Yes i know about those ... but I'm making my own theme with different color notification bar ... different icons etc
Here you go.
Read up, I know it looks complicated, but once you do it once or twice, it's actually so simple.
thank you. exactly what i was looking for
cheers
If you want to do it yourself versus using a tool, you can learn some of the different things by looking at this too http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=667951

Hey Guys,
i`m searching for a method to change my font color.
As i posted in the "Show your wallpaper sticky" my Wallpaper has a white Background.
I also made the status bar and the dock fully transparent.
So it is impossible to read the clock or something else what is written in white...
Hope someone could give me a kick in the right direction.

Changing the native font colour involves pulling your framwork-res.apk, decompiling it, editing the hex values in XML, recompiling it and then pushing it back to the phone. I'm sure if you Google "change font colour android" you'll find a few guides.
Alternatively, it would be much easier to just use a different background
hi postfatal,
thanks for your response.
i googled the entire morning and this is really the only solution?
*sigh*
so i have to learn a bit more about our beloved android system
i wouldn't change my wallpaper because after 3 years i found a nice new one
So i give it a try and make the impossible possible ;P

Hello XDA members!
I spent lately so many hours trying to understand how to change some elements in the apk in order to have a dark background and a light text. I did all the changes I could into the style.xml, colors.xml, drawable...layout.xml, I digged everywhere I found a color text or background but unfortunately it failed to change the element I want...I just don't know where else can I look??? I was thinking about webview but this is new to me and I have no clue how to manipulate it. I attached two screenshots with what I'm looking for hoping that someone here could bring me a solution??
the first image is what I have and the second one is what I want (modefied using photoshop for inversion). The apk is a news reader apk. Thank you in advance for any assistance!
Hi all
Does anyone know of a good guide that shows you how to create a theme for a galaxy s6?
I am wanting to make a theme that uses the standard icons, but has some darker colours in the sms/phone app.
I dont like the theme store AMOLED friendly / black themes because they dont have enough colour and we loose the defaut iconset.
Basically if i can take the standard theme and modify a few things I'd be happy
Whenever I try to search for answers, all i seem to be able to find is references to some elusive and unobtainable theme creation tool that samsung was ment to release back in April.
I am just after the tool or a guide right now, i dont want to add my themes to the samsung theme store.
foundit
Oooh looks like this site is now back up again
developer.samsung.com/theme#mytheme
Edit: Nevermind that doesnt do the job
It is a super basic editor that just allows you to add wallpapers and icons - it wont let you change the background and coloring of the sms and phone apps.
