I was wondering if anyone experience the same.
I want to unlock my bootloader but everything I connect my phone (in fastboot) to PC I hear windows connecting and 2 seconds after that disconnecting in loop.
Mi unlock therefore doesn't see my phone, and in device manager you see "Android" appearing and disappearing.
I used the original USB cable.
I've installed mtk drivers as well as the Xiaomi USB drivers.
It's only in fastboot, normal mtp mode does work well.
But I can't unlock my bootloader this way.
Please help.
where did you find the drivers? I am looking for them

Found it on xiaomitools website. (Googled for Xiaomi mtk drivers)
I had the same problem and how I fixed it was just going into device manager in windows and installed my drivers manually from there and now the phone is detected as an "Android adb interface" when it's in fastboot.

Which driver did you use? I've tried installing drivers when they pop up in device manager but it somehow wouldn't let me install them successfully.
Have you tried this?

I just solved the problem. You have to disable signature enforcement and then download the driver installer from here (Pick Redmi Note 10S and then choose the Mediatek Driver or click here). Follow the guidelines and that should be it!

Hi!
My One "connects" to my PC when it's booting (that sound), but after that it stays disconnected. While booting it's being recognized as an MTP device. Recovery has the same problem: Until recovery starts it's kinda connected, but when TWRP is started, even sideload doesn't work. And in the booloader the "device enumeration failed". The ROM is ARHD GE 6.1
Does some1 know solutions to those probs?

You definitely have a driver problem. Install the drivers from this thread, that should solve your problems.
Make sure to uninstall all currently installed drivers for your HTC One. For this go to the device manager on your pc. (windows + x, -> device manager)

in fastboot i have a "failed device enumeration", the windows-update from the driver thread doesnt work, it says it isnt applicable for my OS
(8.1pro)
EDIT: was able to install the update now, after uninstalling another one. testing fastboot asap (after a reboot).
EDIT 2: Ok, doesnt work.
i now tested, if OTG works on it. doesnt even recognize that there was a usb cable inserted
I've just got my oneplus 3t, set it up and then started it updating. After a couple of hours it was stuck so I rebooted it like a tool. Now it's stuck on the loading screen. Is there anything I can do with it? I can connect to it via fastboot and adb, but I didn't turn on USB debugging so i can't unlock it or anything. I've tried to manually flash the factory images, but I get a cannot read error.
Any ideas ?
Mine did the same thing when I got it. There is an unbrick guide in the guide section that worked great for me!

Try disabling Driver Signature Verification. Google it, then driver will install just fine.
I've disabled the verification thing but still nothing. The programme doesn't see any devices. Device manager automatically picks up and drivers no matter what I try. Plus the drivers on the thread here are older 32 bit and windows 10 64 fails to recognise them.

Power off your device by holding power button for 40 sec. then hold volume up for like 8-10 secs then insert your dash cable while holding volume up button.
After connecting release volume button. Then keep you device aside after inserting. Open Device Manager from control panel of your PC Under Ports And Com see which driver loaded. It should and must be QDLoader 9008 COM(1-9). If it's not then right click on that driver and click update/upgrade option and connect your pc to internet and click on search automatically. And your pc will automatically search and install that driver for your PC i.e. QDLoader 9008. After successfully installed driver proceed with the unbrick guide from XDA forum of Oneplus 3T. You Will boot into system after that
That doesn't work. It automatically installs the adb driver. ?

Phone came unlocked from seller HongKong Goldway on Aliexpress.
I have tried to download the usb drivers for my laptop which is on windows 10 and a PC running windows 7 and did that update driver thing and tried to use the downloaded winusb_inf file. I've also tried going into windows INF folder and right clicking that wdptmp.inf file and trying "install".
The laptop says Unknown USB device ( Device Descriptor Request Failed) and the PC says Unknown Device. Both are under the USB section on Device Manager
I installed ADB Fastboot tools, turned the phone off and held power + vol down to go into "Fastboot" where it loads a white bunny with a green russian hat holding cords behind a green android robot. Fastboot on the computer doesn't detect any devices.
I also tried Mi Suite and nothing detects. I am using the original usb type C cord and I also tried 3 different usb Type C cords.
Any help guys?? (Also I can't find any update app icon anymore...is that new?)
I want to install TWRP and root so i can do that performance tweak for the mix. and load up a custom rom.

Sounding like you might have a vendor ROM installed, you should follow the guide in the guide's section, follow the guide for installing twrp with vendor ROM. The unlocked bootloader is a sure sign the vendor installed their own ROM.

No follow the guide for the correct install of driver's, disable driver signature in windows 10.

There are 1000s of people on this forum who have done the same thing you are trying to do. So basically you are trying to get China dev ROM installed through miflash, then your PC will recognize it then you can install the rest after.
Search vendor ROM mi mix, even if it isn't vendor ROM sounds like you are still going to follow the same guide.
Have you tried another PC? Don't see anyone else complaining about not detected

i have tried 2 and 3, nothing. method 1's steps didnt really make any sense to me so i didnt do that one.
im dumbfounded because im reading posts on XDA and MIUI forums and theres like 30% of mi mix owners that never found a solution to this while the other portion did easily. I have no idea what I could be doing wrong and I'm starting to think it's the phone and not my laptop. I also found out that when i go into fastboot mode on my mix, it only stays in fastboot mode for like 30 seconds and then ejects itself out of fastboot mode (im not sure if this is normal)
Ive also tried to download older official china roms and tried updating them through the mix's updater option. nothing. what in the hell is going on here?!??!?!

Hey thanks for the reply.
Do you see picture 1 you uploaded, where its device manager and you can see Portable Devices and there you have that One A2001 device that shows up?
I don't have ANYTHING that pops up under portable devices or portable storage.
Mine only has a notification under the USB serial bus controllers. Mine says only this
Now, I know what you mean by trying to install the MTP USB Device, except you can't do that when you have this kind of USB error because it doesn't even detect a device to even update a driver to MTP.
If you read back you'll see that I have tried installing USB drivers before, I've also used the MiFlash tool to install drivers through there. Still nothing. If someone can find a fix I'll paypal them a few bucks for their trouble because I seriously don't know what to do from here. I've searched many forum posts on here, miui forums, reddit and everyone seems to at least have something detect in their Device Manager as a device. OR some people are able to detect their device in ADB boot but mine doesn't and mine also can only stay in fastboot for 30 seconds before it kicks itself out.
I also don't believe I have a vendor rom because it only has 4 numbers despite coming in the mail already with an unlocked bootloadeder.

IDK maybe there is a problem with your charging port.
You can try another thing, If you have another phone with a USB type C port and you have a USB type C to USB type C charging cable, then connect these 2 phone and try transferring files from one phone the to other (Did it with my phone and my friend's Nexus 5X).
Hello,
Just got my new Mi 11 Ultra. Trying to flash Xiaomi.EU ROM but unable to unlock it because the phone isn't detected by mi unlock tool. ADB/fastboot list devices turns up nothing as well.
Tried:

Out of ideas, suggestions appreciated. Suspect it's a drivers thing but my zip folder has no MiUsbDrivers.exe

Thanks for trying. Do you know of a way to at least switch to global rom without going through fastboot/flashing? I remember xiaomi used to have an app that allowed you to switch on the go.
No because you need fastboot to use Miflash for example ..when you do get fastboot to work... Dont forget to disable lock when switch from CN to global rom
Hello, did you try enter in recovery mode in your windows pc?
hold shift > restart pc > choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Choose the F7 "Disable driver signature enforcement". Now try again detect your mobile.
Using my wife`s notebook i have to do this all the time to detect my mi 11 u, if i use mine, i don't have this problem, i just don't know why this happens, but worked for me
I had this issue, when you go adb devices you get empty device list.
HOWEVER!!!!!!! FOR SOME REASON, YOUR DEVICE IS CONNECTED AND DETECTED. Just keep going with your commands. It will go ahead without any issues.
It is a common scenario that also occured with a few of my friends and people in here.

Hello, i got a problem. When i'm turning my xiaomi into fastboot mode my pc doesnt see it. In "normal" mode i can see it, get files from it etc. When i connected my dad xiaomi(same model as mine) it works so its not problem with pc but with my phone probably. What can i do?
Hello ,
your problem is very simple to resolve, its because you didn't install the right drivers, either manually search for in, or use my solution , :
1-Download driver booster from the official website (free version)
2-plug in your smartphone.
3-performe an automatic driver search , from the result select ONLY the driver related to your device , then let it download and install
4-do whatever you was going to do.
5-if it still doesn't recognize it do the same thing with fastboot On, you're good to go.
PS : that worked for me with fastboot On then scan and install.

It says that the drivers are good. I can't do this in fastboot because my pc don't see my phone in fastboot mode, there are not anything in device manager too
Still Try to do it in fasboot, it will work , it worked for me.
Go to tools in driver booster , then clean the devices , turn in fast boot mode , then search for drivers
if it doesnt work you'll have to download manually compatible MTK drivers.

I believe i had a similar issue as you. Except that i had no second device that was same model to test it out. But the rest was in pair with your explanation. I tried installing the latest drivers from the official xiaomi website, removing the old drivers and reinstalling them, restarting laptop, enabling usb debugging on phone...whatever i thought would work but none helped.
Eventually i had it working by installing the latest fastboot driver: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1D96njoYn-n3alu3ggaK3Kw8hMGLKhJVg
After installing it go to Device manager, then under Other devices you will see your Redmi note 9 pro. Right click -> Update Driver -> Browse my computer for drivers.
Select as folder the folder from the drive that you installed, should be named "Fastboot driver-20230301T161058Z-001" or just "Fastboot Driver", it will automatically search for the desired file "android_winusb.inf". Afterwards just press next. Your device should appear in device manager under Android Phones -> Android Bootloader Interface.
Open CMD and check if your device is now under fastboot devices. At least it worked for me. Managed to disable OEM and install the Google Pay app.
