[Q] How do I reset a phone for use with a new phone number?

My problem is very particular and may not be one that has a viable solution other than purchasing a new phone.
Initially my Galaxy S5 was purchased with a new Credo Mobile phone plan through my parents. I paid for all of the costs and fees, however it was far easier for my parents to maintain control over the accounts since there were several numbers and services bundled together. That being said, I was not and am not an authorized user of the account. My parents and I had a disagreement and decided to suspend my phone rather than remove it from their plan.
I spoke with Credo customer service several times, to which I was informed that because my phone line is not paid for by me and since I am not authorized, they would require the account holders authorization to remove it.
How do I take my perfectly good GS5 and turn it back into a working phone? I have no problem getting on a new plan with the same provider, or a new provider all together. My issue is converting my phone to the state where it can be used by another phone number. Any help or advice is appreciated.
I currently still use my GS5 a ton with WIFI as often as possible and have a cheaper phone for actually talking. MY GOAL with this post was to seek aid in my quest to once again use my Galaxy S5 as an actual phone and be able to place calls.

[Solved] RAC lock on a used phone, need help accessing phone

Hello all,
I have been all around the intertubes in my day and have always been able to solve all of my technical problems with some advanced google searching, because if I am having this problem then someone out there has had it also and thought to ask right?
Not this time...
I bought this phone off craigslist, checked imei and it came back clean, got the phone running on t-mobile no problems at all, about 2 weeks later I get this RAC (Rent-A-Center) logo saying this phone won't work anymore yadayadayada, please call us with IMEI....my thoughts are someone sold me a phone they were leasing from RAC for a quick buck. I turned the phone on and it literally would not lot me access a single setting. Came up to an unlock screen wanting a Rent A Center associate PIN. I walked on down to RAC on my day off and they couldn't help me at all. They didn't even ask for the phone back, they informed me that the phone was "junk" and they couldn't even find out who it previously belonged to let alone unlock it for me (they didn't seem too interested in the latter).
I decided to take matters into my own hands and attempt to resolve this issue, no help what so ever out there. Plenty of RAC lock fixes for the s5 and other android phones but no specific help for my model. I attempt stock firmware through ODIN to no avail, then TWRP, custom roms, etc, etc etc, and it always comes up with the RAC lock screen.
I need help please, otherwise i'm out $325
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S6

Any other information needed I am happy to supply.
If anyone could please help me with this issue, I would be more than happy. I finally made the switch back to android and this is how it is going so far. Thank you for any help anyone could offer.

carrier undetected.

hello im a long time iphone user who swapped to android literally last Thursday.
i found note 9 deal online and went for it.
(Samsung Galaxy Note 9 SM-N960F/DS 128GB (FACTORY UNLOCKED) 6.4" 6GB Exynos 9810) this was the model i got, and some people recommend i root the phone for mod apks and customization purposes. i found a guide on youtube and followed it and somehow found myself with a phone that has magisk which is the root software? but a cancel symbol for a carrier. i am unable to see my carrier connections at all and only wifi.
id like some guidance on this to restore it back to working order, root or not.
pls help, friends.
yall aint even trip. i figured it out.
the guide had a root file that was N9_S9_Root_for_OEM_issue_devices_V3.
upon messing around noticed file name had "S9" assumed that part messed with my n9
found n9 only root file. badda bing, got it working.

Bypassing FRP with a Macbook

My mom just died and I got her old Samsung Galaxy Note 5. When I got it, it was on the setup screen and I don't know her Google account info to set the phone up. How do I bypass the frp without rooting using the phone or a MacBook?

Live Demo Unit

Hello good evening group, I want to ask some questions and I need your help. I'm a user of the S line of this S4, but I've had other devices along my trajectory too. But as I am, I'm used to the usability of lines S, and this one from s6~s7.. I use everything syncing on samsung accouts and google account. Like Every end of the year on my birthday I upgrade. The samsung accouts and Google account makes everything more practical and easy. I recently made an exchange with I gave my s10 plus everything right+R$1,000 in an S20 plus. I've been using it normally in my day to day, more recently I went to update it through the samsung switch, because there was a firmware update available. But after this update I found out that it is live demo. When I bought it, the seller did not inform me that it was a live demo version, so far I used it normally on connection, 4g and etc... After this update, it goes up signal and recognizes the chip... but I can't make more calls or SMS... I went to the technical assistance and they explained to me that it was a live demo version and etc... I always used it with film on the front and back and a cape, I never noticed that he had written on the back much more discreet ``Live demo not for sale'' kkk. And now ?? Has anyone ever experienced this ? This is my only cell phone for work and etc..
contact the seller, tell them to give your old phone and money back or you'll go to the police.
