Hi everyone, like you I have a Moto Edge 2020 (The one with the SD765G 6GB/128GB), I know most of you were upset after the official motorola A12 update list and not seeing our phone in that list.
While I read most of the forums, I found that in an official Lenovo forum, a developer said that there are no plans on releasing Android 12 on Moto Edge 2020
As of today (February 1st 2022), I sent a mail to Motorola España/Latinoamérica to get further information about the update rollout of Android 12, and to know if the Motorola Edge will be receiving that update.
They answered pretty quickly and said:

Which translated to english states:
Given the technical information at our disposal, your Motorola Edge "at the moment will stay on Android 11. It's programmed to receive security updates. It's planned to update the device to Android 12, but there is not exact date for that yet"
So it may seem that they WILL be updating the Moto Edge to Android 12, but not yet. I personally don't fall for that, but at least is some kind of hope.
One of the main reasons I want A12 is because of how buggy A11 is.
Have you tried using the Edge Triggers on moto gametime? After using them, the edge screen sensibility goes up to the clouds and the only way to fix that is to reboot the phone. There is plenty of bugs and things to fix on A11 that I think the best they can do is to release A12 as the final update and with future bugfixes make that the definitive (or at least trying to) version for Motorola Edge.
Let me know your thoughts this is my first XDA post ever, I hope you find it useful
nice news, sad how they butchered the edge display with android 11, i really like moto edge, but i got green tint, and was too lazy to send it back XD

Thanks to all our awesome fans we have a perfect 5 star rating! Kinsoft is proud to announce our latest, and biggest update yet!
Version 1.3
Mango instant-resume
Added over 1500 additional phrases
Updated/changed some visuals/sounds
This update will only apply to Mango devices, but feel free to download the existing version and get the added functionality when your phone is updated.
Catch Phrase Party
This is that fast talking, fast passing game you all have probably played before. If you haven't, it is a party game where one person has a phrase in front of them, and they have to get their team members to guess the phrase, without spelling it out, using a word from the phrase, etc. If the buzzer sounds when your team has the phone, then the opposing team is awarded a point.
Very fun game when you have a few friends all sitting around with nothing better to do.

will it work on NODO?

Yes. The app is available for Nodo, but it will be stuck at version 1.2 until you update to Mango. This is standard for all apps. Mango users are currently getting updates for existing apps that Nodo users won't see until after they update to Mango. This just means by the time Mango is in the hands of the average user, more apps will be Mango ready.
Version 1.2 still has thousands of phrases, and is a solid app. People have been happy with it so far, 1.3 is just all the more awesome.
thanks for reply.
Anytime!
I hope you get a chance to try it out.
thank U......
Android ICS Update to be available for LG Optimus Black, 2x, Lucid, Lte, 3D, PRADA, vu, Nitro HD, Spectrum in October

October.........2014
If it's any later than October 19th, I think LG may have won the record for taking a year to get an update from it's announcement to its actual release. That's insane

all I can say is that the update better be good with 3.0 kernel and less bugs if they have taken so much time

And as said before: there isnt that big difference between 2.6.39.xx and 3.0 as one might think... Its not like android 1.x versus 2.x more like android 2.3.4 to 2.3.5. Guess if you dont know this you wont see the change

thats nice, but im sure that anyone working at motorolas help desk knows just much as you. and your guess would just be as good as their guess. it will come when its ready, but it wont come before the next nexus, as it wont be released before it.

I can read Dutch and German, the things I have noticed is that Germans are much more politer then Dutch people :good: even on helpdesks
My guess is that Motorola is going to Make the nexus 6 not LG anymore sadly :/ and that the android L will come soon :/ but I wonder or they will release the dev preview, I mean android L official release will be with the Nexus6 so I think The Motorola phone will have it on the same day.

The original Honor Magic first showed up in December of 2016 and was one of Honor's less-popular phones. This could be due to the limited availability, or maybe it was a misunderstood phone. The Honor Magic was a more significant phone than you might remember and that's why I'm really excited for the Honor Magic 2. The Honor Magic was actually the first AI phone to ever hit the market. These days you'll see most flagship phones taking advantage of some sort of version of AI technology, but the Magic did it before all of them. This set the groundwork for the Honor 10, Honor View 10, Honor Play, and Honor 8X, which all use the same AI technology.

Now with the Honor Magic 2 on the way, we could see another evolution of their AI system. They teased a new AI assistant called "Yoyo" at the 8X launch event. Since then we haven't received any further information on it, but I expect it will have a lot to add to the current state of digital assistants.
They've also shown us a bit of the new pop-up camera which gets rid of any need for a notched display. We have seen this design implemented into other devices since then, but we still don't know the full details of how this function will work.
The launch date for the Honor Magic 2 is set for October 31st in Beijing. This new phone will undoubtedly set the groundwork for new technologies for future Honor phones. We will learn more about the specs and price at the launch, which so far have been kept a secret.
A few details about the new phone have leaked. We know that it will feature six cameras with three on the back and three on the front. There will also be a curved 2K AMOLED display which is a rare thing to see in an Honor device. The exterior of the Honor Magic 2 will have similar curves as the Mate 20. We also have a look at the color options for the phone.
We will be covering the event live on our Facebook page. Make sure you check it out at 7AM ET.

Try to set up a new hotspot with your carrier.
Especially with Samsung's Rule 1 applies... if an OS is fast, stable and fulfilling its mission let it be! Firmware upgrades and updates can and do break devices. If it upgrades the bootloader too you're really boned.
This N10+ in my hand is still running on Pie, no firmware changes in over 3 years. Current load will be 3 yo in June; still fast and very stable with minimal maintenance. Security is not an issue.
That's what Android is capable of. You'll never realize this if you keep mucking with the firmware. I keep OTA updates disabled. I don't allow Wearable to flash firmware to my Buds+ anymore either after a recent one trashed the sound quality; it was a good flash that should have worked. They still need to be reflashed and rolled back to the factory shipped version
I got 2 other pairs so it's on the back burner.
