Thanks for the welcome. I've noticed I find lots of phones through various salvage, trades, etc but most are locked. I'm interested in learning how to circumvent the barriers so they I can give the phones to others who need them. Hopefully I can get them into a usable form first

after much hesitation, purchased entry level samsung device. it has become compulsory, but what can i do? i cannot afford iphone (seems atleast 4 os upgrades are likely).
by profession i am clerk, i do low level accounting.
