Hi Friends - Introductions

Hello, I'm new to this site, however, I frequented the forum when I was taking my first steps using lineage. This is why I would like to help others in the same way that I have found answers or even a part of the answers on this forum.

please search before posting simple questions like this
there are numerous 'sticky' threads in the rom development forum, they provide answers to FAQs and also step by step guides, and even video tutorials
read the sticky threads
omg lazy ass! at least attempt to look (its plastered everywhere) before posting a thread. I don't think anyone is going to spoon feed you.
Everyone is a newbie at some point, but come on, you know the standard forum stuff right? READ THE STICKY POSTS FIRST BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS!
I hate this newbie questions. If I am a newbie, I read one or two days in this forum and I`m not a newbie.
forget one or two day i took a few weeks!
if so many people managed to do it, there must be something tellin' 'em how to do it right!

Upgrading Help!

I have just bought 2 HTC Touch HD phones which are locked to the orange network. I would like to upgrade to WM 6.5 and unlock them. I am new to all this and would like advice on how to do it from you guys who are experts by the sounds of it.
Look foward to your replies.
To address your question about upgrading, please carefully read this guide. I would also suggest that you read through the wiki. All the information you need is there. You'll need to spend the time to read and learn. If you're still stuck, you can refer to this guide also. Please ask any questions you may have in the appropriate threads/forums.
Best of luck!

Introducing Forum Specific Mod

Hi everybody,
Let me introduce myself. I'm M_T_M , your new forum mod for the HTC Wallaby.
I've been on xda-developers for over a year now. Mostly visiting the devices I own and supporting other forums with the experince I've gathered on this great site. Maybe some of you have seen me lately in the forums helping a little.
Now, I'm happy and honored to be appointed to the HTC Wallaby forums to provide mod assistance to all of you in the best way I can to this great community.
I'm here to help you and I expect the same from all of you .
If you experience any other way of approach from members, feel free to contact me through PM, or report the post by using the "!" button in the post.
Additionally, I want to let you know that I'll be doing some forum maintenance (cleaning threads addressing an already discussed topic or an off topic, moving threads or posts to proper sections) for making it easier to all of you get the information you are seeking and keeping the forum clean.
Cheers
thanks my friends

Hi there

Hi mates! Jimmy here.
Glad to be a part of this development-knowledge-sharing group. I used this site a lot long time ago when I used to have a Samsung Galaxy S2, with which I learned a lot about custom firmware. I was using Cyanogenmod at that time and it really improved the phone performance.
Now I have a POCO X5 Pro, and I'm here again to learn with all your help.
Thank you all.
Hello Jimmy, welcome to XDA. I rememeber the good old days of ClockworkMod and CyanogenMod on my Motorola A855.
If you haven't already, please take a moment to review the Forum Rules and Forum Etiquette linked in my signature. You can also see the New Members' Guide to help you navigate the forum.
