So the G025I varient supports bands 77 and 78.The US varient, G025E,supports band 77 only. The thing is band 77 is actually a subset of band 78.So it makes
me wonder.
I wonder if we can flash UK.EU, AU firmware on a US model and if that would open those bands--if the hardware was physically identical between the I and E varients.

[Q] Stuck on EDGE data connection.

Hey there.
I bought my Moto G v2 a few weeks ago in the US, but I live in New Zealand. Because of this, my data connection is stuck on edge here (woo hoo 0.19mb/s download).
Does anyone have the modem files or something?
Did you check the 3g band used by your carrier?
Its unlocked?

"2 Degrees uses GSM900MHz (older 2G technology), UMTS 2100MHz (new 3G technology) and also can use GSM1800MHz and UMTS900MHz"
I have the US version of the phone, which uses different frequencies to the international version.
Yes, it's unlocked.
I was under the impression that it is a hardware thing and you'll not get 3g there with the US model.

2G bands GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G bands HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 - Global model

As I understand USA model is missing the 900 and 1800band for 3g
Is unlikely that will work but you can check this thread you might find something

Correct frequency bands support in X526 (indian Le 2)

Hi,
As Lemall india is already dead, I don't find any reliable source to confirm what are the frequency bands supported by my Le 2.
As per flipkart:
GSM - 850, 900, 1800, 1900 (2/3/5/8);
WCDMA - 850, 900, 1900, 2100 (1/2/4??/5/8);
4G LTE (FDD) - 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/20,
LTE (TDD) - 38/40/41
Now, lets check on frequencycheck.com
GSM : 850, 900, 1800, 1900
UMTS: B1 (2100), B2 (1900), B5 (850), B8 (900), B34 (2000), B39 (1900)
LTE:
B1 (2100)
B3 (1800 +)
B7 (2600)
B38 (TD 2600)
B39 (TD 1900 +)
B40 (TD 2300)
B41 (TD 2500)
The data on different sites varies a lot..
I am planning to go US and wanted to check what bands are supported by Le 2?
Help will be appreciated.
Regards
I have x520 .
Thanks. I will check my box. Hope the information on it is correct.
The box for my phone suggests flipkart is right

GM1910 carrier compatibility in US

I noticed the supported frequencies differ slightly on the US and China product specs, specifically the GM1910 China model is missing FDD-LTE bands 30 and 71, but includes band 32.
GM1910 (China)
FDD LTE: B1,2,3,4,5,7,8,12,13,17,18,19,20,25,26,28,29,32,66
TDD-LTE: B34,38,39,40,41
TDS: B34,39
UMTS: B1,2,4,5,8,9,19
CDMA: BC0,BC1
GSM: B2,3,5,8
GM1915 (US)
FDD LTE: B1,2,3,4,5,7,8,12,13,17,18,19,20,25,26,28,29,30,66,71
TDD-LTE: B34,38,39,41,46,48
UMTS: B1,2,4,5,8,9,19
CDMA: BC0,BC1
GSM: B2,3,5,8
How will this affect carrier compatibility? I've seen it is possible to flash OxygenOS ROMs on the GM1910, how does this work if the hardware is slightly different to support different frequencies?
