1. Copy ViperOS zip, 8.1.0 gapps zip and Combifix v3.1 to your device
2. Boot into twrp recovery
3. Wipe cache, system, vendor & data
4. Flash ROM
5. Flash gapps
5a Reboot and setup phone
6. Flash Magisk 18.0 and MagiskHidePropsConfig in 1 take with CombiFix3.1 to pass SafetyNet - btw : NO NEED TO FIX NFC lag !
7. Reboot and enjoy !

I shared it for treble users,not know it could have impact on a dev that ported a ROM.
I shared it for this ROM also,maybe it give more advantages compared to vendors we already have and where is not known which one to use.
Oh wait we don't need to flash vendor for this ROM,lol I forgot

Viper OS it's a good thing, I remember my HTC m9 with viper on it, was amazing, but how it can compare with latest pure stock mod rom? maybe someone trying this one already

Dolby atmos does not work,but dolby digital plus does.Combined with sauron mod and custom config file,the audio quality is ok (come close to dolby atmos)
But this rom got same bugs as earlier los15 builds.Turning of wifi acces for apps force close settings.Security patch is on reboot random from 2018,other time its from 2019.Random safetycheck fails/true in magisk
Also on every reboot,magisk modules are not shown in app drawer.I need to wipe cache and dalvik everytime in twrp to fix this issue (dont know the cause).
The vendor partition also contains files where i have my ? on it.What does the vendor/etc/perf folder do? Well i think it boost the vendor system,but its not needed? Ive just wiped the folder from vendor partition (ive notice this folder boost display touch also to 1036mhz on any moment you touch it,and it stays on that freq)
And the feull gauge problem still persist.

Perfect rom for me, very smooth, light, include enough tweaks and optimization, after long time searching I have found what I need.
Now I got guaranteed 6h of comfort watching youtube vanced, it can be even 7h, with my old ~80% life battery , for me it's success, compare to other roms, so I can recommend it for trying to everyone, thanks for this topic
PS. Can't find any problems with magisc modules, I use this rom without any kernels or vendors, just flash it with beangapps, ainur, and etc. Audiofx to me it's not ideal, so I remove it with installation musicfx, By the way, can't find working Dolby Atmos, DD+ works but sound is terrible, I like what I hear without dolby, and even do not want to go back to a clean and optimized latest stock mod, because viperos suits me good

Switched to this rom from DotOs after I found out my banking app doesn't work with any of the 9.0 GSIs. First impressions seem great. A few features Dotos had are missing but there are other ones which it didn't have. Battery life seems better with Schwifty kernel v5. Thanks!

Im testing this Rom for 1 day straight now and I have to admit for me, it is the most stable and even the fastest Rom. :good:
I never thought that the build in camera app is so good, even has hdr and slow motion, 1080p 60 fps and 4k recording is no problem at all
Extremly light, no junk apps at all and lots of customization options. Though, i miss a few tiny things
1. Turn on Torch LED when phone is sleeping with holding down power button.
2. A more advanced power menu
3. Screenrecording (Idk if its possible in 8.1 though, ive used it a lot in some other Pie roms)

With this ROM my bluetooth headphones playback control sometimes don't work or it lags pretty bad. (Next/Prev Track, Pause/Play) Didn't have this problem with any other ROM before. Now I can't easily skip tracks anymore.

I flashed it and works well. No fixes.zip inside, but works. Play store works, but some pixel apps try and fail to update.
The only bugs are FP, display rotation and max brightness in auto brightness (you can force it manually). Calls, data mobile, wifi, bluetooth and nfc working. Camera working also with https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/Gcam_6.2.030_Advanced_BF_V2.2.1.190822.1145.apk
System is smooth, and audio working well also. Very good rom.

I'm not able to update anything on Play Store at all. Also looking for file fixes.zip.

Also looking for the fixes zip and also in addition to not being able to install certain pixel apps, I cant install other apps in the app store as well like Instagram.

Seems not many of us tried this ROM.

Tried... but due to brightness issue nd several apps not getting downloaded had to roll back....it's a great port though

Would be more interesting with a Pixel 4 port but lets see what stock OOS will bring first

Agreed, i dont mind key in the pin to unlock instead of fingerprint, but for the brightness, its necessary for me because i always using the phone outdoor.
Anyway, its really a great port. Seriously.

PIXEL 4XL FIRMWARE PORTED.

Flashed rom,and works well. For now I find that brightness is a max level always, and ringtones, notifications sounds and alarm sound dont work. Multimedia, and audio calls are working. Play store works well. I test it more time and tell more

I had the same issues. Max brightness constant and random clicking sounds from the speakers. No notification sounds and system sounds would randomly stop working. If these issues get fixed looking like a very good port ?

Whay is this happening?

My first 2 days with this ROM report:
My first impressions are good.
No major lag or bugs, clean fast and smooth
Good battery life: (7am - 12:50pm : 81% moderate use (Facebook, calls), 11:30pm - 38% after abut 40 min drive with Bluetooth tethering)
Just a few small things to improve...
1. No LTE (I don't know if it is the icon missing, or there is no LTE...) even after I reflashed the Modem (NON-HLOS.bin) from the Chinese fastboot version. And I get slow internet speeds.
2. Every time I turn on the screen, I see the lock screen as a small rectangle in the bottom left corner, it takes about 0.8 sec for it to jump to full screen.
3. Maybe just settings, but every time my player (Black Player) changes a song, the screen turns on.
4. Maybe just settings, but I can't find a way to change the Launcher settings:
A. Change default screen and add a 3rd screen
B. Change App draw settings​5. Camera (not sure if it's the App or the drivers) unstable, camera will not turn on until you switch cameras, front camera is highly distorted. This is not limited to the camera app, it's also in WhatsApp
6. Bluetooth seems to connect to my car, but music and calls go through the phone... But Bluetooth tethering works good (better than the Chinese version
7. Names of apps are cut in app drawer and on desktop (Play St... - Messa... - Facebo... - Whats...)
Overall I have a good experience with this ROM, it is my daily driver now (even with this small list it is still waaaay better than any Chinese or Global ROM!!!)

i have used two different recovery's, mauronofrio's and alexeei's, neither of those two worked, i had to flash the QFIL stock ROM
Also, i try flashing the rom by formatting system and without doing it but it wont boot

[ROM][11.0][Discontinued] Yet another AOSP project [Mi A1 Tissot][ALPHA]

Who are we?​YAAP is a project founded by Adhitya Mohan (@poad42) and Ido Ben-Hur (@idoybh) with the goal of staying close to AOSP in design goals, offer a clean interface, do as much as original development as possible and avoid becoming a kitchen sink and cherry picked mess.
Bug reporting:​
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
Downloads​Mi A1​Flashing Procedure​Install Latest Custom Recovery (This is recommended)
Coming from a different rom / OS you'll need to clean flash:
1. Wipe data (Factory reset)
(1.1.) If coming from stock OS you may need to format internal storage
2. Flash rom
(2.1.) After Flashing rom Flash Twrp (dont reboot without installing it)
(2.2)After Flashing Twrp go back to main menu and go to Reboot menu and select Reboot to Recovery Again
(2.2)Flash Gapps (This Recommended) For Root We Suggest Use Magisk Canay Builds (check below for download link)
3. Rejoice
For dirty flash just skip step 1, 1.1
and possibly 2.1 if your mods support addon.d (ex: Magisk)
It does not matter when you flash the firmware zip, and you only need to flash it once per firmware version

I flashed YAAP and I found that fingerprint sensor is getting harder to detect fingertips (much less sensible, perhaps?).
Also, I see that if I just flash or update Official Magisk Canary, after device reboots, it goes to Fastboot mode and never boots System. I found that a solution was flashing that "MagiskR" zip, found at the other Android 11 ROM, but once installed, I have to avoid updates... otherwise, problem will appear.

it could be different sensor like fpc ? i will see and i will fix it thanks for informing about magisk

i need more details on your sensor type if you can provide me
check this screenshot it has Fingerprint model stated that can you tell us what it shows there for you because as far as i and my tester tested this has blazing fast Fingerprint sensor

Friend, your screenshot seems to have been deleted
Well, while that, all I could tell is I'm coming from DerpFest, I have changed back to that ROM because I need to use my phone everyday. In that ROM fingerprint if easier to detect fingerprints.

You have listed -
Flash zip in recovery - Do you mean the stock recovery? Do I need to do boot unlocked or something for this work?
Do you want me to flash the zip file directly from stock recovery on my untouched device?

Do i need to re-flash vanilla rom before i proceed with your rom, or do i just follow your instructions ?

ROM Version: 3.3
Using this rom from last one week, so far the experience is good. The rom is very smooth and no crashes at all, the rom is full of lot of flagship features which are not part of M21's stock rom. WIFI Calling, Link to Windows, Dual Messenger, AppLock access and other stuff are working perfectly and top of that It comes with the latest security patch which is a great thing. WIFI, and Bluetooth audio is working flawlessly. The UI is smooth and fast as much as stock experience.
Comparing battery backup of this rom with stock is not justice. However, one full recharge gives you upto 24 to 42 hours of good backup, where WIFI was active all the time and use WhatsApp, EMail, Telegram and other texting applications.
The Only thing I was missing in this rom was the Samsung's built-in "Manage App Data" feature but I believe it has been removed by Samsung itself in Android 11. Still, one should definitely give it a try to experience the joy of a good custom rom.

No Need To Flash Vanilla Rom Before
Just flash it in recovery (follow instructions)
It have less ram usage a little bit but i will improve performance without debloat too much
