Help I need a backup - Razer Phone 2 Questions & Answers

Hello I have a razer phone 2 a long time ago I wanted to install a specific rom was the lineageOs but the problem is that I also install the recovery by removing the twrp, personally I like it better that is why I tried to change it again but I do not know what It could have passed the recovery if I change but the system is no longer there, I had seen that using the repair or change file system could help to repair the corrupt partitions but it tells me that there is nothing present and when trying to install any file it always gives an error.
A solution that I can think of is to install a backup copy but unfortunately I did not take any and I could not find one online that is why I ask for help to see if someone can provide me with a backup copy of the entire phone since that can possibly revive it.
Thank you

Go HERE: https://developer.razer.com/razer-phone-dev-tools/factory-images/ and download the appropriate image for your device. Follow all the directions for installing ADB/Fastboot drivers and flash the phone from your PC. You'll be up and running in no time. See the forums for installing root and TWRP using arter97-Rxx kernel and additionally look into Magisk V23 for root and customization.

Need help with Maskisk installation

I am looking for a ELI5 installation guide for Magisk. I have very little experience with rooting phones and the guides I have found confuse me. thank you in advanced for the help
Install TWRP.
Flash Magisk zip in TWRP.
Boot up your device.
Install Magisk Manager (for Magisk v12, from v13 it'll be installed automatically).
It's that easy. Of course, there might be compatibility issues, but let's assume there won't be for now and cross that bridge if we get to it.
Looking at the Unlock/Root/etc thread in the X Style forum, you almost had it with the TWRP install. You were doing the correct commands, but using the wrong file. You were trying to install an apk (an app), where you needed to us an image file (*.img). Go back to the thread and you'll see they gave you the link for the proper download.
Links for the Magisk zip and the Magisk Manager are in the release thread.
Also, here's a link to another thread started today on a similar subject. I put a bunch of links and tips in there that may also be useful for you.
Edit:
An important, basic tip when doing things to your device is to always have a backup of important files. Don't leave anything on there that you can't afford to lose.
I have a successfully installed magisk 14.0 from twrp still safety net was showing false so i tried to update through magisk manager but installation keeps on failing for magisk v14.2 now same error with 14.3 it says unable to unpack boot image, any help would be greatly appreciated

Questions about installing Magisk on Tablet

Hello, I need help installing and configuring Magisk on my tablet. Here is why and what I'm trying to do:
On my Samsung SM-T350, I originally installed TWRP and then installed a custom ROM which has root access (as far as I know, stock recovery is no longer on device). I recently installed a particular app and it indicates the program will not run all of the features because it has detected 'root' access. The suggestion online to work around this problem has been to install Magisk.
From this, I first went to the Magisk Manager website and download the 5.4.3apk and installed it. Then when I open the Magisk Manager app, it asks me if I want to 'Install Magisk-v14.0.zip now'. If I click 'install', a list of choices pop up (Download Zip Only, Patch Boot Image File, Direct Install). Which should I choose? I don't remember which of these I tried, but I recall it didn't work or didn't do anything.
So in the mean time, I downloaded the Magisk-v14.0.zip file locally to my tablet (Downloads folder). I 'think' the proper way to install is to boot into TWRP, then select 'Install', then navigate to the Magisk-v14.0.zip and then install image? Is that correct, or will this attempt to install over my custom ROM? What is the proper way to finish the installation?
Thanks in advance!
Does anyone have any suggestions?? Thanks
First - the "Magisk Manager website" is not a place you want to visit. It is not an official source for anything Magisk and should not be trusted. Only download from xda or @topjohnwu's GitHub.
Second - if you're already rooted you need to first unroot. Read more on installing Magisk in the release thread and the Installation and troubleshooting thread. Most, if not all your queries should be answered there.

Need help on trying to install Magisk Root V16 onto my BLU Advance 5.2

Like the title says. I'm trying to install Magisk Root V16 and I read through everything. Still I don't get it. I even search on youtube and it doesn't say exactly what to do only to say read the entire post on xdadevelopers then download a few things on the phone and still nothing.
All the instructions you need are in the release thread.
Before you do anything you need to unlock the bootloader, so if you haven't already, start there. Keep in mind it'll most likely wipe your device, so make sure to have a backup.
Option 1:
Download the Magisk zip and flash it through a custom recovery, like TWRP. Done.
Option 2:
If you don't have a custom recovery, place a copy of your stock boot image on your internal storage, install the Magisk Manager (from the release thread), choose the option to install be patching the boot image (in the Manager), and finally flash the patched boot image (you'll find it in the MagiskManager folder on your internal storage) with fastboot or whatever is applicable to your device. Done.
If nothing works, make sure to provide as much detail as possible. Here's some useful reading about common issues and what logs to provide, etc:

If you need help with the basics (bootloader unlock, custom recovery, etc), do a search here on XDA. You can usually find some good info that way:

[Expert] [GUIDE] Install fully working Android 10 using jarlpenguin's project treble

I recently started experimenting with Android 10 and found a fully working setup. So I'm deciding to share my current setup
#USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!
I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE DUE TO A BAD ROM FILE OR ELSE!#
#BUGS: NFC isn't working on downloadable build
You tell me#
NOTE: you can also use his newer builds. BUT those aren't preconfigured. For patches that you will need see 3rd post!
Requirements: latest twrp from official source,
Oreo firmware.
This Google play services APK:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1V8ByPJx_hOoPpQNrG0LQcXzhHpFflN-I/view
I think that's it
Step 1: Download jarlpenguin's latest treble build here:
https://github.com/MontanaDevelopme.../lineage-16.0-20190713-UNOFFICIAL-montana.zip
Install it and wait for it to go into the lineage is setup screen. Reboot to recovery (you can download a rom by just going through setup, but all installed apps will be wiped!)
Step 2: if you haven't already download a rom of choice with a build date similar to this: 201910##
These builds should work with sim-card and possibly gapps
But I recommend this rom (please extract it first, otherwise you won't be able to flash this) : https://mega.nz/#!EE11mZyC!_45oKcdNv8djsA8CEh2ZVoTDkic3BCpLfFfU9TLUhes
Step 3: wipe system and data and head to the install section
Step 4: hit "install image" in the bottom right corner and navigate to the location of the extracted .img file
Step 5: select "system image" after pressing it and swipe to flash
Step 6: wait for it to boot (this can take quite a while so, please be patient!)
Step 7: when the device is booted, immediately head into the files application and install the Google play services app from the folder you put it in.
Step 8: after a while, the "completing system update" message should disappear. But there still is one problem... As this is a ported rom (I know I didn't mention this before) this still has the "system updater" app. So, you might disable that, otherwise it flashes a incompatible rom file.
ENJOY!
###ROOT###
to root the ROM, you need phh magisk, you should easily find it on Google or a search engine of choice. THE NORMAL BUILDS DON'T WORK, phh magisk is made for Android 10 treble builds using phhussons base or patches. That's why the normal version doesn't work
If you need help, feel free to contact me on telegram! @Rush
Sneak 100 profile picture
###GCAM###
To use gcam you should flash a Magisk module called:
"Several fixes for Moto G5/G5s"
Some apks may still not work though... As I haven't figured one out which 100% works
###Alternative ROMs###
To use alternative ROMs you will need to (most of the time) use a different lineage OS version by JarlPenguin together with only the boot & vendor images listed below:
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=1QztsGvkhURcoCp-FjI40mvUpLp5NHSpj
Also, you know that a room won't boot when TWRP crashes, so don't even try, and no, even though the lineage 17.1 alpha build does "support" project treble, it doesn't have any better compatibility with Android 10 ROMs,
The only ROMs with at least some features I could get running is really just Pixeldust X ported from the pixel 1 using erfans tools
And this also works, of you are using (again) a newer or the latest build together with patches (see boot&vendor images above):
https://sourceforge.net/projects/zj...el-Aonly-10-20191120-GSI.img-1640.7z/download
Don't forget to extract this first! /\
Note: this newer build has NO MOTO GESTURES AT ALL
Sadly, I don't think there is a fix to that
### EVOLUTION X ###
I finally found a build which is working but. Uhhhh is kind complicated to bit to it first time
Basically you follow the normal tutorial, and then replace the advertised build with the latest 202001xx build by jarl
then wait for boot
Then reboot to recovery, and wipe system and data.
Reboot (I know that nothing is installed rn)
Select recovery and boot
Flash the evolution X .IMG fine and hope for it to but crash
Sadly,
There isn't even a guaranteed boot if you do that
But it will do the job good enough
Also, you won't need the GMS services APK anymore as this has everything already updated to ****
Please DONT flash the vendor and boot image patches as these will not allow the device to boot for some godforsaken reason

Magisk on XDA Pro 5g RMX2075

Is there a version of Magisk that works on the realme Pro 5g RMX2075?
I tried the version 20.4 after unlocking the bootloader and installing recovery-TWRP-3.4.1B-04-17-realme-x50-pro-wzsx150, but it fails the signature. If I disable checking the signature on TWRP, it loads but bricks the phone until I re-install the stock boot.img, and then Magisk is not installed.
Providing the install log is usually a good first step when troubleshooting.
And, if you can't get the stable release installed it's usually a good idea to try the Canary release since it might have been updated with more compatibility.

I'm not sure how to find the log, but I'll try the Canary release first, thank you very much for the quick answer.
Being a bit paranoiac (a LOT in fact), I have 2 RMX2075, so bricking is not catastrophic. I can take my time to find how to unbrick it.
Since some manips like unlocking the bootloader wipes everything, it make easier to restore using the clone phone app.
I know, I know, I should get a life...
Edit: just saw the log was a link, I will provide with the canary if it fails too.
Ok, some info I failed to provide:
realme X50 Pro 5G RMX2075
Android 10
realme UI version 1.0
TRWP installed with recovery-TWRP-3.4.1B-04-17-realme-x50-pro-wzsx150, and with the file EN_Recovery-twrp-oneclick-EN.bat.
I need to run this .bat file every time I want to use TRWP, Up (or Down) + Power does not work and gives me the standard bootloader, which I unlocked with the deep testing app.
With Magisk-v20.4.zip the signature test failed. I had the brilliant idea to disable checking it, and it installed and bricked my phone until I used again EN_Recovery-twrp-oneclick-EN.bat to re-install boot.img in the bot partition.
The signature failed also with magisk-debug.zip. I did not try to install without checking it first, once bitten...
The oppo_log directory is empty. Please let me know if there is another place to look. I don't have an ADVANCED directory in TRWP. I checked before rebooting, so instead, I send a screen cap.
I don't see how to attach a file, so here is a link:

You have to disable zip signature validation in TWRP or you won't be able to flash a Magisk zip at all.
The actually recovery log is completely necessary to be able to troubleshoot. The ADVANCED part in TWRP isn't a directory, but one of the buttons on the main page. You'll then be able to save a log and you'll find it in /sdcard. The log has to be saved directly after flashing the zip, or it won't show the info we need.

OK, I'll try later. Thanks for the info.

Same problem with the debug version, unable to reboot.
I used TWRP to create a log.
I'm not sure where it went exactly, here are all the logs I could find in various places, I don't have a /sdcard directory:
https://wetransfer.com/downloads/3f...4d3d4ca52a615682f34f182520200725060951/875fb2
If I missed the correct log, please let me have some info where to find it exactly and I'll try again. Now that I could unbrick twice my phone, I feel safer!
Thanks.
