I am using Poco x3 nfc. Flashed my rom to pixel experience a year ago and got magisk working.
However, I don't remember why magisk was removed. So I tried re-installing magisk using APK and ZIP (orangefox).
After installation, I can open magisk manager but it shows the magisk core not installed.
I have scoured google and the poco x3 thread but still unable to find a solution to install magisk core. Any help or guide is very much appreciated.

Try again... Your image seems broken. Better to upload a recovery log.
You don't need phh's superuser and Magisk will actually try to remove it on installation in favour of MagiskSU.

Yes, Magisk isn't installed properly on your device. If it was, you wouldn't be able to have SuperSU installed at the same time...
Try again, uninstall whatever Magisk installation you've managed, uninstall SuperSU and try again.

So I flashed Magisk 17.1 in TWRP after installing Magisk manager 5.9.1 on my Mi A1 running Android 9.0
There were no errors and my phone booted just fine. Then I opened up the Magisk app and it was stuck at the splash screen (I waited like 2-3 minutes) So I decided to check if root was working: nope...
Can someone please help I've linked some screenshots for more info
