my phone needs a new battery. After looking around i have seen that the 9T has a 4000mAh (BP41) battery. Is it possible to use it in my mi9?

I'm using it for several months now without issues. I've got it due to multiple recommendations on telegram.
So far I didn't see any negative feedback for it.
You can just replace your battery with a compatible one. The one from the 9T shouldn't be compatible. Also I suspect all other batteries with higher capacities than the official one are just fake advertising. I have actually one 7000mAh and it is no more than 3300. But working ok though.
The mentioned battery by me isn't fake advertising, it's actually slightly thicker than the original battery. But thinking that a 7000 mAh battery would fit in the same space... lol

I tried them. Only used it a couple of times. The battery takes forever to charge in the included wall charger. Also, my OEM 3100 mah battery lasts much longer. I'm sure there are better alternatives.

Use anker battery's with my last 3 devices and also with my note 2, one battery in the charger while the other in the device. ..
Swap once every day and a half or so

I can't say exactly but it is a noticeable difference. I am a heavy user and dont have tocharge normally until I go to bed. With the Yesoo, I had to charge by the evening. Three batteries came with it and I have only used one. I'll probably try thr others out.

A note to you from my Note 2.
Here is my advice. All these extended batteries dont worth your money. I had tried many with Note 1 and was just a waste of money. Stick with the original.
anyone has experience with ankers for the note 2 i used them on my s2 and they were alright.. how bout the note 2. torn between ankers of the official spare batt using the 50% coupon
That if I remember correctly, are 3100 mah battery with a 3500 mah sticker. Avoid.

I recognize that this is a "necropost", but since the Note 2 is still a current phone, and this particular cell is still being sold for it, I wanted to alert potential YESOO buyers to this:

Does that mean you switched from N2 to S4?
Btw, no surprise about the battery. Any stock size battery with higher than stock capacity is a dead giveaway of fake. Gets harder to weed it out when they claim the same capacity as stock or double size extended with double capacity. In those cases, I would only trust Anker, Hyperion, and Mugen.

I did just switch from the N2 to the S4, but this battery is the S4 battery, not the N2 battery. I just saw this thread about the YESOO cell for the N2, and thought I'd share the info about the S4 cell.
A dishonest company is likely dishonest across the board with all their cells. In this case, factory stock is 2600, and that's what YESOO claimed, but in reality, they used a 2050 cell.

Those Chinese batteries always indicate higher than they actually are. Stay away from them, they're junk.
I had the same experience with the Samsung S4.
It's a marketing scam. The 3000mAh battery is pretty big itself, cramming extra 3300mAh is impossible without size increase (think about cell count)
Save yourself from stress & problems, get the 3000mAh one (and OEM if you find)
I tell you from experience that do not rely on the Chinese mh, are not real never
Go with a genuine part. If it swells or leaks, it will damage your phone.
I'm testing the Note 5 and so far have been loving the phone, quite an upgrade from my Note 2 but my issue is with the battery, I went through 3 batteries on my note 2, and was using a modified otterbox with a 6400mah battery. I am working on limiting battery drain with package disabler pro and disabling other things but I'm sure that battery cases will be coming and that should eliminate the issue. I did see the thread about zerolemon possibly making one, and the other samsung wireless charge case that's not out yet.
They all seem to limit functionality of the phone however, hoping something will come out that doesn't eliminate the camera or s-pen while in use.
I am interested in this too. I am still on the fence about getting a new phone. I'm stupidly happy with my note 2 and 9300 mah zerolemon battery. Heck, I'm still on jellybean. I don't want to deal with external battery packs and (obviously) don't mind the bulk that an extended battery case would add.

Can you tell me where can I buy an original battery replacement for my Mi Note 3? My battery is working fine now, but I don't want to end up buying a crappy battery from AliExpress in a year. My experience with AliExpress is that all of the batteries work fine at first, but they degrade fast. Also the capacity is usually not the same as the one that is advertised. Thanks
There is couple of models on AliExpress around 10$ they are. Even couple of them they sell as "original" . Look for max charge since if it is not good QC 3.0 wont work.

I'm also wondering which one to choose. I had an experience with Redmi note3 I've bought an "original" at Ali, - price was around 15$ and it seems to be slightly lower capacity abt 3-3,5 hours of screen instead of 5-6.
I previously had Mi 5 and on Mi 5 forum several people recommended Nohon brand of batteries. I ordered one because my original battery was terribly weak (~1600mAh out of initial 3000) and after using the Nohon one for one month it looks quite OK (AccuBattery reports capacity ~3000mAh again).
Maybe someone will be useful...
I bought here. this is not the original, but the quality is very good, the capacity is slightly less than the original.
The running time almost does not differ from the original. Using it for several months - everything ok.
Is there a high-capacity battery available for the Note 8 SM-N950U, something more in the 4000 mAh range like the Note 9? I'm not talking about the corny things that snap on the back and then recharge your battery, I'm talking about one that is the same size as the original, or a one that piggy backs onto the phone and augments the battery capacity of the original, not a power brick you charge from.
PS: I mean a real one, not a vendor that lies about the capacity.

Is Samsung can't do it, no one else can.

I was afraid of that because the Note 8 is isn't that old. I've seen the 18650 Li-Ions go from 2100 to 3600 so I was hoping to find something for the Note 8, or at least a case with a pretty flat battery that could add to its capacity. The only thing I see are the ones that charge the phone battery from the case battery.

The original Samsung Note 4 battery was 3220 mAh. The typical replacement battery these days is 3600 mAh, so an original 3300 mAh Note 8 now having one that is 3700 mAh wouldn't be too crazy.

I once put an 8000 Mah battery into a Note 3. Jumped from 3200 to 8000, back in the days of removable battery. I think, you could do it. The problem being is that it'd be difficult to find a battery of a higher mah.

We are just trying to save the OP, the time and energy to find something that Samsung already perfected (for those physical dimensions). Anything else is an explosive Note 7 (all over again).
The OP's question is basically asking: "how to fit a truck battery in our Note 8, just to get a few more mAh". Apple, Samsung, and other manufacturers, finally got the formula right in my opinion. My phone lasts 2 days if I'm not gaming on my phone constantly

To make a jump like that normally means a larger back cover with removable batteries. That would work up through the Note 4. For the Note 8 or 9, it would require a new back cover. I could make one easily enough from plastic, but I don't know how it would affect the strength integrity of the phone because I'm half guessing that a good amount of its strength comes from the back cover. The only thing they make for them is a thicker case with a piggy-back battery for charging the main battery and no fast charging.
