I installed Lineage 14.1. It's working fine.
But I think there's an issue with the sound.
That apart, it's all good.

I'm a university student and also studying about AOSP ROM and gsi ROMs
and today I have successfully flashed my old SM-G885S (Galaxy A8 Star) using the gsi ROM
so I want to share the weird process for this phone (while doing this I haven't found any post that related to this phone so at least I want to share the experience)
