Samsung Couldn't Create Secure Folder - Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Questions and Answers

After a charging throughout a night, I woke up in the morning and checked my phone (Note 8 Android 9 OneUI 1.0 unrooted).
All my apps in the Secure Folder popped up on the main screen in a folder called "Work".
(before the day, I had updated my samsung account email and it also screwed up my phone contacts cloud backup)
The workspace mode was turned on, meanwhile I couldn't get inside the Secure Folder. It showed "couldn't create secure folder".
And there is a new button called "Work Profile" on the notification panel, and I did the most regretful thing I had ever done. I clicked that button. The button went grey, all the secure folder apps went grey, then I long-pressed it and it showed another menu (pic2), I turned the "Work Profile" back on, but it only worked on the dual apps, the Secure folder apps still are grey-colored and cannot be accessed (pic3). If I click the app, it shows the Secure Folder Start menu, but it still ends up with "couldn't create secure folder".

(the Samsung Health is the Secure Folder)
Now the main question is how to turn on the internal WorkSpace, it looks like there are two Workspace, the internal one is bound with secure folder.
but the "Work profile" button on the notification panel (which I clicked) have turned these two Workspace off and I only can turn the external one back on.
(the internal one is grey-colored)
So is there any chance to get my secure folder data back? Can I use another samsung phone with well secure folder function to transfer the data?

If you have a SD card slot use the SD card as a data drive, all critical data and backups go here.
Do not encrypt it! Backup that drive redundantly with at least two hdds that are physically and electronically isolated from each other and the PC.
Try deleting the work profile. Not sure why you did that. I don't use secure folder; you are the most likely one to be locked out.
If worse comes worse factory reset I guess.
The Knox ecosystem is complicated, I avoid it... a steep learning curve; K-I-S-S.

I have already made a backup of the external data to a ssd drive with Samsung Smart Switch app.
but how to backup the secure folder data without getting into it?
and how to delete the work profile? I don't see a option of that.
I still have no idea why all these happened, like I woke up and my phone system suddenly changed.
I suspect the charging temperature was too high and it hurt the motherboard, after that day, when my phone runs lots of apps or some apps crash, it will restart automatically again and again, and the phone temperature rises gradually, I have to cool it down physically like take it in the fridge or put it on the floor where is cold, then the phone would stop restart automatically.
You are right, I will definitely avoid the knox when I get my next Samsung phone.

It's easier to learn the easy way then through the school of hard knocks (knox). Unfortunately this a complicated and complex reality. Hard to imagine what you never knew was possible...
I would use multiple hdds not a single SSD. If the SSD's interface fails you are completely boned; if a hdd's interface fails you can still retrieve the data from the platters. SDD's have inferior data retention. One backup copy is not enough!!!
Do Not rely on SmartSwitch for critical data backup!!! Copy/paste critical data files then verify the transfer is complete and readable!
SmartSwitch will likely restore the settings that caused the issue; don't use it!
Backup the data correctly, then factory reset. Make sure Samsung Cloud backup doesn't reset the work profile. Not sure if it can or can't.
You might want to do some research on the Samsung User's Forum before going further.
As far as the overheating it may be just an app. You may have suffered a firmware corruption or a hardware failure. If the reset doesn't solve the issues it will need to be reflashed to the stock rom. If that doesn't work, it's a mobo failure.
Regardless if it's a firmware or a hardware failure setting up encryption, secure folder, or other access locks makes a firmware/hardware failure more damaging and may even completely lock you out. On the other hand if never locked after the hardware or firmware failure it may have remained unlocked making data recovery doable.
Been there, done that... set a bios password on a laptop, it corrupted itself and lockout. Had I never set it likely would have remained accessible
Physical security is the best security...

HardReset not possible - phone broken

Hi folks,
I'm having big problems with my Diamond. Yesterday evening i was listening to MP3 with the Headset. After I decided not to throw the phone against the wall cause the Windows Media Player did not continue playing the next MP3 on the playlist without me pressing "next", i turned it off and removed the headset.
This morning i woke up, the display was on and not going off again (no power cable connected). Some minutes later the alarm should wake me up, but the phone just vibrated and displayed the message, no alarm noise. I ignored, dismissed the message and waited for the next alarm 10 minutes later ... but nothing happened. Then i tried to play any sound in "Sounds and Notifications" but there was nothing to hear.
As I'm used to the phone not playing the alarm, i did a soft reset. The black today screen came up (just before TouchFlow 3D normally starts) and then the phone froze. Start menu did not work, nothing.
3 Soft-Resets and a connected power cable later, the same - phone freezes just when ToughFlow 3D should start. I tried a hard reset as a last solution and then ... error message.
The message "Trigger USB Host" appears for a while, then a red message "retry enter USB" displays. Phone does this for 4 or 5 times, then gives up and shows following message with a Red/Green/Blue/White Background:
--------------------------RED--------------------------
DIAM100 64;
SPL-1.37.0000
MicroP-Diam (LED) v11
-------------------------GREEN------------------------
PSOC-Diam STAGE_PVT v0x30
--------------------------BLUE------------------------
-------------------------WHITE------------------------
USB
-------------------------------------------------------
Looks like this tells me, that the USB Port does not work.
Is it possible that the USB is broken by the Headset, maybe a combination of weak braze point and bad move?
Trying the HardReset again and again (with and without power cable, with and without SIM card inside) results in the same behavior.
I ordered a spare device on amazon and will return this as broken.
Colleague from me had today the same issue after installing new ROM (Bepe 0.54) and trying to restore his "old" backup afterwards. Didnt boot up afterwards and after hardreset the USB message appeared.
We connected at that state the phone to the PC and started Bepes Romupdate again. This worked without any problem and the phone seems to be fixed now.
I did not install any custom ROM and do not really want to do it, as i want to send it back as "broken"
The problem is, i've applied the tweaks described in the forum, e.G. removed the start screen and animation. Had no problems with it before, but that should not be the reason for not working HardReset, is it?
btw, the "USB" down below shows me that the phone is in USB mode, removing the cable changes display to "SERIAL". The Computer shows a device "PocketPC USB Sync".
Is there any way to trigger kind of hard reset through this device, as it seems to be a way to install new roms?
Here a photo ... btw, after 1st try it's showing these not healthy looking lines on the display:

Someone tell me, if i'm doing something wrong with the HardReset.
Its your choice if you want to install new ROM or not (need to install USPL unlock first). If you can wait until you get it repaired back then of course its the safer way ...
uhm, okay ... next time, please someone tell me that "the OK Button" is not the top-right one, it's the one in the middle.
Now the HardReset (which really was one) worked, yay

And now ? How is your Diamond ? Did it boot correctly ?
For anyone need to know exactly wich button they have to press and hold to do an "hard reset", here a link : http://www.hardreset.eu/htc_touch_diamond_hard_reset_soft_reset_en.html

Well, it's empty and back to factory defaults ... but working, for now.
Hope my E-Mail to amazon was early enough so they don't send me a new one.

No not your fault HTC forgot to put an standard image on machine.
Had same problem phone is going back now to store.
If you look closely to previous screen it says (realy fast though) no image found. the screen you posted means that the machine is looking for an image trough usb port. So your usb port isn't broken. I find it really strange of htc that there is no image on machine because sometimes you just want to reset to factory setting (i do cause i try and test alot on it). Anyway on htc site there is an new upgraded image wich you can try. Its an exe so just attach diamond to pc (active synch needs to be installed) and run exe

I have a quick question - When you do a hard reset, do you only loose your personal data and programs on the RAM storage, or do you also loose all data on the internal 4 Gb storage ?????

When you're in the same screen I was, you're wrong with the HardReset as I was. The "OK Button" you have to press to hard reset is not the "back" button in the top right corner of the phone, they mean the center (navwheel) button.
So to do a HardReset, press VolumeDown and NavWheelButton and Reset the phone. Then it will ask you if you really know what you're doing, then press VolumeUp button to accept.
Afterwards you're happy owner of an nearly empty phone

Phone 4 GB store stays untouched, so HardReset does not delete files on the ExternalStorage.
Kewl thnx will try when i have phone back

maybe u guys can Hard Reset using clear storage - its much easier

after a hard reset you have the option to wipe and format the storage also. you choose yes or no by pressing a different combination of vol button...don't remember exactly but the option is there..
about the main problem here, sorry that happened but i have the feeling that u are not doing a hard reset. the description of yr screen in the first post make be believe you are bringing the diamond to the bootloader screen...the hard reset screen is grey (?)
ask somebody to help you. one is pressing the volume and the round button and the other one press the red reset button. first release the red button and after a few secs release the other ones. i wish i can help more, i can only imagine what you are feeling..

"No Service" after device shutdown - software or hardware issue?

I own a P880 device with cm-11-20150824-NIGHTLY installed for about month, so far it worked fine.
Followed by low battery the device was automatically turned off. After charging the device for a while I restarted it.
Now the device is unable to connect to the mobile network. The attached screenshot shows what I see whether the SIM card is inserted or not.
I've already tried the following, but the issue remains:
Turning airplane mode on/off, with or without rebooting between the turn off and on
Setting a 2G network
Choosing the network manually
Wiping the cache partition
Factory reset (wipe /data)
Restored an older CM11 backup that I was running with no problems for a few months.
More info:
The SIM card works fine in a different device.
The external SD card works fine (I'm mentioning this since the SIM card and external SD are on the same module).
There's no "No SIM Card" indication if the SIM card is not inserted.
Any idea what may cause this issue? does this seem like a software or hardware issue?

Thank you for your answer.
Yes, the battery (the original one) is fully charged. I also tried my backup battery which is of the same model as the original one.
Just reboot a couple of times most of the time it fixes it self

I have similar problem. It was giving me message on V10h firmware "Reorganization of internal processes" when I try to call someone or someone is trying to call me. I heard that upgrade to V20C official over LG sofware will fix that, and I upgrade it. And now after few hours of use I restart device and now he can't find service. When I try to call or do anything he give me that message "Reorganization of internal processes". Anyone know how to fix that what should I do, do I need to root and disable that dormancy or what can I fix it somehow when he is on stock, please help.
Phone is acting strange with service I mean all day he is working okay I even restart him 10 time it was okay, and now when battery was low (37%) and I restart him he won't find service I tried to charge him he is now 70% but still nothing no service.
EDIT:
When I restart phone when it is under 57% he won't find service at all, when it is above 57% it finds network after half minute-minute, and when it is on 80, 90 or 100% he finds network instantly.

I got the same issue and I tried several things, like putting my p880 in the refrigerator, but sadly without a solution. I think it's a hardware issue because my phone has never been rooted, and the issue also appeared in the official version. I also got the message "Reorganization of internal processes" when I tried to dial someone. The strange thing that happened to me, is that after a month or so my phone was also unable to connect to wifi networks, so my phone became useless and I was forced to buy a new phone... Did you also read the thread mentioned in my previous reply?

My phone was also never rooted, I also noticed that phone camera won't focus when I record video but when I take pictures it's focusing, strange. I think this phone sucks so much that is forgotten by LG, when I asked them for P880 they are like "go to service we don't know what that issue is" lol wtf ? I gave up, phone is broken I think something is wrong with motherboard. Hmmm maybe I don't remember anymore really.

I didn't notice that the camera wouldn't focus. I just tried to turn my p880 on, but even that doesn't work so I can't try lol. I think it's one of the worst phones lg ever made, just because of the software. Maybe there's something wrong with the motherboard, we'll never know .
Your tel. lost imei, check baseband version - missed too. Problem with cp software. If you have prog-box with lg-support, you will try to fix this, if - not, go to lg service...

[HELP!] Nokia 8 not powering on and unresponsive state! :(

Hi everyone!
I'm new here, I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I am having some serious issues now with my Nokia 8 of just only 11 months!
Still in pretty good condition, yes it may have had a drop here and there with a rubber casing
Just a couple nights ago I decided to go on my phone (3:30am pprox.) unplug from charger and was just scrolling through facebook via. Chrome and noticed it the whole app froze, and none of the buttons/touchscreen was responsive, didn't even want to lock. Just thought casually to force power off by holding the power/lock button for maybe 10 seconds and thus it did turn off. Straight afterwards I tried turning it on and to my surprise it didn't turn on, even holding the power button for a good length of time, to no avail.
No lights on the panel and didn't even recognise the charger.
I researched here and there and tried the different "holding down" button combos (Volume Up/Down and Power Button) but absolutely nothing!
I thought it was probably stuck on a boot or something, thus I went ahead and removed the screen (will need replacing unfortunately) and disconnected the battery ribbon cable, and after a minute and plugged it back in, hoping that it will finally power on. Nothing changed.
I am now left absolutely scratching my head and almost exhausted my options as I have been left without a phone, missing out on calls and messages for work and now really worried doing the button combos might've erased my phone's data/memory! :crying:
I am either wanting to repair my phone (getting out of its bricked state) or backing up or dumping the memory containing my contacts and SMS messages!
I have not come across anything like this exactly from other users, everyone seems to have been able to get the screen working and enter recovery/safe mode(s). But for this to just happen right on front of me is just bizarre and un-explainable!
Does anyone know if they may have experienced this whatsoever? And if anyone can help me on this??
I would really really appreciate it! ?
The phone burned out
([emoji3590]09-09-18[emoji3590])
Wow, are you very sure? How did you come to that conclusion may I ask?? :crying:
I have read elsewhere people with overheating problems where the phone hangs and they had to force power off. But they manage to power it back on with the button combos
Hi everyone,
A recent discovery and I thought it was worth mentioning, after having the phone connected to my PC, maybe after 30-60mins a device recognition sounds off, and in the device manager it originally comes up as QUSB_BULK. I see this related to the usual QHSUSB_BULK that people gets in other places on the internets, thus I installed the Qualcomm drivers and now I get this everytime I leave my Nokia 8 connected after that amount of time.

Does anyone know what this could mean perhaps?
Is there anything I could do from here??
If the phone is still disassembled, check the battery if not damaged or swollen or seems like a big pack of air inside. Maybe the battery is gone. Else flash a stock rom. You'll surely lose all data.
I have disassembled the phone and looked at the battery, it doesn't seem to have swollen or deformed at all. I've even checked the voltage with a multimeter on the ribbon cable for it and it reads on average 3.7v to 4.1V (depending if I've left the USB cable for awhile, like as if it was charging.
I really really don't want to loose my data, there are very important SMS messages that I need to keep!
Is there any way to backup any of this? Maybe through this Qualcomm?
Try to install a few android manager apps on your computer to read from the phone, available from different phone makers, htc, samsung. Unfortunately nokia didn't make one. Try to boot start your phone in safe mode if you can, even though it doesn't light up, maybe it will vibrate. Connect with your computer and try them all. Sometimes holding power and volume down and connecting usb might work.
If not, its probably gone. Your warranty must have been void by now, since you already opened it.
Your'e right, Nokia didn't make one, but like I said before it DOESN'T recognise to access the storage, the phone is dead, doesn't vibrate, doesn't lit up when power (or any) button is pressed.
However, as I've stated in my previous post, leaving it plugged for 30+ minutes will bring up an unspecified device (QUSB_BULK or QHSUSB_BULK) known as Qualcomm (I'll attach screenshot here again).
The warranty expire before I even removed the screen.
There's a very good chance that it's boot is corrupted (I didn't even do ANYTHING...no flashing, modification...Nothing!), and that it's stuck in a bootloop or cycle. I've only read people suggesting (like yourself here) to flash the rom which would bring it out of it's current state (only IF this is the scenario, but we're not too sure) but this would definitely erase everything, which needs to be avoided.
I've also been doing some more research, in regards to Qualcomm, is there no way to retrieve the data through this "Unspecified Device"?
Apparently I've read rumblings of people doing a full dump of their storage. Does anyone know more about this perhaps??
Try putting it on charge for 20 minutes, even if it doesnt show anything. Then with charging connected, hold down power vol + and - together for 3 minutes. Good luck.
There is Miracle Box tool available online for retrieving data off most phones. Look for it. That qualcomm unspecified device has been attributed to corrupted motherboard. Only option would be to replace it. Try your best with softwares before letting go.
Best of luck and hope for the best...

Wooaahh...don't luck me off (get it?) just yet! Still hoping we can all work together to not only benefit me but many others who has gone through this torment and to hopefully come across this in search for a solution.
In regards to your post, when you say it's attributed to a corrupted motherboard, do you possibly mean that the system files or partition or software or whatever got screwed up?
Previous poster PoochyX stated "The phone burnt out", but if this was the case wouldn't the PC not pickup the unspecified Qualcomm device? The fact that it is would indicate that this is not the case perhaps??
Looking forward to your thoughts everyone! ?
Pretty sure its a software issue, since its able to get power after some time. Found this on nokia forums
https://community.phones.nokia.com/discussion/51807/hardbricked-nokia-8-ta-1012
Maybe that can help. Try to use the miracle box tool to recover some data if you can. Then try to flash a firmware.
Hi everyone,
Sorry for my late reply, life has been pretty busy and very slow since I am using my backup phone (HTC One S) which even after hard resetting is running tremendously slow, battery draining really quickly (even after replacing a year ago when I thought it was a battery problem) and keeping communication to a minimum since I've lost all contacts and messages
I've checked the Nokia forums, they are not very helpful at all. And there is nothing of them to support retrieving your lost files and more of encouraging to just get the phone booting again (which results is data wiping).
I've looked into the Miracle Box tool, and whilst it looks really handy, I'm just not too keen on having to purchase a piece of device inorder to use the software and hoping it'll access or recognise my phone. I was really wanting it to be done as simply as possible.
Please do correct me if I am missing anything on this matter.
One thing I have came across are these "Qualcomm Phone Dumper Flash Tool"
- One variant here: https://youtu.be/JXbax7t42J0?t=128
- Phone rescue++: https://youtu.be/kSUZXnFnvUU?t=18
Both apparently shows the dumping of the EMMC, can anyone verify this or have any experience anything like these?
Also, if they are dumped, can the data be accessed to retrieve and backup contacts, sms messages and other important bits perhaps??
Apologies for the long post, there was a lot to get off my chest too but I hope we all can solve this matter, always appreciative! ?
Also I forgot to mention!
Despite the phone being in a unresponsive state, me doing the button combinations, like Power+Vol Up/Down, what are the chances that I could've hard reset or wiped my data completely???
Additionally, if I am able to do a full dump of the EMMC, how will I be able to extract my contacts and messages from this?
Hi everyone, I am still without my Nokia 8 and have been in discussing and trying different things!
So I thought it was worth to update you where I am and if you can still help me at the point I am at!
As you're all aware my device is recognised through Qualcomm 9008 by just using standard USB connection. Remember I can't see anything on the screen (it is also broken) so I can't tell what mode the phone is exactly in, but I am at the stage of using emmc Software Download app from QPST. I am doing this in order to access the internal storage and make a backup of my userdata.
Now according to emmc software download app, sometimes it is in "Download mode". What does this mean?
Also, I previously mentioned that my phone is freshly recognised in device manager in 15 minutes after connected by USB, I get this happening in emmc software download app:
I have tried this again and after leaving it for more than 2 hours it's still the same and gives me that error message after selecting Okay.
However, if I unplug and re-plug USB, then open again emmc software download app, and then click DLOAD button to select phone, I get this:
The State is now Enabled but no more Q/QCP-XXX (Sahara Download), it just says No Phone.
Any idea what this means???
there is a fix for that if ur phone detected as qloader 9008, means ur phone is in emergency state. u need a proper driver for ql9008 and a
multi functional/edl boot cable. once detected use QFIL tool to flash ur "nokia 8 firmware(must qfil), dont use normal cable it wont flash the qfil firmware. or see tutorials how to use it. that might solve ur phone problem and make it alive again.
but this might erase all ur data.

@JinbrianZ Kumusta friend!
Thanks so much for replying here, it truly is like having a gift for Christmas!
I have already installed the Qualcomm drivers (manually), hence why I get QDLoader 9008 in device manager.
I have read somewhere on the internet that the Nokia 8 doesn't work with any EDL cable, as it has it's own button combination to access the different modes. Please correct me if I am wrong.
At the moment I am not trying to flash my phone, I am merely trying to gain access to the eMMc so I can make a backup of my userdata partition. After I have done this, then I will make attempts to flash. However none of this can happen since I am experiencing the problems I have posted
Might you know why the software ifs giving me this error? Have you got a Nokia 8 too??
@Nokia_8_fan
ur chances of dumping the data is very low since ur phone state is bad, u might able to dump it if ur phone is able to bootup atleast, but seems thats not the point.
now its either u keep trying to find a way to backup ur data till u succeed. (doing this u might not able to achieve both by recovering the data & making ur phone usable again).
or
try to make ur device able to boot again. (atleast* if this works u have a working phone again). regardless of data restoring.
but i guess it cant be help. im sorry.
@JinbrianZ
Well I just bought an EDL cable, maybe the standard USB isn't just communicating well enough? Even for it to enter EDL mode?
I really hope my device isn't in such a bad state as you've put it, I mean it's still recognising as QLOADER 9008 at the very least. In fact, at this time point of the video this is almost exactly how my phone looks like in eMMC software: https://youtu.be/vkUv5Wmor8Q?t=42
The difference is when I try switching to DLOAD, I get the error 0x80004005.
I also don't know if the fact that I don'[t have an XML file loaded is part of the reason why it's not working?
I don't quite understand this and I wouldn't know what file to put in there exactly, or where it can be obtained.
Could this be a reason why its not working for me?
@Nokia_8_fan
have u downloaded nokia 8 qfil firmware? it might be included there, something called like "flash_local.xml". and also ur phone should be detected as COMxx. as u posted before.
if u able to do that again then.
follow this guide. u might u already seen it.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ge...w-to-backup-qualcomm-phone-root-t3570178/amp/
p.s.
emmc download is a old flash tool for all qualcomm based, just like qfil/miflasher.
u wont be able to backup from it.

Problems writing/detecting SD card

My Tab S2 is having problems recognising SD cards. At first it would read folders and files, but not write to them. Now it won't detect any SD card that I insert (I've tried 3 different cards). I've tried rebooting, removing and reinserting the card. Sometimes after a reboot it will detect a card for a couple of minutes, and I can read the folders on it, but then the card will disappear again.
Is this a known issue?
Edit: I just managed to view a file on the SD card, and I noticed a notification saying "still ejecting SD card" , followed by "Sd card unexpectedly removed", and the card was gone again.
???
Using good light and an optical aid examine the card contact of the Tab. Check for damage or contamination.
Clean with anhydrous isopropyl on both Tab contacts and cards using a microfiber cloth or cotton swab.
NEVER touch contact surfaces on cards.
Try again.
If no joy:
Clear Tab system cache.
Reformat card in the Tab before use.
If that doesn't work do a low level format using a 3rd party app then format again in the Tab.
Do not write to the card with other devices as this can cause corruption.

I've tried shining a light into the SD card slot but it's too narrow for me to see anything. The card almost never gets removed so I wouldn't expect much wear and tear.
I have no idea how to clear the system cache - only app caches. Do you mean booting into recovery mode and wiping the system partition (effectively wiping it?)
OK I've now tried the following:
1. Low-level formatted two different SD cards using a utility downloaded from www.sdcard.org
2. Rebooted the Tab into recovery mode and wiped the cache partition
3. Wet a small folded-over piece of paper with isopropyl alcohol and tried to wipe the SD card contacts in the Tab.
I sometimes get a notification saying the SD card has been mounted, but this is followed a few seconds later by another notification saying that it has been unexpectedly removed. This applies to both of the SD cards that I've tried.
???
You need to be creative. Try sunlight or other single point light source plus magnification.
Clear system cache.

That procedure is exactly the one that I followed to wipe the cache partition.
Using a magnifier plus light source the contacts look pretty clean - see photo below.
Is there any point in trying a factory reset, or does this look like a hardware failure?

I can't make heads or tails of that.
A hardware failure is unlikely.
The problem with a factory reset is you never find the root cause, so it can reoccur.
Resets are best used for rootkits and such, after a major firmware upgrade and to correct damage caused by poorly coded apps.
Do some Google searches and play with it a bit more before you pull the reset trigger. I always track down my gremlins... eventually

[ASK] Random Reboot problem

Hy guys, i want to ask. But first I want to let you know that this is not my phone, I use this phone only temporarily, but I am here and asking because there is something that makes me (sometimes) feel very very upset and frustrated.
This is my brother's phone, and he also asked me to help him in fixing the problem I was about to ask...
The problem is: Automatic freezes and reboots
That simple isn't it? But the impact is big, during that phase I can only use this phone for only a few minutes because my phone keeps freezes and auto reboots, basically during that phase, I can't do anything, all I can do is wait until it returns to normal or turn off my phone for a few minutes which is obviously quite long, more than 10 minutes going like that (freezes and auto reboots). Version number 52.1.A xxxxx (I forgot, there are clearly 3 numbers at the end), I tried to downgrade to version number 52.1.A.3.92 but it didn't change anything.

oh yeah, the trigger is a change in everything related to connectivity (WiFi, bluetooth, gps, sim card, etc), even when activating auto-rotate. Hard reset, flashing, downgrade, reset connectivity, nothing helps. Can anyone provide a solution? can downgrading the android version or using a custom rom help? is this just a software bug or a hardware problem?
thank you

I'm also having the same problem. Is there any solution?
I have same problem
My xz3 is so01l
I guess ta broken
Who can help fix?
hey i have had this problem for months now. Recently I flashed to a custom version (originally on SOV39) and i rooted my device and the problem still persisted. However, I found a temporary fix without messing with the hardware.
By disabling the sensors and then rebooting. It stopped randomly restarting and I can even use the device with airplane mode turned off while having all the internet functions working.
You can find it on Developer Settings - Quick Settings Developer Tiles - Sensors Off. From there you can just toggle it off on the Quickbar menu and reboot the device. Hopefully it works for you too!
I have same reboot problem, only restarts after a min in normal mode. Works fine in flight and safe mode
I took a notice it can be the cell radio as it is off in plane mode.
I find side sense and one hand mode. Is it the things to turn off? I have the same problem, works fine in flight or safe mode. Some wrote it could be the cell radio.
I have checked for the updated version of Android System Webview as another wrote in another thread it could be that by going to Apps and Storage - Play Store. But it is not on my phone so that can't be the problem for me. I have turned off 2 sensors, side and one hand mode but it restarts after a halv min in normal mode.

I tried the same solution (update system webview) and didn´t work for me, I´m currently performing a software repair to see if it helps, the thing is that my phone doesn´t reboot as often but still it´s upseting me.
I was able to partially solve my problem with my phone, I took out the black antenna frame and very carefully placed transparent scotch tape (because it´s thinner than medical tape) in all the contacts that are marked in red in the atached picture but now I´m thinking that I shouls have placed tape also on the places marked with green.
So what change I experienced on my phone with this method?
well the phone now has Network and wifi signal all the time and very ocassionaly it does lose the network and wifi signal for a second but when this happen the phone does not say that there is no sim card and does not freeze and restart, it just recovers signal by itself and I can continue using the phone.
