I'm having a problem with call waiting, people ar calling me and they get the busy tone eve if call waiting option is enabled, it's just me having this problem or it's common, is there a way to fix it? I am pretty disappointed of this phone, eve the stables releases of firmwares are buggy and realme doesn't even borrow to give a feedback to E-mail or bug reports.
Waiting call is enabled on phone and network provider, phone is with Android 11, RMX3081_11_A44 Europe.
Well this is based on ROM settings and location settings. If provider can enable 2 lines there is no problem as you set and it's enabled.
Mine is working on GDPR rom.
Check the Engineer settings ?
Refuse to work, i did a phone reset and didn't help, if I insert the Sim-card in other phone call waiting is working. Why should I do on engineer mode?

My TyTN II is no more than one month old. Radio and ROM are all stock and I never tried any custom ROMs nor did I install hardSPL on it. The problem is all of a sudden I can't make any calls. If I dial a number it just says Call Ended following with couple of silent beeps. If someone call me they got to my voicemail. The strange thing is that after couple of retries, it works, I can make a call but then after another try, it stops working again.
In all that time, sending and receiving SMS works normally.
And now the very strange part of the problem. If I switch to 3G mode, everything is ok. No problems at all. If I switich back to GSM only mode, the problem is back.
I've contacted HTC in my country (I'm somewhere in Europe ) and all they can say is, hard reset your phone and if that does not work, send it for repair.
I consider that a valid response and I'm about to do just that but before I go and erase all of my applications and settings from my phone (which will take me ages to get them back) I was wondering if someone has previous experiance with this sort of a problem and if it can be fixed without hard reseting the phone.
I have the same issue but when I turn G3 mode ON. I can not make call with auto G3 mode on (I have to try a lot of times to make a simple call). If I use only GSM its works ok.
Zol
I have the same problem, i cannot make a call on 3g network only on GSM. I took the phone to the service and they said i had to change the motherboard it costs ~335 EUR. F*ck
Can anybody tell me an alternative solution?
Has anyone been able to get the priority interruptions feature to work on their P20? If I enable Do not Disturb and have someone call me repeatedly it doesn't make any noise or vibrate. I missed an important call because the repeated calls feature either doesn't work or I've configured it wrong.
Attached are screenshots of the settings. Priority Interruptions are enabled, and repeated calls are enabled too. The only way I've gotten it to work if is by explicitly whitelisting someone. I was able to configure and test that the feature works exactly how you'd expect on a Pixel 2 and an LG v20.
I have the same problem. Do you found a fix ? Its a good function if its a emergency without whilisting all contacts...
Jeez..So another huge bug without a fix in a recent firmware update? Or maybe they are waiting with a fix in Android P as it seems with all the bugs with this phone.
This feature is working only for unsaved contact in emui 8.0
While in emui 5.0 it was working perfectly like other OEMs for saved and unsaved contact also
According to shameless Huawei they will call it as implementation
So according to Huawei if your brother/family/friends number is saved and he met with accident and if he try to call when your in dnd mode,it won't ring and you to let them 2 die
Else don't save any numbers
This is such an huge bug
And they are not able to fix this issue
Never again buy Huawei phones
Hi there.
I have Note 9 without any brand. Updated to newest firmware that existed and about two updates ago there was problem - i cant make any calls. Restarts one helps, and other time don`t help at all. And now - it was no use to restart phone because of this problem. I felt that it might be this problem and i turned off this option and tried to make call - and nothing. Only when i restarted phone again - i can make phone calls normally like before. This problem exists not everytime, it looks like when i make call to my second phone it is only "connecting..." at my note9, and other phone is ringing. And there is two kind of behavior, first - in note i cant hear anything, just this "connecting..." message, and other phone after few seconds hangs up and ask about reconnect. And second - after few seconds after receiving call it finally works but it have take some time between receiving call at second phone and hearing anything. Its lottery.
Now i have this option disabled, phone is restarted and now i can make calls. I contacted Samsung via chat (samsung members app) and via Twitter and they said to me to go to their service to diagnose or sth, but i know what i will hear at service: "please reset your phone to factory settings and if then this issue will be present we will take your phone and try to repair it" but i don`t want to do this because of all this configuration and hours of clicking... I dont like to do this when i dont have to.
So my question - do you have similar or the same problem? Is WiFi calling have anything to do with sim provider?

Well need a few things to be able to help.
Carrier?
Model? I'm guessing N960I1?
What is the firmware version you're on?

And I'm assuming the carrier Support Wi-Fi calling right? It may be a provisioning issue. You should try contacting your carrier and verify Wi-Fi calling is a feature and that they support it on your device. They should also be able to help you activate it if they support it.
I wrote that it was working normally before, and now it stops. I`ve had this thing working.
I've had an ongoing battle with my ability to make calls/text with this device, I initially thought it was at the carriers end but I was perplexed because my SIM works fine in other devices and they are unable to find anything wrong.
Last night I opted to try a full factory reset, I had already done multiple prior in an effort to find a resolution but this time I opted to do it without immediately connecting my phone to WiFi during the setup portion. What I found was two things, all the texts that had failed to come in did and my talk and text was now completely usable. Also the ZTE Locker, which is ZTEs embedded lockscreen wallpaper app was now functioning again. Prior to this it had stopped working and was stuck on one static image (it is suppose to change the lockscreen wallpaper every time you turn on the screen on your device and the images update everyday over Wifi). Unfortunately as soon as I connect my phone to WiFi without any notification I believe the phone does some form of update as within seconds my phones ability to make calls/text breaks along with the ZTE locker. I have attempted to disable any auto updates under the system updates in settings before connecting to Wifi, but unfortunately that does not work as it does not appear to be a full on OS change. Is there any way to disable any updates that are not manually approved when I connect to Wifi? I have reached out to ZTE support and they have escalated the issue to their senior R&D team. However I don't want to wait until a new update before I can have a functioning phone.
Just as a note, the issue appears to be particular to 3G calls (although I am not sure why I am failing to receive some texts). In Canada our carriers do not enable VoLTE with phones that are pretty much not Samsung/Apple or have been bought directly from them. Because of this any out of market phones like One Plus and ZTE that are unlocked and compatible only get calling through 3G, which is normally fine. I can get VoLTE briefly if I put my SIM in a carrier approved phone and switch it to my ZTE and it appears to work (until my carrier recognizes the IMEI and blocks it). So this may be why not everyone is experiencing this issue (if they have VoLTE). Anyways any help would be greatly appreciated as I am at my wits end.
I'm in the USA and have had zero issues on T-Mobile, but when I got the phone I had to manually put in the T-Mobile APN settings to make sure everything liked texts and data worked correctly. I have many T-Mobile devices so I know exactly how to set the APN. Are you sure that your APN is set correctly for the network you are on? I know that most phones set the APN according to the sim card you insert, but I have found many Chinese phones that DON'T. Once I set it manually that usually solves all the problems.
Also, how did you reach out to ZTE support? I'm trying to get ahold of them to give them feedback to DISABLE the obnoxiously loud camera shutter sound in the next software update, but aside from spamming their Facebook page, I don't know how to get ahold of them.
Thanks for the reply, oddly there is no option on my Axon Ultra to add APN settings. Only the default ones are available, although they do look to be correct for the most part I would love trying to add them manually. Someone in another forum who was also having issues (with another Canadian carrier) spoke with a rep and they stated that they would be releasing an update shortly with the manual APN option. My data and MMS appear to be working fine however so I am not too optimistic that will be the fix. You can contact ZTE on their website, if you go to their contact page you will see a little pop on the bottom right hand corner for chat. In reality it is mostly a messaging service as it never appears to be actually online but they do appear to be respond somewhat promptly to message sent via email. Just as a heads up, I don't recall specifically where I think it was a review but I do believe they have made a statement already saying they will patch out the loud shutter sound.
May I ask if your phone works fine with VoLTE disabled? Unfortunately since all non carrier approved devices are denied VoLTE in Canada my main experience has been with 3G calls failing.
I'm in Finland. Having so much problems with call's that i can't use the phone. Problems answering call's and phone also keeps cutting call's. I sent mail to Zte support. Probably have to wait for update and hope for the best.
Hey, they released an update today. It now allows you to input your own APN settings manually. Look up your carriers and add your own. Even though the automated ones were right making my own manual ones has fixed the issue for me it seems.
I've a strange behavior with Xiaomi A2. When I try to make a call and the one I'm calling is already on a call and they have call waiting enabled, my phone doesn't display anything like "Waiting" or something! How can I fix this? I tried checking the settings but no luck.
