Fingerprints does not work with turned off screen and ambient display.
But with turned on screen, most of the time fingerprints worked for the First 8 hours, then no more. I thought I've registered them less precisely than needed so I deleted the old ones and tried to re-add them, but the procedure does not progress after the First step.
So definetly, there's something wrong, could the sensor suddendly died or could be a bug if someone else experienced It

Sorry, this is a template error from PE, I will remove Face Unlock for now. It will added again in the future, maybe even in January when PE12 Plus is released.

If you experience problems while trying to register fingerprints do the following:
1. Start the enrollment
2. Before you press your finger on the screen, plug in the charger.
3. Now press your finger on the screen until it fails to progress any further anymore.
4. Plug in the charger again.
5. Repeat until registered.
This is entirely Google's fault, and this is the only known "workaround" for now.
Regarding FoD with screen turned off and ambient display:
Screen off FoD was never and will likely never be supported on any custom ROM for this device, but let's see what the future brings.
FoD from Ambient display is currently a little bit buggy, I experience issues with it too.

Just try and follow the official PixelExperience guide
Is anybody else unable to add their fingerprint? When adding, it usually recognizes the first touch but then demands to hold my finger longer. Fingerprint adding works perfectly with other ROMs. Is this a safety net related issue? The device passes safety net and banking works perfectly though.

It's a common bug in android 12.
If you connect your charger before putting your finger
in it will be done. Sometimes you may need to reconnect each time.
Now that was a ridiculous process but my fingerprints work. Thanks!

No you can't dirty flash. You need to wipe and format data, flash the required firmware and then PE12.

Yeah, it is. But in the end it works fine
Very happy with this ROM - did a clean install based on first 12.5.5, install Pixel recovery and then the ROM. Especially since Jan update I think it runs smooth and bugfree...
... except for one issue: I seem to have lost incoming caller ID when 4G calling is enabled. On stock it is working just fine.
Any ideas?

Hello, I have tried the ROM and it works great, only that the fast load is slower than the stock ROM, is there a solution?

Im currently in ArrowOS but im gonna switch to your ROM, since theyve discontinued development for my device, and ive no android 12.
I wonder: can i directly flash the ROM via twrp recovery, just clean wipe and then install? or do i need to use something else, or have a specific firmware? (I dont think i need a specific firmware since im already on a custom rom, but ive no idea)
So... what would be the installation procedure coming from another custom rom?

About GSI,I still haven't released nothing because any camera app works in GSI, 32 or 64 bits. Is something related with startpreview method, but I don't know why don't work, even with camera fix from out there.

muchas gracias por el esfuerzo y traernos esta rom para nuestros a320, en mi caso a320y, probé la port del a7 y desde un principio la note pesada y en momentos se trababa demasiado, después probé el port del j6 y si, esta bien fluida todo el tiempo y no hay diferencia de rendimiento con oreo stock, lo único que note como falla, es que al parecer no esta funcionando el sensor de proximidad, ya que aod nunca se apaga cuando esta en un lugar totalmente oscuro o en el bolsillo.
Por lo demás, excelente trabajo y espero que sigas avanzando y mejorando.Saludos

No, you should be fine. Just wipe system, data, cache, and dalvik before flashing.

Zip will not install on any other firmare than MIUI-R V12.1.4.0.RJIEUXM, make sure you are on correct firmare.
Install TWRP following normal process, reboot to Android 11 supported recovery, format the data (will delete everything from phone, different than wipe data option), reboot to recovery, copy the downloaded file to internal stoage from PC. Install Zip, reboot

I just installed it and recovered all my data in 10min. For the moment nothing to say, fluid and complete, thank you for the work done.
Small detail: the top elements (time, battery etc) are slightly cut because of the rounded edges and I find the height between each line of applications a little too high compared to normal.
Edit : I've identified another little bug: sometimes the fingerprint is not recognized even after several tries.

You should have screen off fod options in next update
I downloaded and installed the rom without any problem starting the version without gapps and then flame gapps basic, everything works well with the FOD, fixed the problem of increasing brightness to 100% when pressing on the fingerprint, double tap was activated to turn on screen, Magisk 21.4 You can flash from recovery after the first boot, the design is very clean and stable but I hope you can integrate options like battery styles, centered clock, icon in the status bar However in general terms I am in love of this compilation

Do you plan on supporting the additional AI button? Currently I cannot seem to be able to map it when trying to use the old magisk AI button remapper.
I am using the latest china beta firmware for that matter, could it be related to that?
I have installed the Vanilla rom and I have to say that it is a very good rom, everything seems to be going very well. What I don't see to be able to update via OTA in future updates, don't you have it? And what is the difference between Rom Vanilla and Gapps? A really great ROM! I will stay with that for now!
I took the variant with GAPPS, then rooted it with Magisk.
- the installation process went completely smoothly
- Fingerprint works really well (both the setup and in previous use)...Faceunlock as well
- Android Auto works fine
- ANX camera works (at least the video mode; i used the version "ANXCameraUnity_185R.SaltyIntelligentPlainsqueaker.zip" and "48MPFixR_201.DullAggressiveHylaeosaurus.zip")
- 1% battery drain in 7h in flight mode
... and now an update with a working CTS profile! That would be great!
But as I said, great ROM! Thanks a lot for this!

Hello, I'm planning to make it official, so OTA updates are coming soon.
The difference between gapps version and vanilla is: vanilla it's coming without google services/apps and that gapped version come with google apps included, I hope you got it

Hello, That's problem with weak microphone sound caused by "Google recorder" which is not included, meaning that problem is not present. Even with the "swipe with three fingers to screenshot" feature, multi-touch works, in some other ROMs this isn't there, but here everything looks fine. And also FW is included, don't need to flash anything,

Hola, instalé la última versión de la rom tanto Vanilla como Gapps y encuentro el problema de que la aplicación Chrome se cuelga mientras navego, mi pantalla se congela y al cabo de un rato me sale un mensaje si quiero cerrar la aplicación, espérame o enviar un mensaje de error, ¿le pasa eso a otra persona?
Alguien tendría o sabría dónde descargar la versión anterior, eso estuvo muy bien para mí

Hello everyone and sorry for my English! I tried to install ka Pixel Ui but despite the process being successful without any errors the phone does not start. The Redmi logo appears and then it is as if it goes out. Moreover, if you want to redo the whole process again, it no longer goes into recovery. Where am I wrong or is home missing ?! Thank you!

the same for me LEMON (REDMI 9T NFC) and Recovery ORANGEFOX 11.1.4.
Recovery impossible to load now so impossible to install new ROM

Use Pitch Black Recovery (is the only recovery working until now on lemon) and you need a custom kernel too for a working rom on that device aka. lemon. Mine is lemon too and i am on oficial global miui (from xiaomi) 12.5.11 stable. I want to try this rom (from this page) but i don't want to brick it yet so i will wait for an android 12 from xiaomi, if will ever be one.

First of all, thank you! I honestly did not think there were such differences as not to be able to install a custom rom that was compatible with all types of this device. I too am now in stock EEU 12.5.8 and I don't think I try anything else at the moment. Let's hope someone can develop something in the future!
However, I want to reiterate that my problems are not due to recovery, I can install everything without any errors but when I restart the redmi logo appears and immediately the device is as if it switches off and this is very strange!

Hi guys as we know Redmi 9t comes with tow Types of touch panels one of them is NVT-Ts which doesn't support Custom Roms, i found this kernel that support NVT-Ts and it works almost on any rom , that's the link of the kernel...

Rileggendo meglio l'argomento vedo ancora che il link del kernel è rotto e per di più nessuno che l'ha testato su lemon, ho solo letto che la rom xiaomi.eu funziona ma quello non è stato un problema nemmeno per me avendo installato con successo diversi settimanali. Il problema sono le altre rom aosp e ad oggi non esiste una guida che testimoni il successo sui dispositivi lemon.

I suggest you to wait for an official android 12 from xiomi, if there will be one, if you don't want to risk it with custom kernels. And please use english to write.

At this point I would say yes, better to go official, at least until some developer finds a solution. Android 12 will be released, it's official, when you don't know, we talk in August, but I have my doubts!

I flashed PPUI 4.7 to my Redmi 9T just last week, everything is running beautifully so far, with the exception of the following points:
"macro" and "wide angle" cameras are not working
OTA update is not working
with regards to the cameras, I have a Redmi 9 (currently still stock) and Redmi 9T (currently on PPUI), both of which contain 3 rear cameras and 1 front "selfie" camera. unfortunately I did not get a screenshot of "Device Info HW' before flashing PPUI, but I do have a screenshot of my Redmi 9, which does show all cameras. (see attached)
with regards to the OTA updates, I used the OP download link, which directed me to PPUI 4.7, and after booting up I noticed that 4.8 was already out. when I navigate to "Settings" > "System" > "Updates", I see the "last checked" field reports "1 January 1970 (02:00)" (so.. unix time 0), and I get a message that states "The update check failed. Please check your internet connection and try again later.".
I've now tried this on multiple networks, including mobile phone data, my home internet (with no fancy firewalls) and my work internet (with multiple hardware and software firewalls), I get the same result everywhere.
anybody know what's going on here? are these issues resolved in 4.8?

Tried this, it actually installs the pixelexperience recovery. I used the sideload method to install the rom by going into recovery, selecting apply update and then apply from adb. I was confused at first because it stopped at 47%. Then the cmd line returned

then I exited the sideloader and it says install completed wth status 0. It's safe to wipe data then reboot if that shows after sideloading.
Will further test this ROM because if this works fine then it'll be my daily driver.
Update: I've rooted the phone already through the phone's recovery. The rom is very smooth and the 90Hz refresh rate works fine too. Will update again in a few days for battery life and performance.

this doesn't need a brightness fix, the display size fits the phone perfectly. it is faster and supports the 90Hz refresh rate. the rom was ported with our device tree, which means that it will definitely work better with it.
