Greetings, I read on another forum that the AT&T branded S21 ultra now supports e-sims after the latest update. Does it now also support dual sim standby via one nano sim and one esim?
yes, i'm using an eSim and nano-Sim in my AT&T S21 Ultra and DSS is enabled. one line is for personal calls and the other is my business number.

Was it easy to activate the esim, and did you have to go into a store to get it done

Very easy and yes, in my opinion, you should go to the att store to activate the eSim in case there are any problems.

Is it possible to enable my AT&T Tilt and/or the SIM card to allow for dual NAM's??

I don't believe that this is possible - no - you have to have what USED TO BE CALLED a "dual nam phone". You are going to find (if you do a search) that there are adapters that they SAY can do this - but I think that you are working harder than you are going to want to in making this work.

I agree with whk, but how come my Kaiser has the option for swapping lines under Start/Settings/Phone/ALS?
Any ideas?

I have Start>Settings>Phone - but NONE of MY options have an ALS - there are TABs at the bottom of my screen with:
Phone
Services
Network
PIN
Band
Pin2
TTY
TimeZones
More
And none of those have ALS on them?
It MIGHT be the ROM you are using has the option?
Bill
Could be my ROM version (Laurentius Multimedia) but I remember seeing this option with all my previous roms.

Hi all,
do both SIM sockets support LTE/4G (switchable)?
Or is it like:
slot 1 = 2G/3G/4G
slot2 = 2G only
??
Thanks for your reply!
its 4g /3g
I'm not really sure but it should be 4g for both sims but you can use 4g with only one sim per time and you should also switch 4g on the sim while the phone is turned on. Let us know.
OK so does it mean I can use two SIM cards and choose on which one I want to use 4G data? It is not necessary to physically swap the cards?
Yes you can switch thst in the settings menu.
Data activated sim kart will work 4G, second one reduce to 3G.
In settings menu, when you change data sim kart, phone switch immediately.
Not unplug and plug to soft switch.
So yes, both sim slots supports 4G.

Just flash the Verizon firmware using patched Odin
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s10/how-to/g975u-g975u1-firmware-links-t3905897
HD voice is just that, high def voice calls
VoLTE is what they term the entire thing, but that also allows data+voice
my unlocked s10 on verizon allows all, including wifi calling.

Hello [email protected] is good contact email.
So long story short. My phone is att phone, been using on starlight talk for a year or so. The screen broke. Got it fixed and no longer worked. I called straight talk they said Verizon bought straight talk I would need a Verizon sim. I got the sim in the phone and it asked me for network unlock code. Took me 4 days but got a code. The phone stopped prompting me for code so I used *7465625*638*# and entered unlock code. CODE successfull!!! OK so I reboot phone. My mobile network setting finally showed up. I chose the Verizon apn in the apn settings. Phone reboots again and all settings dissappear again. I would pay someone to help me get phone working again. I have more sim cards I purchased just don't know what I'm doing. Thank you.
Phone displays No sim No service with sim in.

I suppose they've removed the old 90 day requirement for sim unlocking, although being able to unlock your bootloader out of the box is nice. Think I'm done going through t-mobile and possibly just repairing my old 8t since those aren't locked down, and has rom support.
