Hi
I was using Oneplus phones. I shifted to Samsung. Few problems I am facing is there a Solution.
1. Apps are distributed in 5 or 6 pages is it possible to make it available in 1 page?
2. In Phone app when I select keyboard there is no option for dual sim calling. I have to change in settings and select ask before calling. Only for key board I want both SIM options. Regular calls I have made my one SIM default. This option is there in onrplus.
3. Is there option to stop vibrations. For every notification my phone vibrates. In setting it gives options there is no disabling option.
Thank You

Does it exist on the captivate? I cant find a way to run my phone in edge only to save battery....
Thanks.
You'd have to run certain custom ROM's that have it enabled. Unfortunately they change so often I cannot remember which one offered it.
I would check Auxura ROM in the dev forum here - I "think" they had that feature enabled.

You could try the following:
Put your phone in service mode by dialing *#*#197328640#*#*
Then type 1 for Debug
Then 8 for Phone Control
Then 4 for UE State Control
and then 3 to change to GSM
then Menu-> exit.

Yep, that's what I do during the week as the 3G signal by my office isn't so great. To go back to 3G, it's option 2 instead of 3 (WCDMA).
Think there's a way to create Launcher Pro buttons to have it switch using shortcuts instead of having to dial all that?
just to add some additional info.
Running Axura 2.4, you have the following options in the usual settings menu => Wireless and Network => Mobile Network Settings
GSM/CDMA
GSM Only
CDMA Only

I just added the number as a contact. Whenever I want to access it, it pops right up after dialing #.
I am unable to clear the WiFi / Cellular calling notification in the tray. The text is as follows:
"Unable to make calls over Wi-Fi. Cellular preferred is your connection preference." (Motorola Settings)
Any ideas on how to block the wifi or cellular calling notification? This notification might be unique to T-Mobile phones.
EDIT: simplified and clarified original question
Tap and hold a notification. See if there will be an option wherein you can set priority per se. If it doesn't work you can enable it in Settings - System UI Tuner. But you have to be sure it is already active/enabled.

Thanks! Long pressing did not reveal any useful options. However, with the System UI tuner, I was able to take the notification level from 2 to 1 (but not 0) so at least now there is no icon in the status bar.

Any App/Modul from Playstore/Magisk/Xposed?
Thanks in Advance
Not yet. Seems like a pretty big fail if you ask me. Hopefully it comes in an EMUI update. Just set notifications to turn on the screen and enable the LED.
Yes, but it doesn't work (atleast on the P20 Pro)
:/

I've the P20 pro and although the option is there to enable the Always On Display, it doesn't work.
Unsure if other users have found that it doesn't work either?
Head over to Settings > Security & Priavcy > Screen lock & passwords > Always display information - In here there is a slider bar to enable it, and you can schedule all day or a set time period. Either way when I enable it the display doesn't show anything when the screen goes off.
There's other issues too with EMUI 8.1, such as the setting for turning the screen on when you lift the device up - that doesn't work.
Another is the double tap Volume Down button to take a photo, that doesn't work even though the setting is enabled in the camera app.
Another one is when using the Whatsapp call feature the screen goes off, yes this also happens on normal voice call, but unlike in a normal voice call where you can press the power on/off button to display the in call menu screen, in Whatsapp you cannot get the display back on. You are reliant on the person who you are talking to to end the call.
Other than that the device is immense.

Have to say that all of the things you mention work fine on my phone (although I don't have whatsapp so can't comment on that). however the AOD is next to useless - it only shows the time and battery level but no notifications! One of the reasons I bought a phone with an OLED display was for this feature, hope it gets an upgrade to something useful soon. For the time being I've paid for an app called 'Always on AMOLED', which works fine for the most part.
:/
Has there been any progress on this? I'm coming from an S7 and all notifications showed up on the AOD. Cannot understand why the P20 Pro (flagship!) only allows native apps to show notifications.
Anyone have any luck with 3rd Party A.O.D. apps on the P20 Pro to get it to work properly and stick without being killed? One my favorite and most recommended is:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tomer.alwayson but it is sporadic in functionality and staying "Always On" I am trying to use it on my Mate RS
I came from LG G5 (2016), and I can't believe that this feature is missing on the P20 Pro (2018) flagship. Are they insane?!
Any news about it, when might it be implemented?
I'm so pissed about it that it's unbelievable.

I agree! It's a pain in the ass. There are few features missing, but still very annoying.
I enabled VOLTE (I think) by putting a code into the dialer. Since then, next to my signal and 4G, it has "HD" on the notification bar. I have dual SIM so it shows twice (twice as unnecessary). Is there a way to hide this?
Im not rooted and never quite figured out how to use ADB etc...
I tried to include a picture, but I have not posted enough to add it.
If you can see HD in SIM, the reason is you carrier and you SIM Card have VoLTE service active, this allow make voice calls through LTE connection and is good for you.
The code for disable or enable "region check" is:
*#*#86583#*#*
Check in Settings / Network & Internet / Mobile Network / Advance
The option
Enhaced 4G LTE Mode OFF ON
Use LTE services to improve voice and
other communications (recommended)
This option ON or OFF the HD in you phone.
Use the code to activate the hide option, turn OFF and use the code again to hide the option.

Hello!
You can hide this icon via "System UI Tuner". You can access to it using Nova Launcher, you can search in Google about it.
Hello everyone
I have this very weird problem with my Huawei p30 pro AL00 model.
after I change my settings, the phone automatically changes it back without any pop-up or whatever.
For instance, I changed the notification settings to show banners for some apps. As soon as press back, the setting changes back to default, which is no banners. I have tried it for like 10 times and I can't change my notification settings. They change back!!!!
Has anyone experienced this?
I bought this phone 3 days ago. brand new phone. I have also turned off the automatic app launch settings and stuff related to notifications.
You need to update your device to the latest version to fix the issue
