It is unlocked. All pay monthly phones sold in the UK now are unlocked from day one. I've tested this on numerous phones in the past, and my Vodafone S21 Ultra. My work O2 sim works in it.

Question Is it possible to tether on unlimited like it is with S20 Ultra?

My S20 Ultra has been able to tether out of the box with my AT&T grandfathered unlimited plan but my S21 Ultra won't. I've tried doing the shortcut but can't seem to make that work. Both were bought full unlock at the purchase price from Samsung directly. Is there a CSC I can switch to make it work?.

Question Unlocked S21 Ultra or AT&T-locked S22 Ultra?

I can upgrade my current unlocked S21 Ultra (purchased straight from Samsung) to the brand-new S22 Ultra through work, but that S22 Ultra will be locked to AT&T. After selling my S21 Ultra, this would basically be a no-cost upgrade for me. Would you do that, or stick with the S21 Ultra? I'm not really interested in the S-Pen, so that alone wouldn't be a reason to upgrade for me.
My current S21 Ultra is the U.S. 12/256 GB version (so Snapdragon).

I'd keep the s21 if it's the 16gb version otherwise I'd go for the s22

It's the 12/256 GB S21 Ultra.

Would the fact that the S22 Ultra is locked to AT&T vs. my current unlocked S21 Ultra be a deal-breaker for you?
