This tool is updated yesterday and it supported the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini.

Havn't tried it yet, but I gave the information and links to recoveries to LEDelete. Didnt know he got it updated so fast :good:

How to root Galaxy Mini 2 with stock recovery

Hi everybody, I've been searching a way to root the galaxy mini 2 (s6500) without using Odin and without installing the cwm.
On my galaxy gio I used to install the "update.zip" from the stock recovery. Does it work for the mini 2? Thanks.

Is the link you sent for root though? It says recovery. I'm kinda new with these things

You need to flash recovery in order to root or do pretty much everything. For rooting you just need to flash Magisk through Recovery.
But, be warned During the Flashing of Recovery your data needs to be Wiped.
