Hello Guys! I am struggeling this for over a month, and no success. (I had a replaced device, but problem still exists.)
None of the widgets changes the day after 23:59. I mean Google Calendar, Weather widget, Monthly Calendar, none of them.
The widgets always shows the preivous day, until I refrresh them (example: on Google Calendar widget I go next or previous month and back, then the date is became correct.)
On my LG Q60 it worked well, I tried to analyse both of them with adb logcat, but nothing significant in the logs. This problem exists even if the date is from the carrier, or if I set it to manual.
Does anybody facet that problem? This is my second device which has the same -and very very annoying- problem.

Soo, i was using a Samsung with Android 7 before i got my new MI8 Lite and since then, i noticed that apps (especially twitter) seem to be having a limit of around 10 notifications truncated together, any new notification after that just removes the oldest one and takes it spot, while in my old Samsung with android 7, it could handle around 50 notifications.
Can i fix it somehow?
(Ps: I know i mispelled the title)
Hi, new Mi 9 is arriving in few days.
I am not interested (yet) in rooting or new firmware (unless it improves really a lot the experience).
But would be nice to remove bloatware and do some fixes.
Any guidance?
To debloat you can use this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/Mi-9/themes/xiaomi-mi9-debloat-root-root-t3910021
You can use "apps_packages Info" (from f-droid) to unistall even more on your own risk.
I'm on Xiaomi.eu Beta builds and get weekly updates. In my opinion it was a good upgrade from MIUI Global stable (stock camera was way better, fingerprint felt faster and it already removed a little bit bloatware).
Please be aware that's miui for the mi 9 still has software bugs. Check out the Mi 9 Global stable: collaborative bug collection thread: http://c.mi.com/thread-2325491-1-0.html

most of those bugs can be fixed by installing magisk modules/third party apps
for example automatic brightness and notifications
biggest issue for me is the always on display notifications... it leaves a lot to be desired
I never managed to get MMS/group messaging to work. On the stock MIUI messaging app, group messages were handled as mass SMS (and I received group messages as SMS from a single person). On google/android messages app, incoming MMS messages were simply dropped/disappeared with no way to recover them and I couldn't send images to a single recipient (SMS never converted to MMS)
Along with the missing notification bug, I gave up on the Mi 9 within a week. Will try again on Q!

also want to add that bluetooth headphones were unusable unless changing a setting in developer options, and even then the volume steps went from too quiet to too loud :/
I know it's not something you plan on doing right off the bat, but register now a xiaomi account so you can get your bootloader unlocked (they will make you wait for the code between 1 and 2 weeks). Many of those tweaks you talk about require such bootloader status and magisk rooting. Besides, you can always relock the bootloader if you want to, and you won't break your warranty if you ever unlocked it, this is not Samsung.
Hello,
I don't know if you know I use the handy application CamSam Plus (warning of "danger zones") in addition to Waze.
CamSam Plus has an interesting feature, a widget that remains visible above other applications (like Waze for example).
Until now, both applications have worked perfectly and cohabited together on my smartphones (Honor, Huawei, Samsung and Oneplus), but this is no longer the case since I bought the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro (and I'm very disappointed).
I tried a lot of tricks in the CamSam application settings, in the rights manager (put all rights) and even in the batterrie (saver, no restrictions).
But nothing works, I still have the problem (it wouldn't be because of this double GPS chip thing, can we disable one on both to test?).
Have any of you ever had this kind of bp and if so, would you know what to do about it?
In advance thank you for your lights.
same problem on Redmi Note 8 with MIUI 11
Hello.. I'm trying to research an issue (or known change) with the Notifications on my OnePlus 10 Pro running latest Android 12. This problem was first noticed on my OP8T after upgrading it to Android 12. Since I just got a 10 Pro I'm posting here, since that' s my current phone and the one for which I'd like resolution (sold the 8T).
After upgrading the OP8T, my notifications no longer let me go straight to an app. I'll use Gmail for example. Before the upgrade if I had multiple new email, I'd have a single notification. I would swipe down and see it, and I could one of two things. 1. I could just click on the notification and it would take me to my Inbox. Or 2. I could tap the little side button that expanded the notification and click on one of the emails to be taken directly there.
Since Android 12 upgrade, I no longer have option 1. I bought a OnePlus 10 Pro - it came with Android 12 installed, and I have the exact same issue.
I am not seeing this behavior with a Sammy on Android 12, so it has to be something in with Oxygen OS.
Anyone else seeing this, and do you see it as issue? Is there a way to set it so when you click on the notification, it just opens the App like you were clicking the App's icon? I TRULY MISS THIS
Yes this is a very big feature and product miss. Not able to understand why this is not blown up yet.
WTF?
It's essential function I've used do far in all my OnePlus phones! I've heard that Xiaomi and Samsung phones don't have it but what's happened here?
I know most of you don't know what about I'm talking about. But...
My job depends on meetings - without interruptions. Sure, I can use every time Alert slider. But... every time?
Smartphones are named smartphones because can do e.g. automated tasks, for best example, activate DND when pointed into calendar event start.
What those programmers do? And why?
How solved it? Are custom roms for 10 Pro had same ailment?
Anyone care about it?
Peace!
Just use Tasker or if Tasker is too complex, Macrodroid is easy to use. Both will enable this function to work.
Ok, it's working. For now.
But what when I don't have appointments into my calendar for few days. Oppo roms (and Oxygen OS is Oppo's Color OS now - no doubt) are famous for killing processes, even pinned?
Why isn't any custom ROM for OnePlus 10 Pro? What smartphone is mostly modded by custom ROMs these days?
