Hello and happy new year
I bought a second hand mi 11 ultra device, the device is a Chinese version with eu rom.
In the tutorials on youtube I saw that after installing a global rom an mi account password is required. Is this password fixed? Is it possible to change it? How can I check which bootloader account is locked? In the tutorials on youtube I saw that after installing a global rom an mi account password is required. Is this password fixed? I hope I explained myself properly, thanks in advance to all the helpers.

Ofri

The password is linked with the Xiaomi account. It should show which account is linked.
It should be possible to change from Xiaomi website.
Your bootloader is probably unlocked since you said it's China model with Xiaomi.eu ROM, so there should be no password.

The bootloader is unlocked but I'm afraid that if I'll flash global ROM and the bootloader is under the password of the guy I buy from.
How can I be sure?

Hello,
Here I have a problem to unlock my bootloader of my global mi9.
I made the request for deverouillage in the rules, but after 360h, miunlock told me to wait another 4 days.
after 4 days, I have the message in Chinese (see photo) and impossible to unlock the bootloader.
I never had a problem to unlock the bootloader of my other xiaomi phones before.
Do you have a solution?
Thanks for your help.

Oh sorry missed that. What the error says in english is something like: the phone has not been used in the specified time and cannot be unlocked. Did you turn the phone off after starting the timer? Probably some weird anti reseller protection by xiaomi. I would try binding the device to your mi account account again.

It has nothing to mi unlock version to do. In the first place there was problem with connection between the phone and PC.

I mean I doubt that using older version of mi unlock tool have been solved the problem. The error shown on the image mean that connection between the phone and PC have been lost. There is no way to bypass the waiting time other then having VIP account or find someone who has and willing to help.
So it just came in the mail, K20 Pro 6gb.
I got it from Goldway on Aliexpress advertised as K20 Pro Global. I was half expecting it to arrive and it not be correct model number in settings as these 'Hacked' roms report to have, but it says K20 Pro.
Upon booting I successfully signed up to a Mi account and logged in, everything seems normal. Am I in the clear for flashing? Provided below are screenshots.
Through fastboot I get responses that of a successful unlock. When I open Mi Unlock, log into my account and connect my phone with fastboot I get the screen below. I don't need to unlock it so I guess that doesn't matter?
Thanks in advance.

I guess you phone was unlocked by seller with some special tool.
You can install TWRP and then any rom you like.
Dont touch mi flash and stay away from "cleall all and lock".
Wow, is it an actual global ROM? maybe you shouldn't flash it with anything aotm and play with it a bit. let us know about the experience of a true global ROM.

As I learned recently there is no OFFICIAL Global ROM, the so called Global ROMs being sold are modified Chinese ROMs, the downside is that there ''might be'' malicious software installed in these ROMs as there is no telling what the retailer installed exactly. The true OFFICIAL Global ROMs won't be realeased before September by the looks of it.
No anything global, some fake Global rom not make your phone global with global basebands for LTE!

Well it did say raphaelin. that just confused me for a little bit.. I did figure as much, It's funny how some sellers tout the global ROM for me when I'm looking for CN Rom. I said I wanted an unopened untouched product.
So I've ended up installing TWRP and tried out Xiaomi.eu and Mi Globe roms so far. Upon booting both of these roms its made me verify my phone number associated with my Xiaomi account/phone. Would this mean that my phone is actually linked to MY Xiaomi account and number? TIA

Yes, but you'll get those prompts on MIUI based roms only.
Stuck with "Coudn't verify" I've registered account at https://account.xiaomi.com and downloaded Mi Unlock tools.
How to fix this?

Disconnect on your mi account, and reconnect you.
And try again.
Works for me
Big thanks! Huh now i get " Please add your account in MIU's Settings" (which i've done already) How to proceed now?
Did you make sure that the same account is used on your MIUI ? Check under settings -> MI Account. Has to be the exact user with which you also log on in the unlock tool. Only when they match you are able to unlock the bootloader.
Ok thanks, im now using mobile number for unlook tool (win10) and account signin 11 Ultra.
No message now from Unlook Tool
Login again to unlock tool using the same account that's currently logged in on the phone , then unlock
Unknown error (1004)
Try changing the cable, check in an settings if you're using correct one. I had two APN's and one was wrong. Check if data connectivity is turned on.
Just turn off find device in settings/Xiaomi acc/devices/"your phone"/find device

I updated my smartphone to MIUI Global just to have access to NFC technology, the android detects the feature but when registering the card the google wallet returns a message that the phone does not meet the security requirements.

Is the bootloader unlocked?
Smartphone came with the original china rom with the bootloader unlocked, I already updated to MIUI INDIA, but as we know it does not support NFC, as soon as the global MIUI came out I opted for the update in the hope of NFC working, it appears however when registering the card it returns that error.
Note: Smartphone does not have ROOT access.
The bootloader is unlocked, that's why.
Is it just blocking the bootloader then ?
But if I block the bootloader, will I have to stay in the device's original ROM, which is China?
Indeed, you cannot lock the bootloader on a rom other than CN.
The solution,rooter+Magisk+zygisk+safetynet module.
Is Bootloader the same thing as Root?
Technically not, but for your problem, the phone is considered not to have all the required security.
Root+Magisk+zygisk+safetynet module are undetectable, moreover all rom users other than CN, use this method to have a certified device.
I have the eea. If i unlock the bootloader and install the global i wont have nfc?

If you have a Global version phone (model 22101316G) you can install any stock rom (except CN) and lock the bootloader.
EDIT:
All models( 22101316G, 22101316I, 22101316C) of this phone support NFC, but with an unlocked bootloader, the addition of payment cards is refused for security reasons.
