rooting help needed: firmware file?

so now i have a nice upgraded android after bricking my device first
anyway, i'm on the latest firmware for now, but i cannot find any way to root it.
all topics i found so far say i first need to downgrade to the kk .108 rom, which is fine,
however, i cannot find any file location for this firmware.
Can someone point me out , either to:
* a downloadable kk 108 firmware
or
* a way to root the 14.6.a.1.236 firmware
or
* some other firmware i can install to root android
or
* a best practices ( including files) on how to get my custom rom capability back?
i was on mx rom 7.5, but trying to flash it / upgrade it to 7.8, but i accidentially removed the os ( stupid me)
Anyway, my device: xperia c6903, stock 14.6.a.1.236 firmware, unlocked bootloader
windows pc: working adb shell and flashtool installed
any help would be appreciated

Att note 3. Need root help.

I want to root my note 3 so I can download and use game guardian or something similar. I'm on android 5.0, do I got to downgrade to get root access? If so could someone help guide me?

You must flash 4.4.4 kitkat then you can root and flash another rooted ROM or a rooted 5.0 lolipop.

Sorry for my noobish question, but i just buy today an old stock rom P9 and want to make a complete custom and I read much but want to be sure about 2 or 3 things
I have read about unbranded phone, how can I know that
is the procedure to root and install TWRP is the same with my firmware and 6.0 rom, because I find a lot of tutorial about 6.0 root but none for 7.0
if yes, I have to unlock bootloader, root and install TWRp and that'it???

It's seem that 7.0 rom have big drain...Is 6.0 is less drain or have I to install different kernel to solve it????

the version you used is in bit 3, not 4.
hey op, i suggest to wait for another year if you want root, don't try to go back android 9, or else you will get bricked.

Galaxy M31 Help with applying a rom

I wanted to root (and apply a rom on) my Galaxy M31 but either the few tutorials out there confused me or I coudnt find anyone to help with my questions.
I heared I should apply a rom first and after that root my phone. Is that correct? (cause i think so ill skip questions for rooting)
My phone is currently on Android 11 is that a problem?
There is only a LineageOS version for Android 10 is that a problem? (or is there maybe another OS that has Android 11 Support for my device)
How do I backup my device and what can not be.
And how do I apply the rom and root it?
Is it easy to update the firmware on a phone with a custom rom which is rooted?
Its a phone from the eu and I can unlock the bootloader in the dev settings
