Hello, I bought a Remdi k20 pro 2 months ago in Japan from amazon( I'm still in Japan now) and apparently I got a the "fake" Global version one. The firmware version is 9.5.31 and I can't get any updates from the official Updater. Now I have some questions.
1) In this forum I read that I need to install a "fresh" update to overcome this "problem". I will go back to europe next year so I would like to have a European firmware if possibile, how can I download it?
2)This Redmi k20 is the chinese Version with the fake Global Firmware apparently... From the settings it is identified as "Mi 9 T Pro" ( maybe its because the "fake" Global firmware wants to make the phone look as a Global version even though is the Chinese one), does this mean that it has the B20 LTE? Is is a matter of Software or hardware? If i Install the european firmware, will the B20 LTE work?

Hi I bought the Chinese version (rmx2025) of this phone. On looking around the Realme EU support website I found a rom for an EU version of the X50 using a RMX2144EU_11.A.11 rom does anybody know if this EU rom can be used on the RMX2025 phone.
Same problem here can we flash the EU rom to our device?
I think that both are not the same phone and have different vendors...
If you see Realme X50 Global (EU) has 48mpx (Imx 586) camera, while X50 CN has 64mpx (Sammy GW1) camera.
IMO the correct version to try it, would be Realme X50m that has the same camera of X50 EU, including on the websites, both European and Chinese, the specifications and photos of the smartphone's advertisement are the same.
Is there any way to change the firmware from chinese to International Version?
In the Find x2 Pro thread there is a guide to change the Firmware region to upgrade a Color OS 11 Version but is not working on my device, my OPPO Reno 5 Pro Plus is the same device as OPPO Find X3 Neo and came with ColorOS 11.1, the Phone is Amazing but i need the Google Services built in. Because in the chineese Firmware is there a lot of problems with notificacions
That guide for the Find X2 Pro is for switching regions of international models, not Chinese ones

I have the Reno 5 Pro+ too and I would like to install a global ROM like you, but I'm afraid it's not possible. We are stuck with the Chinese ROM.

Downloading the firmware is easy, this is the same scenario as the X60, no one seems to be able to install the Global Rom from the Vivo India website onto a CN version of the phone.

That looks like a good tool, but I don't think the x70 pro plus uses a Mediatek IC. It's as if they just copy and pasted x70 pro plus in the description. It should not be MTK based. I think only the x70 non pro or plus is.

Getting the global rom is not the issue, it's actually installing with the locked bootloader. A lot of people have tried with no luck, including the X60. The ones that have been successful won't share the actual steps involved to do it.
