im wondering if there is a way to make the WhatsApp notification works as always to get the notification or show the massage we received as what I discover is I should open the mobile or enter the app of WhatsApp to make the messages received !!
i give all the access permissions in the setting
Hello, i dont have problem with the notifications, works fine.maybe you should unistall and install again.
When you open the first time an application this is the permission.

It very seems like, it's not a "everyone" problem. I think the server or the notification region isn't set for OP 10 Pro on his site.
DUDE! This is happening with the Realme 9pro+ that I bought! Shoot! Seems it's some crazy issue with ColorOS!
Is this happening with specific Phones or all the mobile Phones have been effected.?
Whatsapp is sh*t don't give it permissions and see how long it takes you get banned also when some messages comes late don't worry it doesn't walk away relax and i can't get rid of some notifications they always come back in the 10 pro like Facebook that app doesn't have too run all the time u turned off every background activity, auto launch and even recent task manager lock all gone and they keep coming back
One thing I've got a problem with regarding WhatsApp is video playback, it's truly awful.

Whenever I want to share something in the Gallery, I'm often wanting to push it to Facebook and my stupid share list has grown so large I can't even see Facebook in the list anymore. Yes, Tweetdeck might could work, although it's great for quick views it's missing a lot of stuff the Facebook app itself has.

Anyone ever seen a way to limit this list, except removing apps? I don't use several of them often, and don't want to send a jpg into most of them, but I don't know of any way to change it.
I assume what shows here is all apps which can receive a jpg.. If I clear the Gallery settings, I believe this list shrinks for a while but before long the apps are all back in the list.
I have the same thing, although at least my Facebook is reachable. No idea what's even off the top of the screen lol

I removed a few apps and now I see Facebook, but.. Bleh... I think it must put them in the order they enumerate, I recall at one point thinking if I ran Facebook first or last, maybe it'd stay at the bottom of the list where I could reach it.
Might sort them top-down as most-used... Awesome
This icon keeps popping up constantly and randomly. When I tap it it takes me to Facebook Messenger and there's nothing new there. I did a full factory reset and it's still there. Any ideas why it pops up or how to kill it? I disabled badges but this still shows up in the app.

another reason to hate that intrusive, obnoxious, annoying app Facebook..
Facebook:
you get what you deserve.
just the name transpires shallowness.
Well, I dont like facebook and everything related, Bk took good care of that, but, it seems op uses it, so, if some facebook user knows how to help him, do it

Agreed. I hardly use FB these days and when I do , it's via Samsung browser. I do have FB messenger Lite installed however. Here's a kicker, if I press that messenger icon it opens the Play Store for me to load and install the full flavor version of FB messenger.

My N8 is rooted and used Titanium to get ride of FB and a few other annoying apps. Generally use web to access sites in lieu of an app.
For anyone searching: I uninstalled Facebook Messenger, cleared that problem notification, and then reinstalled Messenger.
Good for you, I really liked the title of the thread
Notification: "Allow the WAP Push application to receive messages..." What to do??
I don't understand what this is all about. I just got this phone last week, and ever since it was up and running, including first boot (if I recall correctly), I've had this cell-tower-like icon in my upper left corner. Always. Swiping down from the top reveals the following notice, and I'm given the chance to allow or deny.

Googling the content of this notice doesn't yield anything very informative, so I have a few questions:
1.) Is this coming from some app that can be disabled or uninstalled if I choose? Or is it part of the Android Oreo OS itself?
2.) What does it do if I allow it? Might it be useful or just some kind of spam?
If it's relevant, this phone was the international version, with the firmware probably Chinese (but of course I switched the language to English). Thanks for any info/help!

WAP push allows photos, URL links, wallpaper, ringtones, etc etc, to be directly embeded into SMS messages, so long as the sending server has it enabled.
It's an effort to bring SMS up to the speed of instant messaging, although it's probably a bit too late to catch up. Enabling it doesn't mean it'll work either, it has to be enabled with your service provider also.
I have mine disabled, effected nothing.
Theres quite a good explanation on StackOverflow
Hello there.
I am still rather new to android but understand some things. For example, I have note 10 pro with Arrow OS installed on it. Wanted it for privacy (thanks xioami, had to give them all details to unlock bootloader, woops) and get rid of bloat.
I have noticed on my last charge that microg services seem to be running. Which seems odd to me as I have disabled it (from settings app), and don't have many apps which need it. (ones which do are disabled also)
So my question is, what could be cause for it using 33℅ battery?! And where can I get further logs to understand what's going on.
If I'm running 33℅ on service I don't use, then that could be extra day or 2 for me not charging.
Pictures for reference

Here's just showing its run as a background app.
Sorry for noob first question, with full ambiguity. Please be gentle
I have come to realise that I may have disabled it, but I have rebooted my phone a few times so it probably would re-enable.
Question still stands, can I get further logs to understand why its using 33%? Thanks
Try investigate further with betterbatterystats (grab it from xda or play store). Grant any permissions that requires (root isn't mandatory). In my old experience with microg, it might be caused by the cloud messaging service, try to increase the ping intervals to 10 minutes or greater. But your case might different.
Hi,
since the update (via OTA) of my 11 Ultra to MIUI 14 (official rom), I constantly get the following notification:
"NFC tag detected
Looks like you haven't interacted with detected NFC tags for a long time. Your device won't read or write tags for n..."
the text ends there and tapping on the notification does not do anything. Pressing on it only gives me the snoozing button and the settings button, which redirects me to the NFC Service on the phone where the "show notifications" is on and cannot be turned off.
Is anyone else experiencing this? I have tried disabling this via ADB following this guy's suggestion but no luck.

any help?
thanks
gotta be the online one i guess...
Getting this too, typical MIUI software design stupidity.

I just can't believe no one else has complained about it. I'm literally thinking of changing my phone because of it. I get this notification every 5 minutes and it hits won't go away!!
