Screen refresh is 59.30 in 60 hz mode? - ASUS ROG Phone 3 Questions & Answers

Hey guys,
So I recently purchased a Rog 3, mainly for smoother, better emulation (coming from a OnePlus7).
The strange thing is that, Rog's screen in 60 hz is actually 59.3 hz.
This sadly makes emulators that run at 60, to have a stutter every second or so.
Playing in higher Hz, like 120, 144...creates that slight jerkiness that always happens when one plays locked 60 fps 2D games on high speed panels. I'd much rather have 60 fps games play in 60 hz.
Anything that can be done to force true 60 hz (or at least 59.9) on this phone?
The screen Hz can be checked on displayhz.com
Thanks, this is a good phone but this issue is so unexpected.

Youtube App 1080p 60 FPS dropping frames?

Hey guys!
Recently I bought the Note 5, couldn't be happier about it, but there's one thing that seems off. When trying to watch a 1080p 60 fps video in the YouTube App, even tough it says 1080p 60 fps, I fell like it's dropping frames like crazy, not really playing the media at 60 fps. When playing the video in the small windows while searching for other videos, or even if I download the video and then play it, then I get the smooth reproduction.
Same thing happens to me on my PC when watching 1080p 60 FPS videos on Chrome in full screen, on my 1440 Asus RoG Swift. In the stats window I can see it's loseing frames, but if I watch it in window mode it plays fine.
Maybe it has to do with 1440p displays and 1080p 60 fps compatibility or something like that?
Anyone has noted the same thing?
Anyone?
Galaxy note 4 here, same problem, still occuring as of August 2016. There is a google products forum which started on August 8th, and according to everyone who's posted there, this is a problem isolated to samsung devices.

Camera problem.

Outside (the house), cameras works great, quality is good and about 12mbps bit-rate and 30 fps, inside however cameras lag like hell, record at 10 fps 4mbps (bit-rate drop of course related to fps drop). I think it has do do with lighting, inside a room it records at 10fps but if I point camera at a light bulb it goes to 30 fps and records smoothly.
So seems like a lot of video noise is generated when filming in dark and hardware can't keep up. Are you tablets the same? is there anything that can fix this? It's on FireOS 5.1.1.
edit: Ok, I see from this video that this is expected from this tablet. But not sure about the reason, maybe it has to do with not enough light reaching the sensor for 30fps? I have no idea what I'm talking about though. Is there any software way to increase FPS in the dark?
P.S the camera app is so bad without any options.

Every device with a camera I have ever owned works like this, including film cameras since they were invented. Less light = longer exposure, everything else being equal.

Question Oppo find x3 pro auto refresh rate

Hi
I can't seem to find a auto refresh rate enable button on the setting. There's only high and standard option. Is it normal for Oppo x3 pro version 12?
Thanks
From what I recall, both the high and low settings are "dynamic" or automatic, just that at low it's capped at 60, high is 120 when possible but still dynamic, only using 120 when it thinks it's needed.
I didn't think that had changed from colour os11. I could very well be wrong.
Since the display is LTPO Oppo should take advantage of the dynamic refresh rate down to 10Hz. But unfortunately it uses either 60 or 120. It could save a lot of battery.

Question Framerate in video flucuate every time, why?

I got an Mi 11 Ultra 8gb/256, curently on MIUI 13 global, but I got the same problem when i was under xiaomi.eu....
When I set in camera setting video FPS to 60fps, or 30 fps in 4K (didn't tried in 1080p), after shooting, the files created aren't in 60 fps (or 30 fps) but fluctuate every time, at every shoots... Sometime it's 54.034, sometimes 29.94, sometimes 60.0, 56 etc... Same probleme when I select 30 fps, it's 29.32, or 27.71 etc...
It cause me problems to editing video. Framerate isn"t the same between all the file. It cause ghost images, shake and the result are really ugly and no smooth...
I've tried every settings no way. Do you have an idea? Is it normal?
When I use my Osmo action, framerate is always the same for evey files. No fluctuates.
Thx.

Question Asus camera app, video recording, frame drops

If I am recording video in pro mode 1080p 60fps H264 codec (ISO auto, shutter speed fixed value, white balance fixed value, image stabilization ON, hyper steady OFF), camera app or android OS set the CPU frequencies too low, which causes frame drops.
I don't know why only on 1080p 60fps CPU freq. are automaticaly lowered to ~710MHz/840MHz for big cores and ~1.3GHz for small cores. I can help myself if I set also ISO to fixed value...then the recorded video is almost frame drops free, but it is still on the edge (cpu utilization almost 100%).
I am using high performance system mode. Also try set min. freq. to max. in 3C CPU manager, but 1080p 60fps pro video mode always set them lower.
If I enable hyper steady(requires more performance), camera app does not touch cpu frequencies and recorded video is smooth without frame drops.
Android 13(WW-33.0210.0210.210), rooted.
On screenshots how it looks like during recording.
Can someone confirm this issue?
