Hi
I recently bought a new Pixel 5a phone and I'm having issues with video playback from services as YouTube, Netflix, Facebook and Instagram.
In all platforms the video shows with green and fucsia bars, look this video for an example
I update the phone to Android 12L beta and problem still persist, I leave the program and the problem continues, I downloaded the latest image from pixel page and flashed but the problem continues.
Any idea to solved it?
Edit: This is related to this issue?

Ever since I upgraded to MicroMod777's Gingerbread ROM, my YouTube HQ videos will not play properly. The audio will play without any problem, but the video will just get stuck on one frame; it is not a matter of streaming it or anything like that.
I used to have the MIUI Froyo-based ROM and stock Froyo before that, and there were no such issues. A Google search has also not revealed any answers. Initially I thought it was just an early version (v.10) glitch... but yesterday I upgraded to v.19 and still have the same problem! I don't know if this is a Gingerbread issue, ROM issue, Nexus One issue or YouTube issue. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
You need to flash the zip stated in op. You went and Google search, but didn't bother reading the entire first post. Amazing.
Running Nexus 1, stock, unrooted. Upgraded to Gingerbread OTA. While its fixed a lot of issues, its created a new really annoying one that I am hoping someone can help with. If I try to log into a video camera with sound, either it wont load or if it finally does, the audio and video are over 1 minute out of sync. This is the same regardless of wifi or 3G. Tried using an app like Tiny Cam Pro, same issue. Video loads fine, audio takes over 1 minute and then it runs buffered so it plays from the beginning but video is 1 minute ahead. Trying to connect over the standard browser, it just churns with "Loading Video". Never had a single issue with Froyo as this worked perfectly and started immediately.
Anyone else see a similar issues (i see the exact same issue with a friends N1 2.3.3 trying to connect so its not just my phone) and know how to resolve other than downgrading?
Thanks
Hi,
I recently purchased a One Plus 3t, ever since when i playback normal videos present on facebook (not uploaded by me) the playback is of very low quality. I did go through the various forum and tried to find an answer for this however not able to get it. I did change the video setting using browser to "HD when available" which was what was being suggested. I tried youtube and I didnt face any issues,,Can someone help..

Facing Same problem in my Le 1s
I am also facing same problem in my LeECO le 1s mobile, tried multiple fixes but didn't work. Also, Its not easily available on online forums as a known issue. I tried cleaning everything related to the fb app from the storage which seemed to work temporarily but it started again. let me know if you come across any permanent working solution.
I am using an Xiaomi Mi 9 T Pro 128GB with Xiaomi.Eu FW Version 9.12.27 and an open bootloader but no root.
The last months i was using Amazon Prime Video on the device without any problem. I streamed Content or downloaded files to watch them without online connection.
Two or three days ago, when i wanted to use it again, i could start the video, i heard the sound, but the screen went black and i couldn´t see the video. No matter if i tried to stream a video or tried to watch a downloaded video, the screen turned black. And there was no difference which video resolution i streamed or downloaded.
After a research online i found this and some other articles...
https://www.xda-developers.com/redmi-k20-k20-pro-support-amazon-prime-video-hd/
In this article you can read that Amazon "HD" will not work if you have an open bootloader. So far so good, i mean... not good... but good to know...
So what i do not understand is the fact that i can´t see any video. The device chooses HD Content and i can´t change it to SD or any other resolution. And if i download a video with the smallest video size available, it´s also not possible to watch it. The screen turns black...
And the second thing i don´t understand, why did it work before, at a time when there was no official support from amazon?
Soooo... is there any fix or workaround for that problem? Can anyone help?
thx in advance...

This only happens in beta versions of MIUI that came after December 12th. To resolve, use a stable version of MIUI or go to a beta earlier or equivalent to the 12th update.
Netflix and Amazon Prime working again in K20 Pro
I also had this issue with beta rom , solved this by installing "libemocrypto disabler" module in magisk , now netflix and amazon prime both working fine.
I have a pixel C, all of a sudden it stopped streaming or downloading videos/ programmes from my5, all4, itv.com. it will play trailers but not the actual programme. BBC I player is fine.
I assumed it was because it has stopped updating ages ago. . Rooted and flashed Android 10, with lots of help from this forum! Everything working fine as far as the OS and all apps are concerned but the issue is the same.
My Samsung mobile steams everything perfectly on the same WiFi network.
Used my phone to tether, same problem.
Tried every solution on the internet, no change.
Anybody got any ideas, please?
