everything else not nothing concrete

I don't think it has to do with phone, must be your network carrier, maybe try installing 3rd party text message app like TEXTRA and make it default app and see. Otherwise it's your network

I love the phone so far. However, there is a problem with Google Fi (Always).
I am able to receive the message, phone calls, etc just fine. However, i am not able to send out SMS. It always fails. I tried both the stock app and the google messaging app.
Did this happen to Xiaomi 11 as well? I am rocking a Chinese ROM at the moment, not sure if global rom would be any different.
so, at least with the chinese rom, don't use google messenging app. if you set that to be your default, you will face this issue. stay with stock messages app, you are fine.
Group chat doesn't work, oh well, not important.
I had this issue with the Mi Mix 3. This helped me maybe it will help you. Go into the Google Fi App and force stop it and clear the data then turn on all the permissions for the app then try to send the messages
I used to have a Redmi k20 pro and notifications from Facebook messenger on android auto were working fine until the android 11 update where they stopped working completely. I thought it was a problem with MIUI but now i have a Samsung S20 FE and the problem still persists. Every other message notification (messages, whatsapp) is working fine. Anyone else with the same issue?
Not sure if it was in line with an update, but it was working for me before and now it's not ... I ask the assistant to send a message using Facebook Messenger and it just says "I can't send messages with Facebook Messenger Yet". Not sure what the "yet" is all about when it used to do it before!
